On October 31st, 1996, while responding to a 9-1-1 call from Franky Walker, the six-year-old son of one of their own detectives, the Greymoor police discovered 13 bodies in the overgrown bushes, a crying child with his dog, and something in the house that they could only describe as a nightmare.
While the Greymoor Police Department made every attempt to withhold information when and where possible. Meanwhile, the News had already started saying this new suburban Halloween horror was the work of the Boogeyman Killer.
This case echoed one that happened in Greymoor almost exactly three years prior, one that reached a certain level of national infamy, one that left four people dead, one where the cops never got the bad guy, and one the news had dubbed "The Brassey Avenue Massacre."
Are these killers one and the same, or do the bodies found in the Walker bushes have a different story to tell?
This fabled serialized volume was never meant to be published. The author foolishly thought he could get away with making cheap copies of the ROUGH DRAFTs for friends and family. Mr. Smith was entirely too excited that he had written such a massive piece and pushed ahead blindly. He thought he could practice his publishing and formatting skills and didn't realize the chaos he was sowing for himself or his still-teething book series.
20 or fewer physical copies of this book exist. That is all there will ever be, because once Mr. Smith realized his mistake, he immediately took the book out of print.
But fear not, Dear Reader, for SPECIAL DELIVERY (ISSUES 1 - 6) will be coming to you in 2026.
