"I want you to be my first."

Nova Monroe wants Carter North to be her first.
The only problem, Mr. North is her English teacher.
Her hot former football player English teacher.
He doesn't sleep with his students. Every girl at school has tried.
Nova wants his attention, but most importantly she wants him.

"No one can look at him and not crave his approval. Or maybe that was just me. I wanted his approval. But above all, I wanted his attention."

Carter North has had his fair share of romantic history.
But he has one concrete rule: Never Sleep With Students.
He has stood by that rule. That is… until her.
Nova Monroe is his definition of temptation.
He is determined to stay strong. He will not let her in.
That is until he finds her homeless and with no place to stay.
But can he resist her?
What happens when temptation looks so sweet?

"Nova Monroe was a special sort of challenge. My own personal hell, if I was honest."

I received an advanced reader's copy in exchange for an honest review.

"Everything about you distracts me."

Nova wants Mr. North to be her first. Mr. North needs to do everything in his power to resist Nova. But what happens when he invites her to stay at his place? When the lines start to get blurry and everything collides?

"I was walking a dangerous path here… and I'd just laid the groundwork for my own professional ruin."

💫 4.25 stars 💫

Ok. Now as most of you will assume I was a teenager in the 10's so I watched Pretty Little Liars. And while yes Toby and Spencer are my ultimate ship. Aria and Ezra will always have a place in my heart and that is why I absolutely DEVOURED this book. It was Aria and Ezra but done better.
He is an english lit professor while also being a coach she is a school girl down on her luck pining for her professor and honestly I was here for all of it.

"I felt bad for tormenting him. Just rotten. But I couldn't stop. I'd never wanted anything more."

Mr. North totally has the authority going on. But he also cares for Nova. And he is a Romance Author. I mean….
Just gonna put that out there.

"It was a sweet sort of torture to have her around so constantly."

The playlist for this was heavily inspired by Melanie Martinez as you can assume but I had so much fun with it.

I stumbled upon a promo picture for this some weeks back and it lived rent free in my mind for some reason. The quote, I believe, was : “Don’t tell me it’s bad, just be bad with me. And then be very, very good.”

So I guess, yes, I got off on the idea of a taboo relationship between a professor and his student.
And I would have enjoyed riding this line of forbidden romance if there had been an inkling of substance at any point but all I got was cringe in its purest form.

No character building, no plot, no subtlety. I'd get more finesse and script out of a 20 seconds preview on pornhub. There is no development in this book at all. Don't even come at me about the sex, none of it was hot.

Although the blurb hints in some way about Mr Carter's reputation and integrity, there is none of it in the actual book.
One second—and I mean literal SECOND— the MMC is perving on the FMC like an old creep, hiding his hard on behind his desk, dubiously berating himself for entertaining salacious thoughts because it would end his career, the next he's offering Nova—who's serving a vague sob story about being homeless— to stay at his house after catching her walking down the side of the road on his way home.
The same Nova who was sending him nudes minutes ago in class, begging him to fuck her and now this so called honorable, principled, EDUCATED, adult male is offering her to stay under his fucking roof?

My. Dude. No. 😆🙄 LOL

THE BLURB : "Taking what she offered would destroy his teaching career, moreover, it went against everything he believed in, but he’d never wanted anything more."

I mean, in the first pages he's blatantly perving at Nova's body like an old creep. Nothing about it being remotely sexy at all. Nothing.
"Nova Monroe beamed back at me. She was a problem. Head to toe, a problem. Her silky black hair. Her fuck me, Daddy lips. Her huge, real, barely legal tits. Her dusky golden, way too accessible flesh. Her long, thick lashes shading gorgeous, dark bedroom eyes. Her tiny waist that I could span with my hands. Her career-ending ass.
...She always sat in the front row, closest to my desk. She often had a candy in her mouth, making those fuck me lips tantalizingly wet, making my mind go inevitably to other things I liked wet.

...She lowered her eyes demurely as she ran her hands down her torso, presumably smoothing out wrinkles in her white, button down, uniform dress shirt. I didn’t see any wrinkles in the fabric, but there were plenty of other things I couldn’t keep my eyes off of.
...Her perky tits with their perfect cherry nipples were so clearly outlined that it made my hands itch, and my cock twitch.

..I’d been dodging jailbait without effort for years, but Nova Monroe was a special sort of challenge. My own personal hell, if I was honest.
...She’d turned eighteen a few months ago. I knew that because she’d had the unmitigated gall to tell me she was legal the exact day it happened.
A day hadn’t gone by since where that knowledge hadn’t tormented me.

I've read books with similar premises before and enjoyed them because there was an actual story, character development and an emotional arc. There was nothing of the sort in this. The heroine was flighty, naive, whiny, insecure. In one word : JUVENILE
Because yes, in the end, she was very much acting like the kid she still is.
And I do enjoy an age gap but this was not it. Talk about power imbalance here.
The author's writing did nothing to help the matter.
I ended DNF'ing this one 30/ 40% in after some major skimming.

I've read some of RK Lilley's books years back and I'm afraid to revisit them because were they as awful as this one or was it exceptionally bad? I wonder.

No plot. Lots of dirty filthy smut. I usually don’t mind but this was age gap romance with the heroine behaving impulsive and immature like the kid she actually is….made it creepy…yikes!

A strong 3.5 for mostly smut… although I was kinda hoping this would be more than smut. Quickly early on, you realize there will be no attempt to develop characters or plot beyond going through the motions in order to get to the next smut set-piece. The smut was good, although not anything particularly jaw dropping. The best moment was when he was somewhat obsessive, so it felt like something new. The dirty talk was good.

I really really fell in love with this book. The reason for that being that it had my favourite trope - teacher/student forbidden romance.

Nova was a student that was attracted to her teacher, Carter North, for a very long time. She was trying to get his attention by sending him anonymous texts. Carter also felt the attraction towards Nova, but he knew that if he tried to do something about it, he could risk his career and lose everything. But a chance encounter, where he finds out she is homeless, makes him offer her to stay in his house. From then on, the attraction gets bigger and bigger. For my happiness, it didn't take them a lot of time to finally start a secret affair. They were careful not to be discovered, but those scenes...OMG, those sexy scenes with them were everything I wished for and even more. The constant smut between them was so hot and it made me look around to see if there were people around me when I was reading those kinky scenes. I was there for it and I succumbed to their feelings together with them.

I honestly loved the story even though there was a little bit of drama towards the end of the book. Thankfully, Crater is a definite alpha male and he took care of Nova, because, after all, she was his true love.

Overall, I loved this story ♥️.

Almost perfect!

I have only two complaints:

The rushed ending...

Like I needed waaaaayyy more than that...

Who was lighting a fire under RK Lilley's ass, telling her to rush this? Like, girly, TAKE YOUR TIME! Let us enjoy these two some more!

And my other complaint is about the 3rd act break up.

I disliked the way it was executed.

And I didn't like that mmc was not losing his mind after he read her note. And even had the time and mindset to go on a date.

That is NOT a romance mmc make!

But otherwise, perfect tension, perfect chemistry, nearly perfect smut.

The pacing could have used more gentleness but it was decent enough.

I truly love a good forbidden, teacher x student moment, and this is one the ways you can do this to my liking!

Also, I loved seeing glimpses of some of my fav RK Lilley couples from past books that i loved!

Dair and Iris and James and Bianca are favs of mine! And now, we can add Nova and Mr. North to that list!

(Let's just ignore RK Lilley ever wrote the cheating mess that was Tristan and Danika and that other awful couple from that cursed Arranged book... ugh, those books still make me angry.)

If you’re looking for a forbidden romance that’s sure to burn up the pages, look no more, Teacher’s Pet is just the book you’ve been waiting for.

Even though he doesn’t sleep with students, that doesn’t stop the girls at school from being enamored by Mr. North. And for Nova Monroe, she’s not only enamored with him but wants him to be her first. It would be so easy for Mr. North to give in and say yes, but taking what she was offering not only went against everything he believed in but would also destroy his career.

Teacher’s Pet is hot, sinfully, and utterly delicious. From the moment you pick up this book, you can’t help but be sucked into Carter and Nova’s story. Nova is the very definition of temptation and poor Carter did not stand a chance. Carter tried desperately to stay away from Nova, but the pull was impossible to resist. Together, these two were EXPLOSIVE! And when I say they burned up the pages together, I mean it was a raging inferno. And I could not get enough of these two together.

The road to happily ever after for Carter and Nova definitely had its share of ups and downs. But for me, their journey was definitely worth it.

If you’re looking for a fun, sexy, guilty pleasure romance, I hope you’ll pick up Teacher’s Pet and fall head over heels for this story just as I have.

An age gap forbidden teacher/student romance that is more erotica than love story, this is a steamy read!

This book is a standalone but it is loosely tied in with R.K. Lilley’s other series, including cameos from the Up in the Air and Wild Side series and, more recently, Tyrant , which I absolutely loved!

Carter North is a high school English teacher (and secret romance writer) who is shocked to discover that a series of anonymous sexy texts he has recently received have been sent by one of his students. Nova Monroe is gorgeous, but way too young for him (she is 18, he is 30), and she’s a student. He’s never even looked at one of his students in that way before, but Nova’s forwardness tempts him like nothing else.

Things start to get inappropriate when Nova is kicked out of home, and Carter offers her a room at his house. He intends to keep things strictly platonic, but Nova has other ideas. She is infatuated with her professor and pleads with him to take her virginity. He puts up a fight for a little while, but the lusty feelings are all too overwhelming, and they soon embark on a steamy forbidden affair.

Holy. Freaking. Smut. This book is seriously steamy, and quite kinky with a dom/sub feel in the bedroom that includes control, filthy talk, degradation and name calling. It’s all very consensual, but it’s pretty intense, and gave me the feeling that the relationship between the two of them is more lustful obsession than actual love.

It's a messy situation that gets messier, and there is some drama, but there is a happy ending for these two.

I wasn’t too sure what to think about this book. The writing is different from Lilley’s usual emotive stories - it moves quickly, with little emotional build-up, the characters don’t have much substance, and I didn’t feel invested like I usually do with her books. Which is probably why it didn’t really feel like a romance to me. They were obsessed with each other, and that’s pretty much all I felt.

It was an ok read. Not what I was expecting, and after loving every moment of Tyrant, this one missed the mark for me.

2 stars.

I love RK Lilley’s books, but I found her recent releases lackluster, until this one. Crossing Fire was a miss for me, Tyrant was ok but lacked depth, but this one was good. I felt like we finally got the OG RK Lilley back; the one who wrote The Wild Side and who wrote Danika and Tristan.

There’s a lot of criticism about the lack of character development in this novel, which I disagree with. This isn’t an “enemies to lovers slowburn,” it’s an “insta-love, she’s obsessed with him and seduces him super-taboo” romance. There’s no angst and build-up because it’s not an angsty built-up book. Angst is not the only way to build out a character(s). Lilley employs other methods that are not as popular/trope-led or trope-heavy, but effective nonetheless. This book hits the ground running with spice and the character’s romantic story.

This novel is also super taboo, so approach with caution. While our heroine, Nova, is still in high-school, she is 18, has been for months, and she seduces Carter, very aggressively. He also is not a character interested in other students, only her. There were lines throughout that helped make this taboo dynamic explicitly consensual and not like an older man taking advantage of a young woman, but rather two people in love with each other.

Where in Tyrant there was minimal character development and our heroine had no autonomy and didn’t say “no” to anything, Nova displays an abundance of knowledge of what she wants and the lengths she’ll go to to get it. Despite her tricky housing situation and general vulnerability when it comes to her living conditions, she also demonstrates an understanding of real-world problems and issues and how she’ll have to deal with them, despite her young age.

*SPOILER* - at the end I thoroughly appreciated how Carter calls her out for attempting to keep him from his child, despite the fact that Nova made the decision to keep the child, she also made a decision to not inform Carter. That’s inherently wrong. Lilley approaches this I think with a clear message: that’s not ok. I loved how Carter calls her out on this, telling her she’s wrong and explaining why.

I enjoyed this novel immensely and I read it… well very quickly. I loved seeing characters whose stories I know by heart again, and just getting to interact with them, if only briefly.

Overall, this is the return of RK Lilley and I’m here for it.

Do I recommend it? ✔️

Tropes: erotic romance, forbidden, age gap, heroine in danger, protector, forced proximity, secret relationship, playboy, teacher/student, virgin, reluctant hero

Mr. North didn't sleep with students. Everybody knew it because every girl in school was at least a little bit in love with him. Including Nova Monroe. Can he resist her? Or will he risk it all and give in to temptation?

This was my first book from this author, and it was easily entertaining. There wasn’t much of a detailed plot, but if you love smut that is effortless in it's delivery then this is the book for you. I loved both Carter and Nova. Her problems touched me as I truly felt for her. I definitely recommend this read if smut is what you are looking for. This is my honest opinion, freely given.

good

This book had a more realistic take on the age gap romance where two people are in different stages in their lives. Assumptions are made, feelings left unvoiced resulting in misinterpretation.
I liked it towards the end I felt like the HEA was going to be unrealistic but it wasn’t.
Solid 4 stars.

I don't even know how I found out about this book but the blurb and the tropes got me curious. Well. . . you know when a book has everything to be crazy good but then it ends up just being a disappointment? This is it.

This was like a never ending porno and don't get me wrong I like my books with spice but this was too much.
There weren't a single development of the characters or their story just never ending "f*ck me" from the heroine and "I can't but maybe I can" from the hero.

I was expecting so much more from this story and it ended up just being a boring mess 🤷‍♀️

I hateeee dnf-ing books, but I didn’t have it in me to keep going with this one! DNF @ 47%.

My biggest issues with this book were the lack of character development and the lack of tension. There was no build up, no angst, nothing. Everything seemed so rushed and immediate. I also felt like the FMC (Nova) was sooo unbelievably childish, making it hard to feel anything towards her.

This book also lacked believability. What teacher is allowing a student to stay at their place to live? Not to mention, this same teacher is miraculously a millionaire, driving around a Porsche and buying Nova an entire new wardrobe…while setting her up with a savings account of $50,000…? The amount of times Mr. North’s friend referred to Nova as “your teenager”, ugh. I couldn’t get passed chapter 16, I knew I had to end it there!

Fun concept, poor execution.

I love age-gap and student-teacher tropes. And it has a great cover. I've read several of her books so I thought, why not?

Is Carter James Cavendish? Is he Tristan? No. But he's a good time. He's a wildly irresponsible high school teacher who cream pies his virgin dream girl student on the regular because, you know, she's living in his house now.

It's super predictable but it's hot and there are guest appearances by some of our favorite characters from past books (I'm looking at you, Dair).

The audio was great. No complaints there.

DNF at 67%, but probably should have stopped at 10%…
I had forgotten the utter shit this is.
The Cherry on top? The author writes she is Columbian… meaning from the South American country, not the USA state… if the same effort in written shitty BDSM and “erotica” would have been put in geography research, it could have been shit instead of utter shit.

I liked the book..not loved it. The ending felt very rushed, and the characters were so flat without any true depth to their emotions. Sadly, it's her weakest book to date.
I'm still so glad she's back writing again because I'll still buy her next book. I know that she's still got that magic that brought us Bianca and James. And Dair and Iris etc. So I'm not a fan of this book, but I'm not going to give up on Ms. Lilley. I'm still a big fan of hers!

Quite a nice read. Love the protective, caveman side of Carter. Love that all of RK Lilley series are inter-linked. All her stories are connected in the same lifetime. Show us glimpse of Stephan and Javier, Dair and Iris.. etc.. Brings back memories to all the books I have previously read (multiple times) from RK.Lilley. Hope to see more of her books 😊

It is no secret that I am a humongous fan of RK Lilley. I have literally read all of her books and I love them fiercely. She knows how to write some serious spice and connection, she knows how to hook you something, fierce, and she knows how to deliver an unforgettable story. This book was no different, and I absolutely loved it. I’m so glad that she is giving us the gift of her words again because I have missed them. So much.

This book is forbidden in the best way. It’s a student teacher romance, it hits the ground, running with the spice and connection, and these characters play with each other, something fierce. I was here for every second of it. The angst, the buildup, the push and the pull, the way that you were desperate for them to give into one another, and every step in between. But more than that I loved what these characters did to one another. I loved how they affected one another. I loved how they just changed the game for each other. Combine that with the fact that this book is set and the world of my favorite characters and I was just smitten from start to finish.

I could not put this book down. I devoured it in a matter of hours, because that is how much I got everything with these characters. I felt their heat and the pool towards one another, I felt how they were desperately trying to cling to any semblance of sanity, but how they just got lost with one another, and I just felt every breath of connection they had. This author is such a fantastic job of laying that all on the table with these characters and it’s everything. It makes for a quick and consuming read that packs the best kind of punch, and that leaves you desperate for more.

I truly cannot get enough of these two and what they did to one another and what they shared together. It was so inherently them and so distinctive and it was just fantastic. In every way possible.

Carter and Nova definitely know how to push each other‘s buttons and I loved it. I loved it so much. Those two had an undeniable connection and I loved getting to be a part of their journey together. It was everything that I needed it to be in more, and I absolutely loved it. Combine that with a fact that they had a story that was quickly paced and well written, and I just loved every bit of this book. I’m so glad that I finally had a chance to read it because it was a fantastic read.

If you love a forbidden and taboo romance, then you will love this one. I promise you that. It will deliver in every way with Nova and Carter and it will show you that those two are meant to be. It will also deliver some serious heat and fire, along with a love story that you owns you and that you won’t soon forget. Trust me when I say, you will not be able to put this book down and you will love it. I know I did, and I cannot wait for more from this author!

I have been waiting for Carter North’s story since we got glimpses of him in the other stories. I knew his would be one of my favorites and I wasn’t wrong. It’s a forbidden/taboo love story but it was everything I didn’t know I needed. When the heart knows what the heart wants, there is no stopping it. I love to read forbidden love stories like best friends sibling or age-gap love. It was sooooo steamy. I for sure was blushing reading some parts. R.K. Lilley did an amazing job with Carter and Nova’s story. I don’t think it should have gone any other way. There are some books I wish I could forget so I can reread, to experience everything again, and this one was one of them. It was a roller coaster of emotion through the whole book.

Carter North was a lot a things, an author, an ex-football player, a coach and a high school teacher. He has mad amazing life for himself. There has never been someone to make him want more out of life, he was happy. He has always had a healthy sex life but only had one rule for himself, don’t ever date a student. And until 18 year old Nova Monroe stepped into his class room, he didn’t have a problem with that rule. She was everything he wanted in a woman, but needed to stay away. But every day it got harder and harder for him to resist, he tried everything to avoid her but she was relentless.

Nova knew what she has wanted since she laid eyes on Mr. North. She was in love with him but knew it was inappropriate until she was legally 18. So she waited and was saving herself for him. She knew she affected him, she saw it clear as day and he knew he affected her but she also knew he would not do anything about it. He was that good of a man. So she would push him until he broke. And when he did, it was just what she needed. Her likes in bed were not like most and for some reason she knew Carter was the man that would be able to give her what she needed, in more ways than one.

Carter always knew he was a beast in bed, but Nova made him loss control every time. She was the only one that had ever made him feel so alive and so tender at the same time. He knew that for the rest of his life he wanted to take care of her and give her everything she needed and wanted. But Nova wanted forever and Carter knew he could not promise her anything while she was in school. They had to keep quiet or things would be bad for both of them.

Just like Carter’s friends said in the book “I always knew when you broke bad it would be fucken out of line, but you’ve outdone even my wild imagination, man”. It wasn’t going to be easy, for either of them. But could they see that they were perfect for each other at the end or will the truth coming out destroy the love they had for one another? Could they move passed the hurt they felt to be with the one person that always made them feel whole?

Received this ARC for my honest review and opinion.

Nova and Carter did not disappoint what I had anticipated. Nova is Carter's student who recently turned 18 and left home for her own safety. Carter tries to ignore Nova because she easily is a temptation. He sees her walking on the side of the road and takes her in while trying to help her catch up on school work. She's fallen behind trying to work enough to afford an apartment for herself. Nova wants Carter to be her first and is going to put him through the wringer to wear him down.

I loved that this story was told in dual pov and that this author likes to mix things up. Carter was a friendly playboy but worked so hard to stay away from Nova. Nova was a siren in her own right, though, and wears him down. I felt for Nova's situation and was glad she found safety when needed. This book is pretty heavy on the steam and happened to fit perfectly the mood I was in while reading. I was looking for a fun steamy read and Teacher's Pet delivered. I enjoyed the forbidden aspect of student teacher and age gap. I loved Carter's caring nature and could see why so many people liked him. Nova may be young, but she has had to take on adult responsibilities and worries. Though still an immature teen at times she balances it with a strong will to survive. Overall, I was so happy to read this book and felt it fit what I needed at the time perfectly

4-4.5 stars. If there was a teacher worth fantasizing over and pulling all of the seductive moves on as a student, it would be former football player Mr. Carter North. The ultimate professional who takes his job seriously, Carter will not ever go there with any pupil of his. Until Nova Monroe tests and pushes every single one of his buttons. It was easier to keep his distance when he saw her in class, but when he discovered that she was homeless and offer his home as a place to stay, all bets were off. To his credit, Carter really did try.

This book is steaming from the steam, it was that hot. Nova is every single thing Carter could dream up in a woman and she willingly delivers it all. The things he gets to teach her, which only fuels his lust even more. But it also pulls out his protective instinct and a huge desire to nurture her. I loved how he took care of her and went overboard with her well being. Nova needed someone to prioritize and value her and there is no better candidate than Carter. The teacher-student aspect is definitely an important plot point that pushes the story along into page turning territory. I loved their chemistry, the on-page sexy times and their relationship and can’t wait for more of anything that R.K. Lilley writes.

This was a nice, quick read--especially if you're looking for pure, undiluted smut. As the title indicates, it's a student/teacher romance in a high school setting between thirty-year-old Carter and his eighteen-year-old student Nova. She becomes homeless so he takes her in and a relationship ensues.
There is some plot from there, but basically, they develop a toxic relationship, which I ate up for the sake of mindless smut indulgence. Honestly, I had so many crushes on teachers and was obsessed with Aria and Ezra in Pretty Little Liars, so this book was just a smutty version of everything. I usually read college-age books though so it took my mind a little bit to push past everything. But, a 12-year age gap is nothing compared to some things I've read. I realized towards the end of the book that this is a part of a series, but can be read as a standalone.

Check out this book if you like:

Nova Munroe was eighteen plus and a legal age to have a sexual relationship with the man she had wanted for a while.

Carter North is the teacher in question he knows what she wants and is finding it very difficult not to provide her with an opportunity to collect!

This story is burning hot and alluring pulling me into the story very easily.
I could feel the tension between the two of them as he knew that being the one in authority he couldn't touch a student even if he wanted , he had to be strong and demonstrate denial and reject any advances.
I certainly couldn't put this book down I was compelled to keep turning the pages needing to know the outcome.

An unputdownable book added with undeniable passion !
This book is so easy to read, the writing flows easily bringing the reader into the story wondering if Nova gets her way.
Also wondering will Carter say Yes !!!
Five star plus!

A forbidden student/teacher romance as Carter North and the object of every high schoolgirl crush falls for his eighteen-year-old student Nova. Carter’s one rule is never sleep with a student and lord knows even though he’s had plenty of offers over the years he’s never been tempted but when he finds out that Nova has been thrown out by her aunt and left homeless, he takes her in. Although she’s still a virgin, Nova is no innocent miss. She targets her prey Carter with all skill of a seasoned hunter and poor Carter’s morals didn’t stand a chance against her wiles.

With the customary RK Lilley style of steamy chemistry and scorching sex scenes, Teacher’s Pet was a quick and easy read with likeable characters and has left me lamenting the lack of a hottie like Mr North at my high school when I was a student. An added bonus with this book was catching glimpses of Turner and Ro from Tyrant whose wicked banter always makes me laugh.

I’ve read a fair amount of the teacher/student trope. It’s one of my favorites. There is generally an age gap involved. It’s forbidden.

Thirty-year-old Carter is a nice guy. He’s a high school teacher but known among his friends as a fr3ak in the sheets and likes to date around. But being a nice guy, Carter has rules—don’t date students. When he finds out that eighteen-year-old Nova, one of his students, is in a dire situation that leads her to be homeless, he offers her to stay with him. But all the teasing that Nova does to entice Carter eventually makes him break.

Of course, living with a student will create challenges, and Carter and Nova are dodging getting caught while getting busy.

I enjoyed “Teacher’s Pet”. Carter was frustrating at times, giving off that nice guy vibe, but I wasn’t wild about some of his actions towards the end. Overall, though, I thought the story was entertaining.

I received a copy of this book for free and am leaving this review voluntarily.

I was very excited to get my hands on Ms. Lilley’s new book. I’m not going to lie that at first when I realized Nova was still in high school, I was a bit turned off. I ask that you take a breath and continue. She’s of age. I got over it. Overall it was a well written story. Nova’s backstory helps you understand why she is a mature 18y/o. I loved seeing Carter’s “best” and “worst” sides with her. I wasn’t a fan of the degradation. I know everybody has their kink but I can’t understand how Nova went from lily white to wanting that. Again, though it fits the story. The epilogue was very satisfying and left me with a huge silly smile on my face. I would love to see this couple down the road. I would love a glimpse into them a few years down the road.
