A great story with a nice blend with RPG game mechanics
I said this after the first, but it bears repeating here after the 9th book: I've read books where the game mechanics took over and became what the story focused on. This series is not like that. The game mechanics blend very unobtrusively into the story. I love this series and am looking forward to digging into the next book in the series.

What a Phenomenal Series
Dare and the warriors of Bastion are fighting an losing battle against high level opponents, that have striking at will with their phasewarper who can open portals. But after struggles and the loss of his home they have located the base of their opponents. That will be in the next book that will hopefully be out soon!

One of the best so far
So I don't really type reviews but this one deserves it. So far this has had a few good adult scenes, some tear jerking moments, and I had never felt anxious while reading a book. So far I think it has been the best one in the series. I can wait for the next.

This story is full of action and adventure that will keep you entertained for hours. The people of this world will treat you to some fascinating lifestyles and the erotic ones will tickle your fancy. I am looking forward to the next story.

Good Story
The adventure continues with war on the MC’s doorstep while preparing for weddings, dealing with dwarves and slavers. In addition, there is always politics and magic. It is a good read and a good lead-in to the next volume to be released on 1 Jan.

Lots of action!
I enjoyed enjoyed the action scenarios and especially thought the pictures were a great touch. The Warren action was a little much even for fantasy, but the author has a better imagination than I do!

Outstanding writing
The author does a woman on of setting up the reality our hero's move in and creates a world full of life and value to be cherished by the readers. A truly magnificent series!
