“I want to tell you that you shine brighter than the sun, but that’s not true. You, Alora, bloom in the moonlight, while I slink along in the shadows, craving just a minute of your glow.”

Soulmatery at its finest.

I loved this! i finished it in 3 hours! I could have finished sooner but I have a kiddo so I was constantly having to stop reading lol but the fmc being the stalker was so so interesting. nowadays we’re so used to the mmc being the stalker so this something different.. good different meaning we need more crazy, badass, unhinged, and dark stalker fmc’s. I am a big torri fan! this is the third book I’ve read by her. her writing is great and you never really know what to expect because I definitely did not expect the twist at the end! if you’re looking for a quick, dark, spicy and easy read then this is definitely up your alley! Alora and Alexander are definitely a good match and I’d honestly love to see more of them!

It was raining. Pouring. Alora is UNHINGED my friends, and in the best possible way. She didn't hide her darkness, she didn't care if people saw her darkness. Infact her darkness was what made her so unique, oh and she's a female stalker. Can we get more female stalkers, because they aren't written about enough.

As with any of Torri's books, going in blind is the best. You never know whether you're going to laugh or cry. They way Torri writes is so atmospheric, you truly feel like you're part of the story. I thought I was right alongside Alora in her stalking of Alexander, and the ending I just didn't see coming.

The only thing that could of bumped this up to a 5☆ for me, would be getting just one chapter of Alexander, I just wanted to be in his head, just once.

i get it. it was raining.

like i understand it’s done for a reason but it was just a little too repetitive.

alora was a very interesting character, her mental stability was bonkers but still love her.

“your beauty could rival the moon. i’ll be the envy of every man in the city tonight.”

the way this could have been so good but it was way too short and fast paced. they both matched the others freak real quick but needed a better and longer build up.

DIRTY and DARK, this CRAZY dark romance novella is the perfect read for the upcoming fall season. I read this under 24 hours, and be warned: this book may not be suitable for you, for it had self-harm, playing with blood, stalking, and more dark stuff. The story follows Aloria obsessing and stalking Alexander, a polished and older gentleman. Despite her having a dirty soul, she keeps painting of him in her apartment, wishing she could have lust with him. But Alexander is keeping a dark secret of his own, and maybe Aloria has a similar dark secret of his as well. Would definitely recommend to my dark romance readers, it’s twisted and unputdownable! A must read if you love dark romances!

Filth really was filthy in the best way! I honeslty never know what to expect from Torri because she lives to shock and surprise us all - in the most delicious ways possible. I really enjoyed this one and would have devoured it in one sitting if work hadn't gotten in my way. Dark and disturbing just the way I like it!

Maybe I shoud think more before accepting recommendations from a reel on bookstagram.

There were a lot of 'why would you do dat" moments like when she paints his portraits, bring him to her apartment, leave him alone to go shower and then is surprised he found out about the paintings.
And the scene where she painted him with her blood but it actually had no relevance whatsoever after that chapter like the mmc didn't even see and its not even mentioned afterwards so what was the point??

...
I'll always love the FMC stalker trope💋
Poor Alora, she hated herself so much just because her mind worked differently, but she was so cute.
On the other hand, I was really angry about Alexander's reaction to her paintings until he justified himself and I forgave him🎀
Very cute and lighthearted.

I absolutely loved this book and am hoping she does decide to give us more of Alexander and Alora!! Sometimes, I felt like I was a part of the story myself. I love how deep Alora is with everything she does. I wish we had gotten to see their relationship develop more and blossom into what it could become. Definitely recommend.

I really love our heroine here. I can totally read a full length novel—I don't care if it's a romance or thriller—from her point of view. Her voice is just so interesting and refreshing. I have read another female stalker book last month and honestly, I love these type of unhinged heroines. Like, gimme more!

Sure I do enjoy some badass, independent heroines in my books. But sometimes... I just want the girls to be the crazier one. The ones who seek what they want. Which may or may not involving stalking their love interest.

Female Stalker?! Yeeepppp.
Alora knows something's off with her, yet she embraces it.
Her self awareness. was dare I say admirable?! She is unapologetically herself and the things she's had to do to get to this point in her life.

"My broken soul, and the way I think drowning would be peaceful"
Dammit Torri, why is that so deeply poetic

She has a new obsession. His name is Alexander. Alexander is pure perfection. Essentially a calling card, a puzzle for Alora to solve. He even leaves his blinds open asking her to watch him. To find his flaw, so she can then wipe her hands clean and move on.

Does Alexander have a secret? Or is he truly perfect... just out of Alora's reach?

🖤 Will this hurt your feels? Home girl paints his portrait with her blood... yeah, you read that right. She's a special unhinged type of FMC- and I absolutely adore her crazy ways! The content does have darker themes- but you'll find yourself rooting for these filthy soulmates.
🖤 Spice: There are some self care scenes while we wait for our duo to get together. I messaged Torri in the middle of it dying of laughter. Once they are together it's a perfect depraved fit. Hand necklaces, good girl, "come on my cock" a plenty. It's a novella- so you might be left wanting more pages though!
🖤 Category: MF, age gap, soulmates, stalker, murder and
DIY graveyard sex.
🖤 would I recommend: for a dark and dirty quickie, you betcha! She's under 100 pages, so you can breeze right through!

⚠️As always check triggers warnings, because some content is not suitable for all. This does have triggering content to look out for to have the safest reading experience for you.

I received Filth in return for an honest review from the author.

Alora is unique and when fate brings Alexander into her life he becomes an obsession. She can't get him out of her mind and she keeps telling herself if she figured him out she can move on. The more time she spends looking into his world the more her obsession grows but what will he think if he learns the truth that she's been watching him?

I adore Alora she's a little broken but I feel like we all are a little broken at the end of the day. I'm sure we've all done a little stalking over the years thanks to social media as well. I found Alora easy to connect with she's such an engaging character and I just loved her.

I absolutely loved Filth it's dark and gritty with characters that felt so real. I ended up devouring the novella in an hour it was impossible to put down and I had to know how it would play out for Alora and Alexander. This is a new concept for me the female stalker but I really enjoyed it because she's done a beautiful job telling Alora's story.

I'm a huge fan of Torri Heat she creates these complex characters and enchanting stories she always blows my mind. I think Filth may be my favorite of her works that I've read so far it just captured my imagination and stole a spot in my heart. My only complaint is that I wanted more just another couple hundred pages as I wasn't ready to walk about yet. Highly recommend a quick fast paced story that will leave you wanting more.

Filth ARC Review

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶️🌶️🌶️

“ For the broken dolls who are ready to reclaim their power. Welcome to your villain era.”

Filth is everything I didn’t know I needed. I love an unhinged FMC and oh boy does Alora deliver. Alora has a dirty soul, she knows something is wrong with her. It’s easy for her to imagine people as dirty, it makes her feel less alone, until she meets perfect Alexander. He holds her mind hostage as she obsesses over his potential dirty secret. She cannot focus on anything but discovering what makes Alexander dirty like everyone else.

There were so many elements to this book I loved. The relentless rain throughout the story was a perfect addition to Alora’s growing frustration of not being able to crack Alexander. I found the perspective of a female stalker to be refreshing. I would have enjoyed getting look into Alexander’s mind. Filth is a short and spicy novella that will leave you shocked and wanting for more. Here’s hoping Torri gives us more Alora and Alexander in the future.

Santa is bringing gifts early, Filth is available on Dec 21st - Don’t miss out on my new favourite unhinged female character 🔪🖌️

Filth (aptly named 🤣) is just Dark and Disturbing perfect to finish in one sitting!
I loved Alora and her obsession with Alexander, because we all know we want a female stalker romance and this was perfect!
I always trying and go into Torri Heat books blind because I know the ride is going to be crazy and amazing and this is no different!

“My fascination with him was bordering on obsession…”

But again, why do you do this to us? I need more!! I’m so happy to have be able to read all of her books (sorry Torri you’re stuck with me) I cannot wait to see what 2024 and Torri brings us!

This book was unhinged my friends, but in the best way!
The only thing missing for me was Alexander’s POV, hence it’s not a 5⭐️. Just one chapter would have saturated me! I want to know so bad how his mind work.
Don't ask me how Torri does it, but her works are masterpieces! I love her fierce/strong FMC's and her dominant MMC's!
This is also a call for all authors: can we have more female stalkers?

3.5 🌟

I always knew something was wrong with me.

This was a super enjoyable quick lil novella! I loved the female stalker trope and literally everything that came with it. I really enjoyed the slow burn of the romance and that for the majority of chapters were just in Alora’s head.

For being a novella, I felt like everything wrapped up really well and the pacing was perfect, which imo is tricky!

When you meet someone who you must know more about but you couldn’t be more different why not just stalk them right? 😋😂
“My fascination with him was bordering on obsession, quickly occupying every facet of my mind”
Alexander - a protector and Alora - a victim who ended her attacker find themselves to be a perfect match, once they learn each other’s secrets.

That's a lot of emotional responses packed into a short story!

Filth is a quick little stand alone, single point of view novella from Torri Heat. Don't worry, she packed in all the heat as usual. Definitely a great way to add some tally marks to the reading list as the year ends.

I am absolutely in love with our dark and twisty FMC! She knows exactly who she is and I love her vibe. Her counterpart *chef kiss*! Great character building in such a short amount of time.

I know it's a novella and it's not unheard of to just devour these, but that's exactly what I did. Quick paced, had me turning pages, and finished up in a neat little bow at the end. Definitely worth a read.

I don't normally rate books 5/5. To me those are books I would reread, which I don't typically do. But I loved the darkness that seeped from Alora, despite how she hid it. I really connected with how she saw the flaws in the people she passed, showing that everyone is flawed in some way. The only thing I wished for, is more. I wanted more time with Alora and Alexander. The story between them was dark and electric, just waiting to catch fire but I need the flames for this story to feel like it's over. I hope we see more of them, some day.

What a fabulous story! I couldn't put it down. A nice twist on the st@lker trope with the FMC being the st@lker but all is not what it seems and those twists and turns will keep you on the edge of your seat. I was rooting for her and desperately wanted a happy ending for them both. This book is dark, twisted and spicy, a perfect read for those who love dark romance.

Predictable and the "it was raining" motif wasn’t as impactful at the end. Still, I think it’s cool to read about crazy heroines. I like it.

I’m going to start off by saying my only beef with Torri is that she always leaves me wanting more, but in the best way. Her writing is always so intoxicating. Filth absolutely lived up to my expectations. Alora’s inner dialogue is fascinating and unsettling. Alexander is a mysterious hottie that I found myself wanting to know more about right along with Alora. Together they are a match made in heaven.Filth is equal parts thrilling and alluring. Highly recommend for anyone who wants something rousing and spicy.

A new twist on stalker romance.

FMC (Alora) finds a new obsession for her art. But will this obsession lead to death?

Overall, an interesting short read with a fascinating dive into the MC's mental imaginings. What drew me in most was the way it gave a new look at this trope.
