Zina

When my parents died years ago, I did what any big sister would’ve I put my life on hold to raise my baby brother. And I don’t regret it one bit. Never have, never will. Some things are more important than plans of being an American author in Paris, dreams of wearing cute berets and drinking too much coffee and eating too many croissants.

However, when rich businessman Brock turns up in my life, looking like an actual prince, he makes me want to turn the page. He whisks me away on a first date to Paris, literally making one of my dreams come true and, even though I don’t mean to, I start to hope. I’m hoping that I can have it all. My family and the love I want to believe I deserve. Because there is no way in that I'll sacrifice one for the other.

Brock

The moment I lay eyes on Zina, I know that she’s the one. Even if I’m on a “No Women, Just Work” streak. That said, it doesn’t take a genius to see that she’s skittish. She’s had a hard life and all I want to do is make things a little easier for her. As I get to know her, I fall even more in love with her. But, the last thing I want to do is scare her off or disregard her feelings.

When it becomes clear to me that for her, I represent leaving behind everything that she holds dear, I know that I have to back away. As much as it hurts me. I want to add to her world, not take anything away from her.

But it’s not so easy forgetting those gorgeous eyes and that smile. I've got to find a way to make her mine forever.

This one is angsty, sweet and steamy. Just like the streets of Paris! A girl with her dream trying to learn how to let herself be loved. And loved over and over again.
