laughable

completely unserious ...I thought i was in for some quality smut at best, and instead was served this simultaneously underwritten and overwritten bedroom farce turned crime story. as the storyline became more egregious, typos began to accumulate which added to the unreality of the events. the writing style is cookie cutter in a way that borders on parody, the prose loaded with unnecessary details stiffly delivered.

How will these internal struggles play out. But, whoa! You won't expect the ending in this intriguing novella.

Now this right here is a story of thee ultimate Betrayal! Preston’s mom, Estella began to have feelings for her son’s girlfriend Liberty! Ans Liberty feels the same way! And in the midst, she flirts with his best friend too. Liberty is Preston’s everything and he very close to his mother. But the day Liberty and Estella decided to explore their connection and have an affair, his best friend Scott walks in and they ask him to join! So he does! But guess who walks in on all three of them! Preston with his other best friend Israel! So what Preston do shoot every last one including Israel and he is found not guilty for all murders!! Whew child! Talk about how to get away with murder!

Rough

The story started off slow, and the beginning didn’t really hold my attention. While I understand the author was trying to provide background, parts of it felt repetitive—especially when it came to describing one character’s job—which made those sections a bit boring.

The plot did pick up later on, which I appreciated, but unfortunately it wasn’t enough to fully change my overall impression of the book. That said, the ending was definitely a surprise. I never expected the main male character to spiral mentally and still come out on top, which added an interesting twist.

Yoooo!!! I picked up this book expecting a good forbidden story about a momma getting herself into some deep mess—but let me tell you, I was NOT prepared for what actually went down. Nothing could’ve braced me for the twists in this story, and the way everything moved so fast had me feeling like I was getting whiplash! The ending was shocking for sure, but it left me wanting so much more. I need answers, I need closure—what’s the tea??

Great Multi- genre storyline - wish it were longer❣️

This story has a sweet intro makes you think one way then BAM my mouth gaped open … a few twists & turns had me glued to it… ended way too soon. The characters stories were worth a little more developing - felt slightly rushed. Excited to read more from this author as I enjoyed it & the characters’ were intriguing!

What a lively story.
This was a great short story with spice and crime in the mix. I would have liked more of the storyline, especially at the end. It would have given the book more closer. That part was rushed for me.

Overall, this was a good, fast, steamy read for me.

Terrible

I felt like I was reading an 8th grade essay with unnecessary characters, unnecessary scenes, and over explanations to extend word counts. I would have 'DNF' but would not allow myself to be defeated by this short story.

Would not recommend if you are looking for substance or quality.

The characters were deep into their jobs. I thought that would play more into the story because of how descriptive we were during those work days.
Read if you want something spicy and quick with a twist. 😮

I felt that the plot of the book was good, but it could have been executed better. I feel like the story had a lot of holes and some parts I was just like what is this or what’s the point. I’m not mad at what Preston did, I’m gone say they deserved it but hey.🤷🏾‍♀️ the ending was my favorite part

Please considered rewriting the ending and making this book longer. The ending took this book from five stars to three. I found this author through the BRAE website.
