About the author

From country boy to salesman to author. Upon graduating from high school I spent four years in the United States Air Force, with three of those years in Germany. After college, I spent my entire career in sales and sales management.
Prior to writing, I studied part-time for one year under the direction of a college professor learning the skills of writing.
I have traveled to more than forty countries and five continents, with more on my wish list.

Absolutely loved the crisp, clean cut, rapid fire, no nonsense style of writing. There were no embellishments needed for the story was flowing cursively.

Enjoyed the read and always kept me on my toes wondering at which point will Joe break. But he came through and delivered a very satisfying end.

I also liked the honesty of the story: it wasn't about fancy emotions and over-analyzing life's meaning, but all about those subtle memories that stir something deep inside when they remind you of the people who made you the person you are today (punctuated by the leitmotif of Joe's memory of his dad getting struck by the lightning).
