A case of mistaken identity, a mysterious suitcase, a road trip through the Southwest desert, a mysterious and sexy courier and a plotline twist that will take you utterly by surprise. Oh, and the white hot chemistry between the two main characters just may set the pages on fire.
Kyle Sothard's 38th birthday is destined to become his most memorable. An all expenses paid trip from his family to Sin City maybe just the thing he needs to lift him out of his mundane rut. A gift of a white carnation sets him on a path of adventure, excitement, drama and possibly danger in the company of a mysterious woman who entrances him. Rowan Phillips needed to make ends meet while on strike. She found one that seemed like easy money and she was able to combine her love of the outdoors and camping while acting as a middleman courier. What she didn't count on was her drop dead gorgeous charge. He's funny, friendly and way too darn sexy. They set out on a trek to parts unknown (at least to him) and longer they're together the closer they become. Along the way the do run into trouble but time and again Rowan astounds him with her sills and moxie. He falls hard and fast. Her? Not so much. Convincing her to give them a chance will be an uphill battle but it's one he's willing to fight. But fist he has to find her again.

Kyle Sothard, (yes the same family as book one with Mason),gets his first vacation away from the police station as well as his brother Mason's Swat team.
He sets off on a wonderful, well needed vacation to Las Vegas. A little fun, gambling and maybe a bit of female company is what he expected to find. What he doesn't expect is for a beautiful woman to change his life.
Rowan meets Kyle in Vegas and ends up kidnapping him.
Kyle and Rowan go on a wild adventure filled with laughter, a bit of danger and lots of fun.
If you have read any of this authors books then you know how much fun they are to read, she makes you feel like you are along with them.
I wish I could give 10+ stars for every one of her books.

Kyle's one of 8 siblings, and tends to be the practical joker of the bunch. Rowan's a butt kicking but out of work stunt woman willing to take side jobs while trying to afford the cost of living during the writers strike. Encounters with strangers leave Kyle in possession of a mysterious item and a subsequent encounter with Rowan has them joining in a wild quest to transport the item to its intended owner while being pursued by unknown individuals trying to intercept the case holding it before it can reach its destination. In the mean time they need to decide whether they can trust one another enough to safely complete the mission. You're going to want to read this one to see if they can trust one another with their hearts as well.

You think you know Downeast SWAT?
I absolutely loved Kyle and Rowan!! No spoilers, so I can’t rave as much as I want to. This one had some of the most interesting, funniest, exciting, and HAWT moments of the series! It will keep you guessing. Right up to the end. And if you don’t know the Duck of Justice, look him up! “Keep your hands to yourself, leave other people’s things alone, and be kind to one another.”IYKYK.

A page turner of a book. Both Kyle and Rowan are strong people. Kyle is a cop and Rowan is a stunt woman. Kyle is a guy who loves practical jokes, and Rowan is more on the strong, silent type. Put these two together, sparks flying everywhere.

Loved
Kyle had 7 brothers and was always pulling prankes. For his birthday his brothers chipped in and got him a vacation to Vegas. He met Rowan. Loved the story.
