Solid spiritual and self-development/self-empowerment practices through the lens of the Divine Feminine and with different goddesses serving as guides for healing. I do like the section on feminine archetypes: maiden, mother, wise woman, warrior etc. and found it particularly illuminating. The author leads the reader through reclaiming self-worth, boundaries, energy, rest, emotions, intuition etc. Each section has practical advice, insight, affirmations and a "reclaiming ritual."
While I do appreciate the honoring of feminine energies and the divine feminine, working directly with these dieties is not my personal spiritual path (anymore) - but honestly one could plug in other archetypal or spiritual/religious figures - archangels, Ascended Masters, Mother Mary etc - instead of these goddesses and the exercises would be just as effective. I think this book will have a lot of value for those healing from patriarchal wounds and looking for spiritual empowerment in the divine feminine. I appreciated the section on "healing the witch wound" as I think it applies to any woman stepping into her spiritual gifts and personal power, not just literal witches. Would definitely recommend to those on a goddess-centered, neopagan, or wiccan/witchcraft path or any woman stepping out of her comfort zone and looking for a new framework for healing and personal growth.
I appreciate the author's caveat about shadow work and working with dark aspects of the goddess. Be careful and use discernment.
Thank you to Zeitgeist Publishing/Penguin Random House for the gifted book, this did not influence my opinion in any way, my honest review is given voluntarily.
What this books achieves: Helps one to access the Goddess within & harmonize with nature & her cycles. A deeper knowing of yourself will unfold, darkness coming to light.
I loved this book of intention. Alot of shadowwork presented, getting raw and real via journaling and self-care rituals.
A great book to work with over the course of a few weeks/months.
Dipped in and out of this over weeks like Kirsty encouraged. Will be buying my self a copy to keep to hand like the lunar cycles. Trying to make more time to connect with my self, my surrounding and just be present - it’s hard when you live off screens and have endless lists at work but this has encouraged me to embrace my feminine and creative flowing energy. I’ll be carving a bit more time out for myself and listen to my inner voice and goddess ✨
"It's very often when you feel the most lost that you are actually finding yourself. In these times, you are no longer who you were, but you're not yet who you're becoming, and it's in the in between - the void - that the biggest amount of Dark Goddess magic can happen."
Grateful for all the wisdom Kirsty shares❤️ So many reminders of the innate wisdom and power of the feminine, and heaps of actions on how to reclaim that.

A lovely book but I’ve not enjoyed it as much as her previous one Sacred Seasons. I’m going to pick up Lunar Living soon & see if that resonates more. I think Kirsty is ace & love her IG feed.
Like most self-help books that veer onto therapy territory, this one fell into the same trap of: do this or that if you have X or Y issue...but the problem is, how do you even know you have X or Y issue? If you did know this already, wouldn't you already be dealing or taking steps to deal with X or Y issue? While the goal of this book is commendable, it fell short for me because of the above, but also the writing itself is full of generalities, feeling very surface material throughout, like each sentence warranted deeper digging into/each sentence was the topic of a brief which was never explored. Plus the working with the goddesses' energy sections fell a bit flat - if you don't know of these goddesses going in, the information about them is very succinct, so how can you embody their energy in whatever you need to do? It kinda felt like a goddesses' deck would provide more information about each goddess then the succinct affirmation or prompt would help channel what their power and help is about. This book was the opposite to me - all about the rituals and affirmations, but not enough concrete information and material to base those rituals and affirmations upon.
Beautiful, insightful, inspiring and life changing. I recommend to work with this book slowly and really go within. Allow yourself to see the darkness and accept this part of you. Be patient and embrace your feminine. Thank you.
Thoughts: I’ve read other “spiritual pathways” types of books but this one is very different. Yes, the emphasis is on goddesses from various religions and crystals and altars, but you don’t have to buy into that if it makes you uncomfortable. But… you should still read the book. There is good information on taking a path to self-discovery. There are daily affirmations that will help you find who you really are; learn to set boundaries and say no, figure out your hopes, dreams, desires, and value. For these things alone, this is a good book. And the author encourages you to take the pathways slowly – this is not something to rush through.
Overall, I thought it was a good self-help book that can help you find your true self. Be prepared to do some deep thinking.
Recommended.

If someone asked me where to begin on their spiritual / healing journey, I would recommend them four books: "The Four Agreements" by Don Miguel Ruiz, "Real Talk" by Tasha Bailey, "Why Has Nobody Told Me This Before?" By Dr. Julie Smith and "The Goddess Path" by Kirsty Gallagher. I can't tell you how much I adore this book!! I finished it (at 11:11) with a completely different mindset to how I started it. I finally have answers I have been searching for my entire life. At the end this journey, I felt whole and surrounded by positive, flowing energy… Goddess energy 🧚🏻♀️ I can honestly say my life has changed for the better after reading this book. "My purpose is to be me" is just one of the many affirmations that filled me with so much joy. I immediately felt I no longer needed to worry about my life or feel behind because I am exactly where I need to be at this moment in time 🌷 This has truly become my Bible and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to improve their life 💫
This is a book centered around feminine self development with a focus on building a connection with the Goddess.
Like others, it brings forth women issues, proposes spiritual and psychological solutions and offers suggestions of Goddesses that can help with these issues and how to connect with them.
As I have read a lot of these books, I was expecting a bit more depth in terms of Goddesses presentations, more insights and a bit more understanding and setting into their cultural context for each Goddess.
For readers new to this kind of books and for anyone who doesn't know where to start their relationship with the Goddess this is a good read, it offers many exercises and ideas to further develop this relationship. All in all, I am grateful to have received this in order to share my view on it and I can recommend it to anyone taking the first steps on the Goddess path, as the author calls it.
The Goddess Path by Kirsty Gallagher is an empowering guide to discovering the Divine Feminine.
Gallagher shares stories and lessons from 13 goddesses across many cultures. She dives into archetypes, shadow work, affirmations, and rituals for gaining self-awareness and growth. These practices and exercises help the reader access intuition, establish better boundaries, embrace inner power, and connect with their authentic selves.
This was my first book by Kirsty Gallagher, and I'm so glad I chose to read it. I've since purchased all three of her previous books. I enjoy her teaching style and value her experience and knowledge.
I highly recommend this book to anyone looking to explore the Divine Feminine in their spiritual practice.
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for an eARC of this book.
I admit I bought this because it was a pretty hardback, but it ultimately wasn't for me. There's some solid life advice on life in here: about reclaiming boundaries, recognising your own "shadow" side etc, but I just couldn't relate to / engage with the actual "goddess" bits.
Plus it makes me uncomfortable when people treat other cultures' religions and beliefs as a pick and mix buffet - which I feel like this does, instructing readers to involve figures from both Hinduism and Judaism, alongside a range of ancient goddesses. I'm sure no disrespect was intended, but it made me uneasy and put me off the book further.
A lovely journey into the world of the goddess, connecting you to different goddesses from various religions and creeds. I also really liked the dive into the various female archetypes and how identifying and resonating with different ones can help you to address challenges you're experiencing. But I didn't connect with some of the chapters, and found the advice and rituals a bit repetitive... how many times do you write something down and then burn it? or say affirmations in the mirror? Enjoyable but underwhelming. I'll try other books by the author, though, as I think she is compelling and likeable.
A very interesting book! I think it's definitely a worthwhile read if you want to look deeper inside yourself and get more in tune with your spiritual side. I couldn't rate any higher as the way it was ordered was sometimes a bit repetitive which made for a less enjoyable reading experience. Formatting it as 'steps' may have seemed like a simpler way to approach the topic but it didn't work very well for me.
A repetitive and confusing book. The author discusses various goddess and there applicability to the daily lives of women. The book contains incantations, and affirmations that are aimed at empowering women. The author talks in generalizations making many credulous assertions, with the book containing no citations. The book is aimed at women who believe in manifestations.
Another book to keep going back to. This is my second time and I really took the ideas of calling on different goddesses (personas) at different times in your life. Kirsty is wonderful for getting back in touch with cycles, the origin of calendar dates, embracing the power of the feminine which is an empowering read.
Seriously...what is this? A 'How to" devote yourself to your inner witch and spend all day talking to her, finding your inner goddess. Cut the BS....i wish i didn't spend 1 Audible credit for this "book". Not only i do not recommend it, i left it DNF.
It's a good book and found it very insightful whilst on my own spiritual journey. Took a while to read, but I think that's because I've struggled to connect to some chapters as I'm very early on in my own path.
From the blurb I thought I was going to love it but I struggled with the flow and information. I think you have to go into it with a really open mind and I did get something from the book I'm just not sure what yet...
I got half way through and had to quit - which I hate doing! But I feel this was overly way too feminist for my liking and quite a cringy read. On the bright side it has a pretty cover (hence the 2 stars)
This book is a must for any Wiccan library. The information on the Godesses and different ways they are tied to the lessons are well thought out and presented. In this busy hustle bustle life we now live this book helps to ground and bring us back to calm and self.
This is not a motivational book! Finished about 100 pages of the book. Really expected something more like how to be more confident and etc. However half of the material is about some crystals and other stuff. If you really want to read a book for women read "Woman Code" by Alissa Vitti

Started reading this over a year ago and it came back to me when I needed it the most. Absolutely love everything Kirsty Gallagher does, this included. Some incredible messages to be taken on board for a more self compassionate way of life.
Just love anything written by this lady! So encompassing abd other worldly. Bliss in all times but especially when you are questioning where you are, who you are and need help to see what’s next
