This was legitimately one of the most beautiful manga I've ever read and definetly one of my top romance mangas of all time. I read both books and the future book, Itigo Takano knew what he was doing and is SEVERLY underrated.
First of all the plot is magnificent, the unrequited love, fate, the question of "what if?"It approaches the idea of cherishing friendships so beautifully in a way my 15 year old mind couldn't comprehend when I first picked up this book. And the sacrifices that some of the characters made to compromise for another's happiness just broke me.
I sobbed over this book and I mean sobbed it broke my heart to see the clash of the future and the past in this book and it really made me reflect on myself and the choices I made. As well as think about all the friendships I had made and the way I want to cherish these people (I'm fucking sobbing rn help)
I think about this book far too much and I think this book deserves way more attention than it gets as its such a beautifully written story with a beautiful arts type on top of that. I will definitely be reading more of his works after this book.
words can not explain how much i ADORE this manga. it has such a special place in my heart and its amazingly done.
orange is a beautiful story that shows what its like to live life with the regrets, and how people wish they could go back and fix them. the main character gets a letter from her future self telling her the regrets she has about someone in her life, and instructions to fix it.
this manga dose a great job at showing mental health struggles and how things weigh on people over time. it sends a lot of important messages about suicide and supporting those who are struggling.
along side the dark themes, it also has a slice of life vibe going for it and emphasizes the beauty of life, no matter how harsh reality can be. its also a romance and has many cute heartwarming scenes🥹
“every life is precious. please treasure each and every day, the present, the moment, and yourself”
(despite that i read this over a year ago im crying looking back at pages)
Suwa is my favorite character bro omg he really has the biggest crush on Naho YETTT he gives it up because he wants her and HIS BESTFRIENDDD to be happy together. Idk how one could do that without feeling miserable but this guy just loves to see his bestfriend's be happy together and that so precious bru.
Can't Naho and Kakeru just stop playing eye tag and finally HUG EACH OTHER OR SMTHNN? 😒
and the way Azu, Chino, and Hagita always saw when they were thirdwheeling and got out of the way. HAHAHA they were alwayssss plotting and making sure Naho and Kakeru had time together. BRUUUUU now that I think about it, they're doing all that because THEY ALL GOT LETTERS TOO STOPPPOJFPEOJMEFP
oh and sorry but F**KKKKKKKKK RIO I hope she gets expelled and goes away for ever and ever and everrrrr😁
It’s about a girl named Naho, one day she mysteriously gets notes from her 10 years later self (aka her future self). The notes are about what she should do “•I want you to make lunch for Kakeru” making Naho, make sure not to make anything messed up for the future. This was my first ever manga reading and I do enjoy it! The plot was nice and the books adorable. Love it!
Pretty art and likable characters, but the emotional burden the characters carry is unhealthy. The whole premise is trying to change the future to save one of their friends who later commits suicide. The young characters feel immense pressure that it is up to them and them alone, which is the unhealthy part.

It was very sweet. There is this wholesome idea circling saving a past friend from suicide. I do not think this kind of reading is enjoyable for me, so I rated it for my own records that I may not enjoy it -- but it is lovely in its own right. It did make me tear up once, so I bumped it up to 3 stars.
I read this in one sitting and loved it! Though the main guy we’re supposed to be rooting for, to get with the main character isn’t the guy that I think is good for her, but a very sweet story!
Time travel yet again! I love it. This story is so beautiful asking the question of if you could change the past would you? And more importantly how would you?
