I am back in Shady Valley, with the Henchmen, And this time around, we find Detroit. Saving the Innocent Naïve Everleigh
despite nothing more than simple pleasantries ever transpiring between them, Detroit has been… harboring some feelings for Everleigh for sometime . obvious enough that even the guys at the clubhouse notice, but Everleigh has no clue
Detroit was a gentle giant, always watching out for Everleigh……..he , pretending to mind his own business, while actually working out at the gym mostly as an excuse to keep eye an on Everleigh, Since she had the early shift and there was some serious nutcases that would come in at Ungodly hours.
So just imagine how Detroit felt when he seen his brother {Dallas}. Come in and arrest Everleigh For drug trafficking…….. The man was completely shocked.
Detroit arranges for Simon Evertz the best criminal defense lawyer in the whole state to get her out of jail……
I love how each book seems like it is better then the last one…… omg I really wish that other author’s would gift their readers the amazing EPILOGUE’S that JG gives her readers…………. Wow I must say how this is Another great addition to this series!
Oh, dang I almost forgot to mention the fact that we have some new characters{Colter} in Shady Valley. In some old favorites. {Riff and Raff} ……… I know that Dallas isn’t a Henchmen, but if he’s anything like his brother please sign me up

This is the 5th book in the Shady Valley Henchmen MC series and ones again... 😉 my favorite 😍
Detroit is not only the hottest 🔥 member of the MC, he's also the kind of good guy, that every girl dreams about.
He's the calm, balanced guy who has a calming effect on everyone around him, even can put easily a crying baby to sleep 😀
I love the Shady Valley crew, but I waited very impatient for Detroit's story.
He was always one of the most loyal and trusted member of the MC.
He's the most sensible and rational man in the whole group.
I was always curious what his girl would be like.
How the woman he chooses must be to arouse his interest.
The answer is Everleigh.
The next door type of girl, who is all sweet, beautiful and what's most important, down to earth, honest.
The girl he's known for years but doesn't dare tell her the truth because he thinks he's not good enough for her.
He grew up in Shady Valley and even has a brother Dallas, who also lives in this town too.
However, he's a cop who doesn't necessarily love Detroit and his criminal brothers very much.
Let's just say it's a very complicated relationship.
We also got to know a few new characters, one in particular is super interesting.
Although I would like to get to know Dallas more.
I love this series and of course I love all JG books.
If you like a MC (light on the MC topic) love romances, this is a story for you.

There is always something unique in a Jessica Gadziala book. The names of the H&h Detroit and Everleigh were that.
Everleigh was such a sweet innocent soul but when she got in trouble, she has no issues trusting Detroit and the Shady Valley crew.
Always fast paced page turner.

Back in Shady Valley, the Henchmen are minding their own business… ok, that’s not strictly true, as usual. Detroit, pretending to mind his own business, while actually working out at the gym mostly as an excuse to keep an eye on the wholesome beauty who works the very early morning shift on the front desk, is there when the cops raid the place and drag poor Everleigh away in cuffs for drug trafficking. Knowing down to his bones that she’s an innocent pawn, Detroit arranges for a lawyer to get her out of county jail and – for her own protection – into the Henchmen’s club house. Since the cop in charge of the investigation is none other than Detroit’s chip-on-his-shoulder a-hole brother, things are a bit complicated. As with many of the Henchmen’s relationships, Detroit’s interest in Everleigh (and hers in him) is intense but not simple. Another gem of a book from the brilliant Jessica Gadziala.

Quickish Review
The latest entry in the Shady Valley Henchmen MC has very little to make it stand out. It’s very much in the Gadziala formula and if that’s your bag, you’ll enjoy it. Damsel in distress falls for the quiet stoic biker. It’s fine but that’s it.

Oh, Detroit. Oh, that man. That sweet, patient man.
He's a legit top-tier boyfriend.
Detroit is the dependable man. The one who looks after everyone. Feeding them. Defending them. Even being the straight shooter and setting them straight. He's an angel.
Everleigh. First, that name!. Dreamy. But the lady herself?. A freaking angel. Sweet baby Jesus, she could not be any more genuine. The kind of lady that befriends in jail and helps the one night stands the morning after. A saint. Kind, compassionate, and thoughtful.
These two are sickening in the best ways. He's the protector, and she is the nurturer. They fit together like they were never apart, and despite their worlds being very different, it did not make one ounce of difference. They were as they were always meant to be. Together, just right. Oh, and that slow burn tension there for a hot minute? Delicious.
I truly love them and their journey to HEA.
The good, the bad, the hilarious, and the unexpected. There is never a dull moment.
Plus, we get a whole slew of side characters who add their own little spice and leave me wanting more!!.

Another great addition to this series! Jessica Gadziala has continuously given us couples to fall in love with, and after every book, I have a new favorite🙄🤦🏾♀️ Detroit and Everleigh were adorable together. I know that’s hard to believe when a biker is involved, but… it's true. This story was so entertaining; although I enjoyed the love aspect, it was the action for me! I can’t wait to see who’s next!

Just the place I needed to visit! Shady Valley is quickly becoming my favorite place. Amazingly strong women and badass men to stand beside them. Loved Detroit and Everleigh!! The epilogue is dreamy!

First, I liked that she was a regular girl for once. And she had doubts about it, because to me that was a major shift in the "girl characteristics" that normally you find in such books by Jessica.
" I tried to be brave today 😍".
It was also something else to show the jail experience.
I am hoping for Simon story (although I know it will be a separate one ), as well as the new guy , and may be czar partner ( I forgot their names 😳 ).

GOOD STORY
Another brother bites the dust! It was great that Detroit got his gal - finally, as he’s wanted Everleigh for a long time. Everleigh was working at the local gym and one day was arrested for selling drugs! Detroit knew she didn’t do it as it just didn’t fit her personality or lifestyle. He hires the best criminal lawyer, posts her bail and then investigates himself. Along the way they fall deeper for each other.
Worth a read as are ALL of this author’s works!

Great read
Detroit is an enigma in the club as he is head cook and a huge tough guy. When he sees Everleigh at the gym his world tilts and he is drawn to this sweet innocent woman. When she is wrongly arrested he steps up to defend her.

You really need to buy this book.
I am emotionally, morally, physically, spiritually, psychedelically, and legally obligated as a resident of Michigan to auto one-click anything in reference to my home state…I would have anyway because it’s Jessica AND HAVE YOU SEEN THAT COVER?!?
Makes me want to drive right now to Jolly Pumpkin for some pizza and a beer (just not an IPA because I don’t hate myself. Every menu should have more sours).
So, Detroit, I love me a man that can cook! I’m a fine cook but there is something about being the only one in the house that can is exhausting. If you have a man that can cook, chain him to the house and don’t let him go!
We’ve know for a bit his brother is a police officer, putting them against each other technically on opposing sides of the law, and we know from previous books in the series about how he goes to the gym in the mornings and is not a party-boy. We didn’t however get a clear picture into his motivations to be a Henchmen or really what his dreams were until now. He’s SO sweet! But not like, sickening sweet but like that thoughtful and gives the best hugs ever sweet.
I’m happy he got his happy.
Everleigh is exactly the kind of girl from a Hallmark movie but better because she owns it and isn’t having a small town girl crisis about who she is. (Not hating, I do cheesy movies all the time during the holidays). We’ve met her in Crow, previously in the series, and now knowing more about her from her inner voice, I can say that meeting shocks the heck out of me. Not that adorable soft women can’t make hard choices for their loved ones, I’m just mildly proud of the lengths she would go for her sister. She deserves all the best and then some.
We meet a few people including one new prospect I’ve got my eye on. Colter is going to get the best happy ending, I just know it.
Lastly, shout out to Della - you are a queen amongst queens for stepping in and helping a lost soul that needed saving and you should be showered with good fortune.

I don’t leave long book reviews because I never know what to say that would actually express how I feel about a book. “Fantastic” just seems inadequate. Also, I’m a really picky reader - I need a good flow, it needs to be well written, I need to be able to get lost in the world created by the author. I love romance, and suspense, some laughs, steamy scenes, and Alpha H, and badass h. Insta lust/love, a little danger, possessive/protective. - all hit the mark for me.
All that to say, I have very few authors on my “one-click” but Jessica Gadziala is at the top. I don’t even read the synopsis. I get really excited when she has a new release and when I’m reading her books the people in my house can quite literally sit next to me calling my name and I won’t hear them because I’m lost in the world Jessica created (it’s actually a running joke in my house).
I’m jealous of people who are new to Jessica’s books because they have so much to look forward to. I reread (multiple times) but there’s something so exciting about a new JG book.
Detroit was just as awesome as every JG book before that. I wish I could explain why, it just is, it has it all. If you’ve never read her stuff before, I’m so jealous - trust me you will love it. If you’ve read JG before, well I’m pretty sure you “one-clicked” it just like me.

Detroit finds his HEA
I was sooo excited for this story. In the previous Shady Valley books, Detroit was never the party animal or man whore of the group, more of a caretaker of others. We met Everleigh as a side character in a previous book when she is looking out for her sister.
Detroit has been fighting his attraction to Everleigh since they first met but when he witnesses an injustice, it finally shoves him in to action, at first to right a wrong, but we know how these guys can't resist their ladies long!
Everleigh is shoved in to the deep end of the underworld of Shady Valley with no idea what to do.
This book has it all, interesting back story, family issues, awesome side characters including a new prospect, cute animals, suspense, hot romance with a protective alpha hero, a heroine who fights to get back to her found family AND a swooon-worthy HEA. What more could you possibly be after!
Only issue is now I want ALL the stories! As always, Jessica provides a excellent escape from real life with our favourite biker club. Enjoy!

Detriot is a great leading man. He’s protective, kind and always willing to help those he cares about. Detroit is not a manwhore like some of the other single guys in the club, and has been looking for that one special woman to settle down with to start a family. He likes Everleigh but believes she’s too good for him and they’ll never become a couple.
We met Everleigh in Crow’s book. She was looking out for her sister so we already knew she was a sweetheart and great person. Everleigh works at the gym that Detroit goes to and is there when she needs him the most.
Detroit and Everleigh are a cute couple! It takes them a minute to both open their eyes and see what everyone around them already does. I enjoy all the other Henchmen and am looking forward to each of their stories. Colter is a great addition to the Club and needs himself a very special woman.

Sometimes it’s been too long between Jessica Gadziala books that I forget how they just hit right. Like sunshine on a cold day, or the perfect cup of coffee or perfect fitting pair of jeans, just that good. This one didn’t disappoint either. All the same perfect ingredients to make it unputdownable and delicious. Loved Detroit and Everleigh. Can’t wait for the next one.

Knowing how innocent she is Detroit sets out to prove she didn’t do what she is accused of. Lots of sweetness and ro with some of these guys in the MC. One of my favorites so far. Just love the innocence and connection these two have.

This is another winner in the Henchmen MC saga. This time we are visiting with the Shah Valley crew. Detroit is a great guy and it is so good to see him find his HEA with Everleigh. Though not necessarily a "bad-a$$" she is still a strong character that is easy to love. I'm looking forward to the next book be it a part of Shady Valley, Golden Glades or Navesink Bank.

I have yet to find a JG book that I haven’t absolutely loved, but this is one of my new favorites. As a Taylor Swift loving, pink-obsessed, “basic” girly girl, I found myself completely relating to Everleigh. I loved her relationship with Detroit and how they felt so comfortable around each other and remained true to themselves. They are such a great match and I loved everything about this book!

Detroit & Everleigh were absolute perfection. Two sweet, kind souls destined to find each other. I LOVED their story and the development of their relationship. As always, there are some twists and turns that will keep you burning through the pages and a fictional town full of wonderful characters to obsess over. SO GOOD❣️

You literally cannot help but fall in love with the characters of a JG story. She has the ability to make every story unique and special and H.O.T!!
Everleigh was a sweetheart and Detroit was definitely the hero to help her.

Sweetness overload!
This couple is too darn cute. I love that the h. She was so normal and a swifty. The H and his club bros are always a good time to read about. The mystery was good and kept me guessing. And the epilogue was everything.

Been waiting on this one..

Soft and sweet
Everleigh is all things soft and sweet and though the MC boys are usually tough on the outside with a sometimes deeply hidden inner soft, Detroit is not. He's everything sweet and thoughtful and the two pair so well together it's so obvious meant to be.
