INCREDIBLE BOOK!!! If only we all lived our lives knowing we get to experience what the people in this story did...every day! WOW this was fun, comforting, convicting, inspiring, and everything in between.

This book stirred something in my soul. I found myself in tears multiple times as well as breaking out into bursts of praise. The book is equal parts inspiration and conviction. It's the perfect reminder of the power of the gospel and the current weakness of the church. The characters are relatable. Their life struggles are real. The author's imagery of what we might see if we could truly see as Jesus sees is powerful. I will remember this book and its lessons for a long time.

This book brings the message of God’s love for ordinary people like you and me into a new and vivid context of modern everyday life. This book reminded me the series THE CHOSEN. If you like that, you will enjoy this.
“Can you help me, Jesus? Maybe just a little bit of heavenly favor? All I want…all I need is a decent job.”
“You have my favor. And I will be with you through all your days, and you will have my perfect peace through all the tests you will endure.”
So many quotes that I related to. Especially in this season of my life. What I would give to sit down TALK to Jesus, have Him LOOK in my eyes and heal the pain. Like Frank, I’m facing an uncertain future. Plans gone like sand through my fingers. Mr. Russell does a fantastic job of evoking emotions that span the spectrum of humanity, doubt anger bitterness depression fear hate envy regret…all while showcasing the all consuming love of God our Father. He writes about ABBA in a manner that you really do feel as if He could move into your neighborhood. I pray we as believers will keep our eyes on Him and help push back the darkness with compassion, love and determination. The deceiver can only point to the past, our Redeemer gives us a future. Excellent story!

Beautiful and uplifting
What a beautiful and uplifting read! As a Christian, I have always wondered what it would be like to meet Jesus and this book brought a glimpse of that through descriptions of his encounters with different people where he moved in. Every person has their own struggles and skepticism towards Jesus but he is patient with them all and proves his identity by performing small miracles and listening to their hearts and prayers. Lifelong faith and commitment to God is full of challenges, and the devil often tries to lead us astray with lies, planting seeds of doubt and temptations.
This is such a moving story showing how every person comes to know Jesus and how he works to bring them closer to him, his lost sheep. A truly inspiring and beautiful story for believers and those seeking.

One of the most moving books I have ever read!
Most people on this earth would react the way “the neighbors” did! “A crackpot” … “An actor” … “unbelievable… it just couldn’t happen!” But Jesus rose from the dead … think about it… is anything beyond him? No! But this book makes Him real. An incredibly insightful guess as to what Jesus’ personality might be! Some won’t like this… but let go of your doctrinal preferences and for a moment imagine it… how WOULD Jesus act? How would he dialogue with a street person … or a well-informed Muslim? Or … you? I cried thru this.. not because it was sad… but because I was that challenged to imagine… what would happen if Jesus moved next door … to … me?

I enjoyed this book so much! It's not so hard to believe Jesus can be funny and easy going. I find myself talking to him more than just praying to him. I can picture him sitting along side me in my car, standing next to me in the kitchen, at work. And though I KNOW he's always with me, it feels different now. I hated the part with the devil, but unfortunately he exists as well. I look forward to more from Sean Russell!!

What a refreshing point of view! That’s how I would like to have my Savior be if He moved into my neighborhood…though I am sure I would not handle it as well as did those in the story but then, Jesus knew exactly what to say and do to give them peace. I could identify with the characters and also with the situations they were in. Faith and trust permeates this book in a way that left me feeling welcomed and comforted. This book left me wanting more…in a good way.

Way to change an atheists thinking
It's so hard to do but when I read this it reminded me of the best way to live that I had heard. I was told to treat every person I meet as though they were Jesus in disguise. this book helps show how.

Amazing Read!
Hated when I finished the book I just kept wanting to read more! I laughed and had a few tears too! This really stirred my faith and reminded me of the unseen realm and how much authority we have!

Very good book, in the Spirit of the book Joshua
I enjoyed this authors version of what life might be like, if Jesus came to earth , in today's day in age. How would the people surrounding him in community react? What could be accomplished?
This book reminded me of Joseph Girzones, series of books, starting with his Joshua book. Because I had read that amazing series, which I employee you all to read, I gave this book a chance.
Sean Elliot Russell, did a fine job, in his rendition , and I enjoyed the book. Girzone, remains my all time favorite, but I welcome Sean Russell rendition, and enjoyed it!

It is wonderful to imagine Jesus arriving today and so clearly reaching into lives. It is a reminder that he doing the same through those who follow Him. Show me the way!

I saw this book advertised before Easter and thought it might be an interesting read for the occasion. This book is not a genre I usually read and that could be part of my low rating. Maybe I expected more from this, I finished it more because I dislike not finishing something I started and kept hoping I would get more into it. I’m sure others may really enjoy this more than I did. It does give a message of hope and with God in your life you can forgive yourself and others which is something we all need reminding of sometimes. Don’t let my lack of stars influence your decision to read this book, it doesn’t mean it’s poorly written, it just wasn’t my cup of tea.

interesting, but . . .
I am all for people meeting Jesus, but I doubt whether they meet him then instantly fall on their faces to worship him. I think it takes a little more maturity than that. I do realize that this is like a murder mystery which is solved in one book or one episode .

Read it! You won't be disappointed!
I was a little skeptical about reading this book. But, I'm so glad I did! It was heart warming and touching. It even had me in tears a couple times. It also reinforced my desire to serve the Lord with all my heart. I loved this book!

Bringing Jesus to life in these pages!
I like the format of this story, learning many perspectives because of the neighbors' backgrounds. It shows very realistically how Jesus interacts within peoples lives. It also demonstrates how Jesus likely radiates his love for the lost and found. There is great encouragement found in this book.

This book was often charming, ultimately heartwarming.
I enjoyed reading this book and will read the sequel to this book as well. It still amazes me that characters I tht were beyond redemption, were indeed not. However, without intervention (in this case usually from Jesus) many of these characters were on speeding highway going straight to hell. However, you or I could well lead those interventions.

Poignant, imaginative modern tale of awakening in Christ to salvation
Such creative story with every day characters that come alive as tender, precious beings after Jesus moves in next door. The encounters are so loving and filled with the Holy spirit as their lives transition in the week. Touching and inspiring. Thank you for making Jesus alive and real as he surely is!
