Judy’s physicals are all coming back good and clear, which means only one mall day with Stargirl! But when a foe from the 1940s crashes the party, Jay rushes in to save the day, much to his daughter’s chagrin!
In many ways, this comic feels like a spiritual successor of sorts to the Impulse comic from the late 90's, and I'm all for it. I would love to see this become an ongoing series because Jay and Judy are just wonderful characters to read - their unique relationship has the potential for a lot of dramatic moments down the line, and we are already seeing some of this play out in this issue.
I am really enjoying the art too, in particular the inking really stands out and gives the art a really fun sense of motion.
The only other thing to say is that a Startgirl cameo is always welcome - and she fits right in here!
