OH. MY. GOD. This is the fastest book I’ve read so far.
Only took me about 2 hours all together, which was way too fast for me. Yes, I already left out all the pauses I made, and no, I didn’t update my progress because I forgot lol, I stayed up late to finish this and after I did, I slept like a baby, so content, feeling as if I had just achieved something, well maybe I did because this was so good!!
Anyway, this duet started off and ended so effing strong. It was nicely written, very easy to read and follow; the storyline flowed really well with lots of fast-paced and interesting details and events; the plot twists were mind blowing and the build up was amazing; the chemistry and interactions between our 2 mains were so well done as well. I seriously couldn’t stop reading and just wanted to find out what would happen next ASAP! Maybe that was why I could finish this so fast, I was hooked and couldn’t put it down.
Overall, this was a really good duet. I had a really good time and think that I found my new favorite author. Their(?) works hit all of my right spots and were just exactly what I wanted. Okay now I’ll probably go and check out Lisa’s other books/ series as well, byeee!

This is book two of a duet. You MUST read book one, Marble Scars, first or you will be lost, confused, and miss so much. Book two of the duet picks up where Marble Scars left off. Our heroine, Kayla, has been taken captive by the Pakhan and the H, Timur, is presumed dead.
The time she spends with the Pakhan is harrowing for Kayla. She has discovered a new purpose to live, but it's forcing her to willingly do things she doesn't want to, but it's for a noble cause and she hopes, that in time she can find a means to escape. Just when she begins to think there is no way out for her, an ally from within is discovered, but who is the ally? Who can she trust? But it may be too late anyway, because the devil Pakhan has discovered she's pregnant and he doesn't care if the baby is his or Timur's. He's decided it's time to get rid f Kayla and sell her at auction. It's what he'd always planned to do after he'd had his fill of her.
Book #2 is just as fast paced as book #1, if not more so. Not everyone is who they seem. 4 stars for this one.

This is book 2 and just like the first it’s fast paced with plenty of action and drama and a roller coaster full of emotions. With book 1 ending in a cliffhanger is where we pick up with Kayla still at the mansion with Farrell and there strange chemistry blurring the lines between them and Kayla wonders how she feel for the man holding her hostage. Farrell has crossed so many lines being with Kayla and it could cost them both there lives as well as his daughters but the pull to be with her is too strong that he must keep her out of Vasiliy hands at all cost because he will hurt and ruin her like he does with every female that he has any contact with and that scares more. Hopefully it will all come to an end and he can save everyone but just like before this one is a cliffhanger as well but it’s still an amazing book. This book has been revamped and some name changes but still very enjoyable.

The second book continue where the first one leaves off. Let you tell you that you are going to go on a roller coaster for a ride. It has so much drama, action, and suspense throughout it. Kayla is going through so much right now. We have a big of darkness but is written so very tastefully. It will have you on the edge of your seat as you delve into this world with her. We have questions answered and see so much in such a short time. It a little quicker read than the first book but no less exciting and intriguing. Timur is as fabulous as ever with is protective alpha self. He as well go through a lot throughout this book. It is one that is not one to be missed. It is a fantastic duet. The ending of the book/duet was just perfect and shows just how beautiful this story really is.

This was a fantastic conclusion to a great story which kept you guessing as to who wasn’t the enemy. Loved it.

This is the action-packed finale to Kayla and Timur's story, and it's dark and twisty and a frenzied dash to the end. Kayla has to survive without knowing where Timur survived their attack, and Timur's daughter is now a hostage against Kayla's good behavior. She's vowed she'll do whatever it takes to survive, but she hasn't seen the worst yet.
An unexpected pregnancy spirals the complications into disastrous proportions.
Betrayals, surprise undercover assistance, and more secrets keep the reader hooked to the very end.
Book one sets the tone, book two completed the race-don't miss it! I highly recommend this addition to Lisa Lovell's Bratva library!

I can't believe I'm saying this, but book 2 is even better than book 1. There are some triggers, so please pay attention to the warnings, but this is a must read. Also, don't start this diet at bedtime unless you've got nothing important the next day.
My heart was racing from the beginning to the end. Everything was amped up, and I felt like I couldn't catch my breath. Kayla needs to be stronger than ever, and she has so much more to fight for. Timur has to be at his most vicious. There's so much I want to say, but I can't without giving things away, so just read it!

Has Kayla is trying to figure out a way to get out of her current situation, she has found out some unexpected news times two. There are enough twists and turns here that you don't see the ending coming. It will leave you guessing till the end.

4.5 Stars!! This is the continuation of the Yakov Bratva and starts where Marble Scars ends. There are lots of twists and surprises in this story. Everyone believes that Timur is now deceased, and Kayla me his daughter. She is trying to keep them alive and has a surprise bun in the oven. Will she be able to keep them all safe? Does she get her HEA? Good mafia read. Enjoy!!

This is the second book in the duet.
Kayla was caught running away and fights for her life but Timor is coming for her.
All the drama and electricity from the first but the suspense is certainly amplified.
Timor has a lot to lose and more than he knows but he won't let Kayla go.
Very well done and a great duet that keeps you involved from start to finish.
Highly recommended!!

Marble Sins picks right up from the first book and doesn't disappoint! Kayla has finds herself in Vasiliy's hand. Has he finally gotten what he wanted, and will Kayla comply to his terms? This action-packed drama kept me o the edge of my seat to see how it all ends!

Amazingly beautiful!….5 Stars!
This is the conclusion to Tumir Yakov and Kayla’s Bratva romance. She was rescued from the sex trafficker who threatened to harm Tumir’s daughter who is in custody if Kayla refuses to do his bidding. I love the intrigue, thrill, suspense and exciting turn of events. This was full of hot steamy romance and a surprising twist.

A MUST READ SERIES!!
LOVED THIS STORY !! Both books are under 300 words with excellent character build up and lots of steamy scenes had me cheering for the good guys ( well less bad guy I guess) . This book had me crying at one point so grab some tissues. This is my first time reading Lisa Lovell and certainly not the last !!

What it took.
Being kidnapped twice in months, Kala did what she had to do in order to survive the horror she endured. Meeting Nakia is what was getting through the horror. She really believed he was dead. Until Nakia was telling her the messages she was receiving. She continued to encouraged Kala not to give up.

This was an awesome series. The characters Kayla and Timur were a good team. The love they had for each other is very hard to compare.

Abducted, again!
Vasya and Kayla's relationship is captive vs. psycho, with possessiveness, danger, bloody violence, terror, surprises, human trafficking and justice. Then a series of events become a happily ever after. The title of this book makes no sense to me.

Please check CW and TW before reading this one. Omg the way I ran to this one after the ending of book 1. Kayla is out through some tough times but I liked how she found ways to keep her sanity.
