And so ends my reading of this little series of eight novellas. Some were better than others, but all were entertaining.
I could have really liked Other, and I really thought I'd enjoy it a lot more because from the beginning the "Saboteur" chapters make you want to discover it, but it fell a bit flat. The plot was cool but the execution of Grace and Relyk's relationship was a bit below what I expected. Then again, the fact that he could become a mix of every alien species in the system threw me off more than anything else.
Nevertheless, I'm satisfied with the ending and I don't feel like I've wasted my time with these reads so there's that!

This series continued to get better and better with each book. In this final installment, the universe is even bigger, the stakes higher, the romantic tension greater! What a thrilling finale to this fabulous indie sci-fi romance. The Rose Rising series is a must-read for anyone who loves alien romance!

I’m not sure I like how this ended. I’m fine with the overall ending, but I’m not entirely sure I like how it got there. I found it unrealistic and quick.
Noting that these clearly aren’t meant to be plot heavy stories I’m sure the vast majority of people would not have an issue with this.

In this last and final book we get to meet Grace and the Saboteur! We finally get the in depth scoop of who the actual Saboteur is and his background story. We get an insight as to what his mission was and why he needed to try and keep The Rose from arriving to sector 7. We also get to see the more about his feelings towards Grace-his coworker. We get to see the complications the Saboteur faces when he realizes his feelings towards Grace and the repercussions that could arise if he were to act on those feelings rather than the planned mission.
I can honestly say that I enjoyed how this series ended and how the author ties everything together and leaves a satisfactory feeling that gives us closure with this series. I am sad that it has come to an end but happy with the outcome and the adventure I was able to embark upon through the books!

What a wonderful conclusion to this delightful series! I was waiting for Grace and the saboteur’s story with bathed breath and I wasn’t disappointed! It’s definitely the best of the series in my opinion. The idea of a shapeshifter is a winning one, especially when smut is concerned… But OMG, the feelings! This cold alien who comes from a society in which love is unknown is definitely head over heels for gentle, shy Grace! And Grace is a force of nature! She may be shy, but she’s strong and ready to fight for her love. I really, really loved this short novel!!!! Can’t wait for this wonderful author to write a full-length book, but I also want more of this spaceship adventures!

I finished the ARC of Other and Fever, and immediately read the rest of the Rose Rising Novella series.
Each book captures a short love story between two (or more ;) ) crew mates as the first ship in centuries is out to explore the galaxy.
The pull between each love match is well-articulated and believable in the short amount of time you are reading the book.
Delightful. Delicious bites.

Loved this series
I honestly didn't think I would like this series as much as I did. I am a fan of Ruby dixon, and one of the reviews said this would be similar. Alien/human true mates. I am so glad I read this series. Bonus points for never revealing the "villan," even in the book description for the final book. I look forward to more of these stories. I just wish they were a little longer.

An enjoyable conclusion
It was a lot of fun to take this journey with The Rose. With the big reveal of the saboteur, it was enjoyable to get to understand the why. It was also enjoyable for their happy ending. I would have liked this to be a longer story… it was such an interesting premise. And the shape-shifting… divine.

I love, love, love this whole series. This last story, Other, brought in some really beautiful elements like shape-shifting, and other things that I won't mention as I don't want to ruin the surprise. I'm smiling from ear to ear. So well written, I never left the story of Relyk and Grace. It's my favorite love connection in the series, by far.

How far will you go for the one you love? This was a great story with a twist you didn’t see coming. Once again Thea immerses you in this Sci-fi world that just keeps you enthralled. The story line keeps you on the edge of your seat. And don’t forget the spice! The chemistry is off the charts!

Great conclusion to an amazing series! We find out who the saboteur is and their real motives and it nicely closes this mini series.
The FMC and MMC finally come together to save The Rose and prevent war and the senseless death of millions.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review, but honestly at this point I click that pre-order button before the ARC even shows up.

It was supposed to be easy. Infiltrate the Federation and keep them out of their sector of space long enough to get the throne back. But the Saboteur didn't expect to fall in love and genuinely form relationships with the people on board the Rose. There is only one thing he can do...he has to turn himself in and hope he can stop them from getting themselves killed...even if it's just for her.
Ugh!! To properly review this I feel like I have to put the whole thing in spoilers, but I don't want to do that but I do! I was so ready for this book. Each one leading into this gave just enough of a little itty bitty cliffhanger slash teaser breadcrumbies for this. It was perfection. Chef's kiss. Beautifully done. So much thought was put into it and it was worth it.
The couple in this is just so wonderful, so perfect, and it really opens it up to be a whole series beyond this, and I'm not talking just a Rose Rising Season Two (which is also something I will ask for until she gets tired of hearing it. Which might not take that long.
