Silas and Chanpreet are dying. For over a year, they have endured unspeakable torment, held captive by a sadistic group of vampires who revel in their grotesque rituals on unsuspecting humans.

Just as hope seems lost, a miraculous rescue arrives, but not without dire consequences. Desperate measures are taken to save the two young men from the clutches of death. The doctors do the only thing they can, other than watch them die. They wake as fledgelings, condemned to become the very creatures they feared and despised.

***

Eadric finds peace in solitude, thriving in the emptiness that surrounds him. Yet, as the endless years pass, cracks began to appear in his stoic facade. When he pulls the wounded men out of the hell they have been surviving in, things begin to change. He has never sired a fledgeling in his centuries on earth, and he had barely even considered it.

When the Blythe clan happily volunteers the ornery man for the task of caring for the two men, Eadric cannot believe his ears. How could he ever become what they need him to be? Chanpreet stands at the crossroads of his new existence, silently yearning for guidance from a sire to navigate the treacherous path ahead. Meanwhile, Silas remains resistant, subtly longing for something more, a flicker of emotion to ignite his dormant soul.

Can the three men heal each other? Or are there some wounds that even immortality cannot overcome?

Procured is an MMM paranormal-dystopian romance. What happens when you take the grumpy/sunshine trope and add in a brat for good measure? Find out now! It is book two in the Provisions trilogy. While it can be read on its own, many of the returning characters and themes will be more enjoyable when read in order.

This book contains dark themes and adult content. Content warnings for graphic descriptions of violence, assault, torture, SA, blood, and death. While most of this takes place in the past, it is described several times throughout the story. Read with care.

Where do I start?! If you came into this book expecting the spicy tension of book one, you’d be half right. The other half is a delightful combo of trauma, pain and anxiety. Obviously I loved it lol.
Silas and Chanpreet are both sweet precious baby angels who need to be protected at all costs, and Eadric is the Daddy for the job 😏
I want to give zero spoilers, so I’m giving the vagueness that is required for that lol.
We get to see the Blythes a bunch throughout, which was AWESOME!!!! I love those 4 so much. The relationship they have with Eadric is adorable, and that extended to the boys. Hero, Chanpreet and Silas have the sweetest connection ♥️
The journey that these three men go on together, emotionally and physically, hurts. There’s no other way to say it. They go through so much, but learn to lean on each other for the support and comfort they need. It’s beautiful. But here’s the thing, WHY CANT WE JUST LET THEM BE HAPPY?! I swear to god Elle, you’re hurting my heart with this! How much more can you slam down on these characters 😭 I can’t
Thank you to Elle Stager for a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.

Procured (Provisions: Book Two) by Elle Stager is the follow-up that met many of my expectations from book one. It didn't feel like a rinse-and-repeat, building on the world and feeling "whole" as a second book with a third coming.

If you enjoy Vampires, Why Choose, political intrigue, challenging corruption, MMM, healing from trauma, brats, and A LOT of Daddy energy or some of these and want to try out the others, READ IT. OH! And we still get to follow our original cast as they weave together with Silas, Chanpreet, and Eadric.

I typically don't read much MM, MMM, and I identify as she/they, so possibly/likely, with a grain of salt, this story was well-written and tasteful, not fetishized, and still steamy, which I appreciated.

This story was a delight to read, and it broke and warmed my soul repeatedly so many times, like the first and how I found Elle to have down to a science in her works, and I always need tissues in case.

Thank you so much, Elle Stager, for a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review I'm forever grateful, and thank you for writing such amazing characters and world.

I absolutely love this series! I devoured book one and devoured book two the same way, in a single sitting. The relationships between the characters are so heart warming. I laughed, I cried (literally, on a train full of a bunch of people) and I ate up every second of it. I need book 3 like right now because that ending!!!!!

Well worth the wait for Eadric and his boys. Chanpreet and Silas' story was so emotional and so heartbreaking and rough to read. They went through so much bad that trying to get them to accept the good was a tough fight for Eadric. I loved reading their story, the ups the downs, the twists and the violent turns that I totally didn't see coming. What a trip and I am so excited for the next book!
