Why was it so pivotal to the story to include every trigger warning possible? For example, this was an omega treated like a slave by her family, while being abused physically and mentally by said family. Very evil stepmother and manipulated to be evil stepsister. Cheating true mates, rejected mate, sold to another alpha and discovering you are of royal ancient bloodlines. Then, kidnapping, imprisonment, sexual assault, forced mate marking,, finding out the abusive man you believe to be your father is not your father, and then said fake father trying to force you into being his new mate.
And on top of all this we have a secret society called the Society that shifters refer to as the Hunters stealing shifters for experiments. This is very explained and the ending felt so rushed I feel like it lasted by at the speed of light while I was left wondering where the ending went. Just Why? The story idea has potential was just obliterated by unnecessary trauma and conflict.
Okay first things first. SPOILERS. Second, every Matthew ever is always a raging d-bag. Third. It was really cute, Garrett, yummy. Lily, definitely appreciated she wasn’t helpless and whiny. I liked that she had a damn back bone. Like. Oh you cheat on me? And then you are going to spring a rejection ceremony on me!?!? BET! I reject you MATTHEW! IN HER DAMN WEDDING DRESS!!! I was rolling with that. I LOVED TIFFANY. Annoyed Kenneth got away. Is there more to this? Like does he DIE!?! Garrett’s twin brothers name was similar to his wolf? Did I miss something? Anywho. Love me wolfie books.

I bought both books in this series due to high ratings. I wasted $10 to buy them. The writing was all over the place. The storyline did not match up to the timeline. Plus, the book seemed to come up with similar situations that the main characters seemed to keep getting themselves into. The ending was rushed, and it seemed like the author was attempting to get to a specific word count.
Stayed up for hours on end reading these2 books. Well past 2 am some nights. I just couldn’t put it down. Kiss moonlight did brilliant with drawing you in and keeping you there. Very few sissy moments as I call them when they got really dull but it pulled out of it on the next chapter and just kept you hanging on for more. Will definitely ask for a book 3. 100% worth the read.
A lot of the books on these reading apps have a lot in common. One thing is that with few exceptions they have way too much going on. I mean how many plots and subplots can you have in one book? I almost have to take notes sometimes. I don’t know, maybe there’s some kind of competition that I’m unaware of. In any event, I didn’t hate the book, but I didn’t love it either.
This new thing where author /publisher takes one story and makes it two books is so annoying. This one ended part 1 almost mid sentence, and definitely mid paragraph / thought It is a good read but this habit is annoying
