Silent Scream - a review by Rosemary Kenny.

Officer Sheila Stone has a tragic family background, that haunts her with nightmares and feelings of guilt.
After her Olympic dream was ended by injury she started working in law enforcement, just as a serial killer targeted local women.
What's the link between the murders and can Sheila and colleague Finn join the dots by connecting the clues in the tarot cards left by each victim?

Silent Scream is a good and entertaining story that is easy to read. Sheila sees herself involved in a world that is beyond her comprehension as palm and tarot readings, and she is deeply confident that the killer they are seeking is among them. The case gives her solace while working her own feelings of loss.
I thank Ms. Pierce for this ARC.

I am finishing this series because I love Blake Pierce... however, I have NEVER disliked a "hero" as much as Sheila Stone.... What an ego!
More to come when I finish 😟

Disturbing and electric

Sheila is a great agent although she takes too many risks. A true hero in every sense of the word.

After finding her sister, Natalie, dead, Shelia works hard to finish her training and goes to work as a detective at the Sheriff's office. She & Finn investigate two murders where the women have been killed & tarot cards left at the scenes. Both of them are having trouble with Natalie's death. I am really enjoying this series.
