”Anodyne: Conclusion” has Catwoman confronting the killer of prostitutes just in time for his latest victim to escape!
She confronts the killer and tries to ask him why he kills. He kills because he doesn’t like their reaction when they see his freakish face, which happens when he loses control. He’s a shapeshifter that has lost all his memory of who he was and how he got this way (but evil scientific experiment comes to mind).
Catwoman offers to get him help but he freaks out and they fight. He is quite good at it. Her, not so much.
She barely escapes alive and calls for help. ”….You’re not to use the signal again, understand? ”
That was neat! This was almost all action - which is not the artist’s strong suit - but it’s pretty good here. It’s almost an ‘origin’ story in a way. I’m giving it 4 stars.
