This feel good story is equal parts sugar and reality check. I'd love to see more of these books get into the hands of YA audiences and their parents because of the lessons imparted about body positivity, healthy relationships and general human decency.

Curvy Girls Can't Date Point Guards was amazing! I absolutely loved reading about Sadie and Terrell's story. I could definitely relate to Sadie's struggles with anxiety. Kelsie's writing is so real and relatable. I can always see myself in her characters. And there's something really special about reading a book you can relate to. I highly recommend reading this book and the entire curvy girl club series. You won't be disappointed!

Gosh I love these books. They are so adorable but have real problems every curvy girl faces.
Sadie and Terrell’s story is an absolute dream to read. And I’m glad I got to read it and be pulled into their world

I love this entire series, so it's no surprise that I love this book too!! The realness, raw emotion in these books is fantastic! It's real life problems/disorders/diseases that the characters have and Kelsie does a fantastic job giving real life views of how they deal with them. Highly recommend for every one to read whether your 12 or 112! Definitely worth the read!

Not typical rom com
Amazon had it right to place this in the YA social issues genre vs romance.
Yes, there was romance and it was sweet how, even though Terrell didn't agree Sadie's idea was right for his team, he still defended her.
As they got to know each other, they wanted more and it was a slow burn romance. But let's be honest, they didn't have a lot of time to really know each other and problems soon arose.
Terrell was feeling rejected and inadequate in many aspects of his life and Sadie....she suffered from anxiety on a level Terrell couldn't understand. This and lack of communication led to misunderstandings. They weren't together long before it feel apart.
But I like that their mutual friends and loved ones didn't just side with one over the other. Both Terrell and Sadie cared enough to seek help and try to understand and others helped them see themselves in each other's shoes.
Some may have taken Terrell's attitude as over the top and not understanding. Or Sadie's as selfish since she couldn't see how important some things were for her bf. But that wasn't the case. Their feelings were valid, but they also had to open their eyes and heart to the others feelings. I loved how the author addressed this.
The epilogue was a beautiful HEA, of course and I was all for it ☺️

Sadie Teaches Terrell and His Teammates ' Pottery ♡
Sadie has style. Terrell does too. I loved their story. Through Sadie's need to flesh out her college application, she needed to show she could offer something she hadn't before in her extracurricular community service, but it's hard for her because she has social anxiety.
Terrell's 🏀 team most of the upperclassmen got suspended which took the limelight off recruiters coming to Emmerson this year even after 3 years making it to state championships.
I really liked how Sadie pushed passed her discomfort and asked the basketball coach if she could work with the players to help them create a bond as most of the players were jv 9th graders and one 10th grader and Terrell was the only senior with the most experience on the team. Therein enters pottery and forming new friendships.

This is one of my favorite books out of the series. This one and CG Can’t Date Surfers. I know in life (mainly school) there are mean girls and when you’re a CG, it might not be easy. We saw in the first 10 books that there were mean girls that played a large role in the stories. I loved the last 2 because there really isn’t. Yes, the one cheerleader made a comment at lunch and she gets referred to a few times but the main focus wasn’t her being mean to Sadie.
I also love that instead of it being another group of 5, it was just 2. Yes, I liked the series and more books would’ve been nice but there is not always going to be a group of 4 or 5 friends. It might just be 2 girls who became friends and are navigating life together.
I have the Pride Edition book left to read (CG Can’t Date CG) and then I’m on to the next series.
I also love that instead of it being another group of 5, it was just 2. Yes, I liked the series and more books would’ve been nice but there is not always going to be a group of 4 or 5 friends. It might just be 2 girls who became friends and are navigating life together.

I have really been looking forward to Sadie's story as one of my teenage daughters deals with social anxiety. I really enjoy the way Kelsie becomes the character embracing their feelings and thoughts as if they were her own.
I'm also grateful that she shows that not only Sadie's feelings matter but that Terrell's feelings matter too.
As one of my favorite characters of the series says, and it's so true,
“It’s also okay for you to be hurt by it or think it’s unfair,” Birdie added. “People with mental illnesses still need to manage their symptoms and how they treat other people.”
Of course that's not all we get to spend time with Diego and April, Nadira who is ready to hand over some big sister advice.
It's another win for the Curvy Girls.

Review:
This was a nice book to end the series with but I wasn’t overly impressed with it.
Although the story line of this book was good I feel like similarly to the last book, it lacked story and plot.
Terrell and Sadie had a good story and I feel like loads more could have been done with this.
The book had a mental health rep and I feel like we needed more in relation to this, talking about mental health conditions is a sensitive subject and I feel like when writing it in a book, it should be done with great detail.
As a whole I really enjoyed this series and it was a really good read to get us out of a reading slump.
I gave this particular book a 3 star but the series as a whole is well worth the read

I absolutely loved Terrell. I am so glad that Kelsie wrote another book in this series because it is a perfect addition to the rest of the books.
Kelsie has a talent for writing characters that are so relatable that have such depth and complexity to their personalities, lives, and thoughts. I love how anxiety and therapy were addressed in this book from both characters and treated as normal - because it IS and we should all be brave enough to be honest and open about our struggles like Sadie and Terrell.
The only way this book/series could get better is if I found them when I was in high school.

Talk about slow burn with a couple so sweet they could give you diabetes! Loved how sweet they are together just melts me! Kept putting a smile on my face.
Also love how our lovely author shows just how real social anxieties influence those that have them, and how anyone can feel lost in another's shadow.
I love how she is so insightful and brings those insights out in her writing for others to see and understand. How her characters deal with those struggles and overcome them.
Again she has given us a curvy girl romance to remember! Thankyou so much!

I’ll be honest, this wasn’t my favorite Curvy girl. I had a hard time believing Terrell’s feelings for her at first. It felt a lot like “love at first sight” even though he wasn’t a huge fan of her in the beginning. I do absolutely love how Kelsie writes about real life things in such a relatable way. I have very minor social anxiety compared to Sadie but i could understand a lot of what Sadie was going through. All in all, I would reread it again. I did enjoy it and would recommend it to others!

A light hearted feel good read, that explores deeper themes in an open way.
As a person with social anxiety I so appreciate how this theme was explored in this book. It felt like a breath of fresh air that someone actually 'gets me' and can articulate it so well.
Highly recommend all of Kelsie's curvy girls books for anyone struggling with body image, it's a great reminder of the importance of self love.

A Cute Story!
I don’t know if this is the final installment of the Curvy Girl series, but I do think this book is a wonderful culmination of all the generations participating in that club.
This story was adorable and it stands as a reminder that sometimes real life opportunities come from dreaming and dreaming can become reality. Also, it proves that it’s never too late to try something new! Like being a manager to the basketball team or applying to a college you didn’t think of first.
Thank you Kelsie for another great book!

I absolutely love this book I hope it's not the last one in the series because this has helped me through my 10th grade year and now I know I can have a happy ever after too I deserve it and just because someone says something it doesn't determine my worth im like saide with social anxiety just going to school is a struggle and staying at a dance for the 2 hours is exhausting I really do love these books and they have helped me through so much I relate to them so much I hope she continues this series but I feel like it ended and I couldn't be more sadder I loved these books so much.

This book was a cute, shorter easy read. I loved both Terrell and Sadie. Reading about someone who really struggled with social anxiety really helped me relate to her. Also Terrell was not what I expected at all. I loved his journey. I loved how sweet he was and what a genuine good person he was. I didn’t quite know what to make of him after nadira’s book so this made me see him in a different perspective. He was so patient and understanding and watching him bond with the guys and really fill his leadership role made me so happy for him.

He needs to step out of his family shadow and shine for himself playing basketball She needs a recommendation letter for her team work when she suffers from social anxiety. Can Terrel and Sadie work together and find common ground with all that make them different for each other but they complement each other making them stronger together? Great as always Kelsie Stelting pointing out that different is good.

I miss this series so much!!! I love how when I come to this series I feel right at home. This one has bit more mental health issue then the past but still amazing storyline. Sadie and Terrell are amazing beautiful love story. Sadie has anxiety issues which Terrell wanted to know all about so he can make sure she was comfortable. I'm so glad that I saw them in the future!!! I love this series so much and I'm so glad that I pick this one up.

Once again Kelsie has got the nail on the head, not only covering the curvy Girls story but mental health. Having the main character have social anxiety and her developing relationship with the captain of the basketball team. He doesn't completely understand her mental health until she talks to the counsellor. He puts effort in to learn how to feel her and makes compromises. They are great for each other. I love Sadie and Terrell.

I don't normally write reviews but I absolutely loved this book. I love this series in its entirety and I always walk away feeling really good and uplifted when I read one of these books. I loved watching Sadie find tools to keep her moving forward instead of allowing herself to be held back. That she would challenge herself and make attempts even if things seemed really scary for her. Reading about Sadie's social anxiety made me feel really seen. A lot of the struggles she experienced put into words feelings I have never been able to. Thank you Kelsie, I dont think you'll ever know how much these books mean to me or what they've done for me.

Kelsie does it again! This book will make you feel all the feels! The transformation of the main characters of how they make each other better is just awesome to see happen. The realness of Sadie’s anxiety and how she deals with it is eye opening and what Terrell was willing to do to help her with it in any way he could was just simply amazing! Loved this book!

Holy Moly!!! What an incredible story!!! I genuinely enjoyed this story so much! Sadie absolutely climbed into my heart and I related to her so much! Wish I could have her cool pink hair, but I'm not that brave just yet! This was such a great journey for the mcs and the representation for us curvy galls once again blew me away!!! Thank you so much for another great story Kelsie!!!!

I just love this whole YA series! This author writes beautiful, inspiring stories about curvy girls reaching the dreams and dating whoever they want. Because they are valued, beautiful, and loved.
Sadie’s and Terrell’s story is amazing. I love how she was not afraid to seek help for her mental health issues. And even though Terrel was a popular jock he is full of insecurities. Together, they have to learn to love themselves, accept their beautiful imperfections and figure out if they are up to life challenges as they grow. They need to navigate through the stress of their senior year of high school and see if they can accomplish their dreams, by maybe needing to make sacrifices. Love this audiobook, I truly recommend this amazing series.

Another wonderful addition to this series. Each book touches my heart as the curvy Middle Schooler to the curvy adult I wish these would have been around when I was younger. The characters touch my heart and I can’t imagine what they would have done for Middle School me.

Another Great One!
I read this book after reading Curvy Girls Can't Date Surfers. (An amazing book! READ IT!) This is the sister story to that one which I think has an older sister story to that. (I'm on to that one next!)
Anyway, this is a great book. Sadie is very relatable with her mental illness. I felt so seen. It was amazing. Please read!
