This little book is a very humorous look at the author's resistance to getting hearing aids. She records all the funny things that happened when she misunderstood a conversation - usually pointed out to her by good friends or family members. It tells of her final submission to the requests of every one around her, and the realization how silly she had been to resist. A good read for anyone who feels that they may be having difficulty, and a must read for those you know who could use a gentle push toward the desired end for all around them.
