Read this as part of a class, and just wrapped up the last bit today since the class is almost over. This book is an incredible resource for beekeeping. I enjoyed the historical portions, goes as in depth as needed for the biology, and helps guide the reader through the beekeeping. If you're plannibg on beekeeping anywhere in north northern america, I HIGHLY recommend this, and see myself referencing this book for years to come

This is a good read, but even more a great book to keep in your library as a reference for the many activities related to beekeeping.
