This is a Christian Romantic Suspense, and this is the first book in the Big Sky First Responders series. This is a fast paced action packed story. The problems I had with this book is that I just did not connect to any of the characters, and I was really bored at times while I was reading this book. I had to make myself pick up this book at times. But, there were times I enjoyed this book. I found the ending to be done well.

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Deadly Ranch Hideout. This is the first book in the series Big Sky First Responders. This is an awesome book. It's well-written, action-packed, and full of drama. I know you are going to love it.

Monica Larson visited her father in prison and left to find the evidence he's hidden against his mob associates. She was is a car accident and woke up missing three hours of her memory. She had left herself a message on her phone so when she read it she took off for Montana. She woke in a cabin after she had a nightmare but then she smelled smoke. They had found her! Someone grabbed her. He tried to kill her but she got a way. She ran out of the cabin to see another man coming after her. She ran for the woods.

Police Officer Kris Volker was off duty but was the closest officer to the fire. As he drove up he saw a woman running. Did she set the fire? As he neared the fire he saw two men armed and going after the girl. What was going on? He had to find her and protect her.

A terrifying journey to find the evidence to put the mob bosses a way while trying to stay out of the line of fire from these killers. God has a plan for these two, a plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a good plan for peace and not for harm. Give Him your heart and watch Him turn your life around.

Action packed from the beginning to the end! Monica Larson can’t remember what her father told her from behind bars. After a car accident, she knows it is important information but the memory won’t surface. And when she starts searching for answers, the bad guys are determined that she won’t find it. With the help of Officer Kris Volker, maybe she can stay alive long enough to help her family. But she doesn’t even know who the bad guys are and who to trust. Putting her faith in the Lord, and trusting Kris, maybe she can find what she needs in time. I love this Love Inspired Suspense, and loved the courage and determination of the characters

A fast paced suspense that kept me guessing as to who the bad guy could be. Clearly someone doesn’t want Monica figuring out who else is in the organized crime group her dad got mixed up in. Kris and Monica have a cute relationship while they begin to take notice of each other in the time in between bullets flying.

Fun story, though the ending seemed a bit hurried and a shootout scene stretched plausibility.

Will the bad guys win??

Jenna Night wrote a nonstop action packed book here full of danger, suspense, faith, love, and hope. Sometimes hard to determine who were bad guys and who were the good ones. The ending was as action packed as the beginning and in the middle. Great read. Get it. It will keep you on the edge of your seat.

I really hate not finishing a book it's one of my pet peeves! BUT this book was so incredibly boring I just could not get into it! I tried so many times and I'm just going to give up this book I can't even explain how boring it is.

The plot and the writing style just is not my thing!

I prefer my books to be in deep POV, and this story had a touch more telling than showing. But the story line was interesting, and the God moments were authentic. I enjoyed reading it.
