Not a bad introduction to dance at all. It feels light because it's meant to be - it's really just an intro, just the basics. There are other books (referenced frequently in this one) meant to flesh out the examples given here.
I don’t know why the editor of this book (and a few others in this series) have such a specifically British focus and (even worse) address the reader as if they were a young student in the British university system. But I’d read more by this author
