One day, 22-year-old Misuzu Kanzaki suddenly finds herself in another world. She arrived in a fantasy world where there are princes, knights, and even magical beasts. She can see the status screen and use magic, so it's kind of like an RPG! Using the game knowledge she had cultivated as a gamer, she adapts to this magical world, and before she knows it, is called the "Black Healer"! This unique fantasy is now available in print!
Read up to ch. 32 /won't be continuing the series because MC is the ideal mary sue character that is perfect in every single way and the story keeps boring me to tears.
The Alternative name: In Another World, I'm Called: the Black Healer
Themes/What to know: Based on a Novel, RPG like the world, Transported to Another World, isekai
The story & My thoughts A girl, who's a bit of an otaku, gets abruptly pulled Into a fantasy-like world, where magic and monsters exist. She can use magic by chanting just like in a game, have an item box that can store anything and can see everyone’s status with a single glance. Furthermore, she has healing magic which is super rare. Since she just appeared all of sudden, some nobles and the church is suspicious of her, hence the problems start to occur.
So how was it?
Interesting, for sure, but not ALL that interesting.
Everything was so fucking easy for her. Met some really good people, protected by the prince and the knights, got a job pretty easily, found a safe place to stay easily, etc. She wasn't troubled at all with the living there, what the hell man?!!!
And what annoyed me most was that she was an OP female but instead of protecting herself, she gets protected by people around her. So why the hell she has all that power?
Making an OP female MC and putting her into a passive environment rather than making her have fights?
It sets up a lot of really interesting & compelling problems for the protagonist... and then it immediately solves them. Starts strong but turns out to be a series of very anticlimactic adventure quests by the third book. I want to give it a 4/5, but it deserves a 2/5 for being a very typical light novel isekai mary-sue story. The biggest disappointment was

when she was captured by the evil king who initially summoned her to the fantasy realm. At this point she is put in very real and very serious danger (against the scariest antagonist in the book) and is no longer able to use any magic. She starts to think her way out of the problem and almost manages to escape on her own. Great point for a burst of cleverness right? a daring escape? maybe a survival/being hunted arc where she is forced to travel in disguise, see the world, and find new characters to befriend and rely on until she can make her way back to a kingdom she knows is safe (or to the mysterious demon country that we are all dying to know more about). nope. none of that. she not only fails her escape (a perfectly valid outcome), but in that moment is saved by DEUS EX random-teleporting-knight-in-shining-armor-we-have-never-met-before. There is no consequence to her getting caught or any emotional payout. what was the point of it? One chapter shes captured, the next she gets a free ride all the way to the place she was just headed to before she got caught... and THEN we get treated to a bunch of exposition chapters that solve all the other issues too.

I feel almost angry that I was so invested in this. Its absolutely been a top three recent manga for me... but that's the risk with manga. There is always a chance the story will falter part way through (or the dreaded lack of a proper conclusion after you have invested in a dozen books)
I bought this because I wanted to support the author, and in the hope that someone would licence the novel that this manga is based on and publish it in English.
Leen Canzak is a good name for the transported-into-another-world heroine, but I would like to know her name's special origin, if there is one, or perhaps if it was merely thought up on the spot. She's adorable, logical, the right amount of emotional, and I have no doubt I'd like to emulate her persona if I were in her fictional situation. The way Leen goes about the world is still different than how I'd approach it, wanting to stay instead of return home. I pray adventure captivates Leen's heart in the future manga novels and keeps her from going home too soon; Leen Canzak's adventure has only just begun, and I'm here to the end!
Kanzaki Misuzu and grabbed by mage hands on her way home from a karoke party and dropped into a magical world. Using her general knowledge about isekai stories and game menus she learns a bit about how to cast spells and walks through the woods to a cabin. She is discovered by knights who ask her for help. She calls herself Reene Kanzack and tries to be vague about her history, but is quickly outed as a great magician with little knowledge about the world. She is dragged to the city of Corteia where she signs up for clinic rotations, a library pass, and adventure quests to survive and find a way home. * * * * *--------* * * * *--------* * * * * This is a typical isekai manga adventure. There is a summoning spell, some world building via trial and error, and a cast of ecclectic characters. There are hints of deities, evil forces, and future problems but this volume is just the setup work. The artwork is okay but not very distinctive. Calling the prince Sparkles is humorous but I also laughed a few other times. Reene seems a bit OP for the start so we shall have to see how things progress with her grinding of skills and classes.

The MC is seriously OP. Like SERIOUSLY OP. It's every otome/rpg/fantasy-loving girl would love to experience (Maybe. I mean when I thought about it, I will miss modern conveniences so much I might lead a revolution if I was ever dropped into another world. But hey magic!): get into another world, have gamer abilities complete with convenient info menu/screens and instinctive abilities to wield magic. You're also a mythical being so you have protagonist immunity.
But honestly, at this point, I don't care anymore; I am really enjoying this manga especially after that disaster reading the first volume of isekai omotenashi gohan ugh and I love the world.
Extra: A guy is 86 years old, has a 36 year-old daughter, but looks like he's in his early thirties. That's right. The more mana you have, the longer your lifespan is.
This was a fun OP isekai manga, with magic, action, adventure, and ikemen to boot! I'm curious to see where the story's world building will go, since this volume was the first one and didn't have space to answer all of my questions. In addition, 4 stars.
