I enjoyed this continuation of the Wish series to the point that I was disappointed that Book 9 in the series is not yet available. Although this is a good story, as other reviewers have noted this book could gain from having better proofreading. This lack of good proofreading detracts from the story as the errors just serve to irritate the reader. This has caused me to mark this as 3 star rather than a possible 4 star read.
Again the last 2 books should have been 1 combined book. There were several typo's again and several misspellings of the characters names.
Overall it's a good and decent story. It just should have been proofread better and maybe organised in less books instead of having them spread out across 8 books.
Morgan Rice's writing really shines in this eighth installation of her vampire series. It is delightfully imaginative and takes the reader on a wonderful journey into the world of vampires. A truly good book.
Absolutely love this plot! The ending was super disappointing though. Went the whole book with this story arc then just ended it super quickly and easily at the end which was a big let down. Again, still heaps of spelling mistakes which gets confusing while reading.
This book brings hope as well lessons in not giving up. It doesn't always look like there can be help coming, but then again just keep the faith in the relationships that they will come! Love that!
I was given an ARC of this book and I enjoyed...actually one of my favourite series from this author.
There's plenty of action, a twisty plot and a cast of characters that all have important roles. I liked Taylor's strength of character despite what has been done to her, she has a kind heart and is determined to do the right thing. I liked the idea of the 'school for the supernatural', the mystery and the character development. It had a great sense of place.
Overall, this was an engaging and entertaining read.
Spoiler: Thank God! A rescue mission that ended up saving everyone from that crazy bitch and see died in the end. Praise! Also love the fact that Douglas is winston and Antonio is his father.
