Thank you Bridget for giving me a chance to read this arc!

Chase is a part of the pitstop series and once again we jump into the world of Valentina, Gabriel, Adrien and all their friends/enemies. With this book we get 3 POVs and we get to know every character on an even deeper level. This series is great for when you just got into f1 and want to dip your toes into this sports romance genre

This book is a goddamn emotional rollercoaster!! I went from sad to angry to happy in the span of just a couple of chapters. Bridget has once again outdone herself with this book.

Tropes:
🏎️ f1 romance
🏁 found family
🏎️ second chance
🏁 soulmates
🏎️ some spice 😉
🏁 lots of groveling
🏎️ mental health rep
🏁 “mon tournesol”

Bridget I absolutely love this book and will love every book you write. (Adriens book hint hint)

5⭐

So when Bridget first announced the Rush sequel I was like, "Oh, alright, so we finally get to find out what the HECK Gabriel is gonna do about crushing Val's hopes underfoot."

I got that and SO SO much more out of Chase, let me tell you...

Chase sees Val as a reserve driver, and, you know, there's Gabriel, trying to prove to her that no one means more to him than HER (his sunflower xoxo) and it is CHEF'S KISS. The grand gestures and groveling are as they should be--I mean, she's not going to be easy to win back! And these two are everything I want and more, the most Bollywood romance, the power couple on and off the track.

I do have to say, however, this book got me invested in the subplots and side characters more than anything else. I am an Adrian Romana fangirl first and foremost. You will find me in the stands with a massive cutout of Adrian's face. I have no shame. So not just Adrian, but the plotlines following James, Nicolette and Domi, and the like, these are what really grabbed my attention. They rounded out the romance with a sprinkle of hashtag-drama which was exactly what I needed!

NOT TO MENTION THE WAY MY HEART EXPERIENCED PALPITATIONS IN THAT LAST TENTH OR SO. I WAS SCREAMING WITH FIVE MINUTES TILL MY LECTURE BEGAN. I HAVE A FRIEND WHO WITNESSED THIS AND WILL ATTEST TO MY INSANITY OVER THIS BOOK. THERE WAS PERSONAL STAKE IN THAT ENDING.

The few gripes I did have were just the way some things were written. There was just a lot going on at times between all the subplots and that occasionally got hard to keep track of- thought it was nothing at all that took away from the charm of this novel and its characters.

Regardless Bridget pulls the Rush universe she gave us so beautifully (QUEEN) in Parts One and Two of the book that sent me into a state of hysteria, together almost effortlessly. I couldn't think of any better way to do these characters justice in the end, and as I got to that last page I am pretty sure I had TEARS in my eyes.

I cannot WAIT to see what Bridget has in store for us next (and I beg of her, more Adrian Romana).

Thank you to Bridget for sending me an eARC, she is the absolute sweetest and the fact that she replied to all my dms of asking her stuff and me reacting to the story made this experience even better 🩷

This review is based on my own opinions.

Please make sure you've read the trigger warnings for this book:
Grief, loss, miscarriage, child abandonment, mild violence, explicit sex scenes and vulgar language.

"She’s my pitstop, and without her, I’ve been racing without an end in sight." ❤️

Chase has been an amazing third book in the series, it takes us further in the story of Val and Gabriel and all their friends and family and it had a perfect mix between romance, drama, happiness and spicy scenes.

It's been a while since I've read a book with almost 500 pages but this one had me reading it every free moment.

All of the characters are so heartwarming but I've had a soft spot for James since Rush 1 so I was very happy that he got his own little chapters throughout the book and that he got the happy ending he deserved after all the pain he had to go through.

I'm trying not to spoil anything BUT I WAS YELLING AT THE END OF CHAPTER 77, AND CRYING AT THE BEGINNING OF CHAPTER 79.
I absolutely did not expect that so Bridget did a wonderfull job on the plottwists.

“Hey, Adrian?” I say after a moment of silence between us. “I’d still like it if you came to bother me in the middle of the night so we can have deep conversations while playing cards.” His features brighten at my words. “Deal.”
I think this part was one of my favourites because it was so cute and all my feels omgg 🥹🥹🥹

And omygosh that epilogue was the cutest, it made me soooo happy 🥹

I can not wait to read more of her books in the future 🥰

ARC REVIEW

Rating ♾️
Spice 🥵🥵🥵

My love for F1 started with Lauren Asher books like many of us but Rush & now Chase have set the standards.

I love the books where not only the romance between the characters but the story keeps you connected. Chase was the perfect way to end the story of Gabriel and Valentina.

Soulmate Romance is something that makes me giggle like a school girl and oh god this book, if felt like the courtship had started again. The efforts, the grovelling and also the confessions made me smile and cry.

This book kept me invested in not only Gabriel’s and Valentina’s story but also all the other characters. Adrian was such a vibe throughout and I need more of him STAT <3

“You and racing are the only happiness I need in my life. I intend to keep you both forever.”

I have never read a thick book as fast I read Chase because I wanted to see how their story turned out to be.

Last 4 chapters I wanted to like scream at Bridget no kidding!! But I controlled myself. I am proud of it ok!!

And oh god the letters and notes. Gabriel is the ambassador of old school love and the standards he set for me to look up to in other fictional characters when they grovel are HIGH!!

I am sad that their story ended but I await for what’s next in store by Bridget.

I am so proud to say that she is my friend and my auto but author too <3

First of all, thank you so much for sending me the ARC Bridget!

So, this book was a rollercoaster of emotions for me. Especially chapters 77 and 78, I was so anxious with that cliffhanger, AND then chapter 79 just stopped my heart for a second.
Everything was perfect for my beloved Valentina and Gabriel! Throughout the series, they've had their ups and downs, but with this, the story is finally coming to an end.
Don't get me started on Adrian being the cutest and scariest big brother ever. Also, I'm glad that by the end, Gabriel and Adrian's bond became stronger.
The series is easy to read, gets really deep into Formula 1, and makes it, dare I say it, a lot more interesting because it feels like a behind the scenes. The smut - perfect and the characters are very well written.

Definitely give it a read! <3

4.5 stars, beta read for Bridget <3

This was phenomenal, the perfect end to Val and Gabriel's story. Bridget's writing has come on so much, it's almost unrecognisable.
Chase was emotional, hilarious and heart warming. The connection I have with these characters is unbelievable.

She nearly got me at the end oh my god i thought I was going to throw up. I can't believe the emotions this book got from me! It shows just how much I love this found family.

Bridget, I am so proud of you. Thank you so much for letting me be involved in this process.

Also, I have begged her to write me in as Adrian's love interest but sadly it's not happening. Worth a try though.

"My pitstop."

What a way to wrap up their love story.

Chase Part One and Two is the sequel to Rush Part One and Two, and is the end of Gabriel and Valentina's love story. It is book 4 in the Pitstop series, however you only need to read Rush to read this. When Gabriel left Valentina, he thought he was doing the right thing by her. Not being able to put her first was not an option for him. But now he knows he has to do whatever he can to win her back. However between Valentina training after getting her dream of a guranteed seat as a Formula One driver next season, mysterious threats telling her she doesn't belong and changing dynamics in their found family, can they pull through and chase down their happily ever after.

Gabriel and Valentina may be my favourite fictional couple of all time and that really is saying somthing. I love the dynamic between them, they way they are able to communicate without needing to actually say anything, and they way they are able to sense what the other need. Every time they stopped and thought about the other, and how much they loved each other and how they couldn't wait to spend the rest of their lives together, it made my heart melt. They have the kind of love that people dream of. My favourite thing about both of them was how they were able to be so vulnerable with each other, and I just always love reading about happy healthy romances where they are able to propely communicate and work to make the relationship work.

I really love the side characters in this whole series, but what was really interesting in this book were the few chapters spent in James' head. It was something unexpected but it was so interesting, adding another perspective. I genuinely think he is one of the more interesting side characters, and I really enjoyed how he was able to make me think 'aw he's actually really sweet' to 'dammit James why!' in the space of about 2 pages. But given some of the things that happened in this book, I really enjoyed seeing it from his perspective, and I love the character development between him and Gabriel.

Valentina may officially be my favourite Romana. There is something about how strong she is as a character that to me she's relly inspiring. To be able to love fiercely, forgive when necessary, and go for her dream time after time no matter how many setbacks she's given is the sort of thing I look up to. Bridget really said it best when she said "Not only can I relate to the main character, but I wish I was as badass as her."

I really enjoyed the mystery of the note, and guessed multiple different people it could have been in my head, to the point I was telling myself it could be this person because of this but I don't think it could be this person because of this. In one particular late night reading session I made a note saying 'the mystery is mysterious and I love it.' I kept telling myself after the intial reveal that it seemed like there was something else coming because of the note, and wow did Bridget deliver. My heart was in my throat, and I had to keep reminding myslef to breathe.

This book really highlights whats important about family both blood and biological, and the bonds between the main characters felt so special in thier own ways. One thing I have loved thoughout the series is how it doesn't matter which book the characters appear in, they are always consistent in who they are and how they interact which is something I personally love, but I think is underrated.

This is the last book for me to read in the Pitstop series (until The Last Championship and Adrian and Nevaeh book two which I am so excited for I need them in my life like yesterday) and I can't believe I've read them all (so far). I've really grown to love these characters and I'm sad to leave them behind. Every book in the series just kept getting better, and everything about this book was perfection to me, such an easy 5 star for me.

Attention to all sports romance girlies, especially my f1 fans.
Bridget has released another book!

When I tell you I was so excited for this book, I truly mean it! I read Rush last vear and fell in love with Valentina and Gabriel.
If an emotional roller coaster had a poster, this book could be front and center. I have been rooting for this couple so hard since day one and seeing the grand gestures and the amount of groveling this man did (which was a lot) was top tier. I had to take a few breaks because it did have me staring at the ceiling for a couple of scenes. One of the tropes is Found Family and it was so well written it felt like a big hug. They all have each other's backs, and you can feel the love they have for each other. I also want to talk about the mental health rep because it was so present, and it meant a lot to see characters also having to deal with the struggles.

Let's talk about the subplot because not only did she made me love the main characters even more, which I thought wasn't possible, but I also adore the side characters. I would go to war for any and all these characters. Chapters 50-80 were a wild ride! I could write so much about my love for this book, but I think it's better if you read it, and we can talk about how good it is. Also, the layout and cover are so cute, especially the chapter headings. This was such a thick book and I didn't even notice.

Bridget, you did it again, and I can't wait to see what you have in store next! Chase is Out Now on KU and paperback!
Please check trigger warnings and make sure to read Rush before Chase!

Chase: Part One & Two by @bridgetl.rose
☆☆☆☆☆

Chase is the final book of Valentina and Gabriel's story, and part of the Pit stop series. You need to read these books in order, and please check your TW's as these books deal with some heavy issues.

'𝐖𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧’𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐚 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤, 𝐧𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐝𝐨'

What a perfect ending for a perfect couple. This however, is not without its trials and tribulations. There were so many times during this book that I couldn't possibly see how Val and Gabe were going to get their happy ever after, but boy did Bridget pull through.

The love, the warmth and the reassurance that the main characters not only give eachother, but the way it made me feel loved, warm and reassured was just everything. The Pit Stop series is the DEFINITION of the found family trope, which thanks to Bridget has become one of my favourite tropes.

This series, although not finished, will forever hold the biggest part of my heart. I found an F1 series that I love, I've found Bridget who is such a beautiful soul, oh and more books to add to my forever overfilled bookshelves.

This part of the series has been a roller coaster of emotions, I've been frustrated, happy, mad (at bridget), cried tears of laughter, of joy and of sadness. I will forever hold a light for Gabriel and Valentina.

Im so grateful to Bridget asking me to beta read this!
I was so happy to be back with Val and Gabe, they will forever be my number ones.
Gabe has a lot of grovelling to do especially with how rush part 2 ended, Bridget didn’t rush anything at all and I was happy with what Gabe done.
Val my girl wow she’s so freaking strong with everything she’s gone through/ going through I just wanna give her a massive hug and tell her everything will be alright.
Seeing all the secondary characters again like Adrian and James made my heart so happy and im so excited for their books.
There’s a certain part in part two omg when I tell you I nearly threw my laptop im not exaggerating I was straight in Bridget’s DM’s and I was in shock.
The ending wow I cried it was everything and more I was sooo happy and content it was just perfect!
Rush and chase has been such a fun world to enter with Val and Gabe for the start of the pitstop series and im excited to see where this world continues especially with jump start apart of this aswell.
BRIDGET you are incredible and im so proud of you, don’t let anyone tell you different! the world you’re creating has me so invested and I wish I could just jump into your books.

Chase : Part one and Two by Bridget L. Rose

I was so drawn into this book when I started it and didn’t want to put it down. When I read Rush earlier this year I loved it so when Bridget announced that Chase was coming out I knew I was gonna need to read it immediately.

Thank you Bridget for providing me with an ARC of Chase : Part One and Two.

Both Gabriel and Valentina have had their ups and downs, but I think that’s what made me love the two of them even more.

Bridget has a unique writing style that is easy to read which makes reading her books all the more enjoyable.

I’m really hoping that we get a book for Adrian because I am definitely an Adrian fan girl.

I absolutely love watching F1 on race weekends and this is the perfect book to read when there is no F1 to watch. And is most definitely a book to add to your TBR if you love a good F1 romance.

Thank you once again Bridget for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

4.5!!!✨
It was so enjoyable to have Gabriel and Valentina’s story broken up into parts between Rush and Chase because they truly deserved the depth this story went into.

I was SAT for the drama between James, the races, the relationship between Val and Gabriel, all of it had me practically vibrating in my seat waiting to find out what happened next.

I also loved the deeper things, the trauma of the characters and how it affects them and their relationships, their passions, dreams and fears, I really felt like I was inside of their head experiencing these emotions with them. I have teared up or cried reading every single book in this series (this is a good thing I promise!) because Bridget truly knows how to write characters that you feel so connected to, or ones that you hate with a burning passion and rightfully so.

I am loving every second of this series and I cannot express how excited I am to read Reserved and get inside Adrian’s head!!!

I have had the pleasure of working with Bridget on now 3 books including chase part 1&2 and I can confidently say this book is the best book I've read by her so far. I have felt every single emotion that these characters have whether it was heartbreak, happiness, grief, despair, sadness, etc.. i felt every single one of them as if I was in there with them. The quotes in this book are also absolutely stunningly written and so beautiful and Bridge portrays grief and loss so well, it made me sob multiple times😭 Now I am gonna keep this review spoiler free but jst know that GABRIEL BIENCHARI HAS MY WHOLE HEART, BODY, AND SOUL. Everyone go read rush part 1&2 so u can enjoy this masterpiece of a book once it comes out TOMORROWWWWWWW❤️❤️❤️

In the famous words of Gennaro Gattuso: “sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe shit”

LOVED the concept of “love you the same”, LOVED some of the quotes in this book, LOVED the way grief is showcased, very real very raw. But LORD there were so many other things I hated. Plot holes galore and like so many different storylines introduced towards the end… and because they were introduced towards the end, they had to be resolved very quick and anticlimactic manner. Many times I questioned why I kept reading it, but Gabriel Biancheri could be an amazing salesperson with that sweet talk, let me tell you.

Since sometimes it was a 5 star read, sometimes I wanted to throw my kindle across the room in frustration, we are landing right in the middle at 3 stars! I don’t know if I will be reading the rest of the series though.

“I love you more than the amount of stars there are in the universe, and unlike them, my love for you will never extinguish. Death is scary, but it is a lot less so when you have found the person you know you want to spend the rest of your life with. Even in death, we will find each other.”

Gabriel and Val’s story is other worldly. I loved this book with my whole heart and the layers and story were just fantastic.
Gabriel sets the standard of never settling for less than your worth.

Mon tournesol🌼

Thank you Bridget for this phenomenal book. I can’t wait to see what the rest of the series has to offer!

Turned on The Alchemy and put it on repeat before I read the final few chapters;

I never knew I could love a couple as much as I love Adrian and Neveah but of course, it's the sunflower and her sun.

They made me cry, they made me laugh, they scared the living shit out of me and they made me root for me.

I held off reading Valentina and Gabriel's story because it just didn't feel like the right time (I'm weird, I know), but I'm glad I held off reading until I started reading.

Love like this happen happens every lifetimes and may this love find everyone who deserved it.

Sunflower and her Sun, I love you guys🩷

I had the honor to be an arc-reader again. I have been following Bridget since the beginning and absolutely loved both parts of Rush. So, when I had the opportunity to read and review the last book about Valentina and Gabriel, I jumped to the chance.

There will be Chase spoilers, as well as spoilers about her other books. I do recommend reading them all in the right order (check her Instagram) before reading Chase.

That said, boy, I loved this book even more than Rush. I would say even more than Jump-Start, but nothing van beat an enemies to lovers

This was such a lovely story. The characters ar such sweethearts that I became incredibly invested in their lives. It has so many ups and downs, so many moments you just want to bottle up and reread, but also so many moments where I either audibly gasped, laughed or nearly cried. It also gave me a few small heart attacks. I read this book so fast and at every moment in time wished there was more of it.

there are no words to express how happy I was to be reunited with these two characters.

As soon as I finished Rush, I knew I needed to go back to them, and I think now they have a definite place in my heart.

If you loved Rush, Chase is the perfect book to close Valentina & Gabriel’s chapter. Bridget did an amazing job, and put Gabriel at the top of my book boyfriends list

Part one of this book made me into an emotional wreak of a human. I picture myself as the Fm and I felt her pain as she was crush when he left her to find his family

Part 2 of the book he literally had to work hard to get her back, which was a nice soothing balm kinda way. Like they both loved each other. But they had to work things out.

Hea is the best ending for them

5 STARS HANDS DOWN

// ARC READ //

I have to say, i didn’t read Rush until the summer, but loving Gab’s and Val’s story i was gutted when i finished it. I followed Bridget and saw that she announced the Rush sequel. I was beyond excited, i was on the edge of my seat with that ending. Finally we get to find out whether Gabriel’s pleading would be enough for Val…

Firstly can i just say I LOVE ADRIAN!! I WANT MORE OF HIM!!

I didn’t just get that, Chase gave me a lot more than just that. The side characters and sub-plots were so gripping. I am such an Adrian fan girl, I’m as much of a fan girl of his as i am to Charles. The side plot lines were breathtaking, these made the book so so exciting.

So so much was going on at some points in the story, but that definitely doesn’t take away from this amazing book, it just added to the tension and the drama.

Rush was a book I’d never read anything like beforehand. The feelings of anxiety, hysteria plus tears with the ending. The characters in this book were given what they deserve. Emotional. That’s all i can say from that ending. It had me SOBBING. The cutest ending imaginable.

One quote which had me was:
“She’s my pit stop, and without here I’ve been racing without an end in sight.” ❤️

Bridget, you are so talented and i can’t wait to see what next you have planned. If it’s half as good as this, everyone will absolutely love it. (I need more of Adrian pls).

[ARC REVIEW]

I'm still a little shy about reviews, but the one I bring to you today is very important.
Today I bring you a review of an ARC that I had the pleasure of receiving
Its launch is tomorrow as time passes quickly
For those who like f1 this book is for you
_Chase by Bridget L.Rose_
I can't say much because it's a small review before its release.
I was enchanted from beginning to end, I'm very addicted to f1 books and finding one that meets my expectations is simply incredible and wonderful.
This book tells us the story of a female driver, which in today's world of F1 is starting to happen more than before.
This is the story of Valentina and Gabriel
This book made me laugh, it made me happy and I had moments where I cried because of so much emotion it brought me.
I hope you can give their story and the wonderful writing of my beloved friend, Bridget, a chance and get to know these incredible characters tomorrow on their release date

i know i just posted my review of the first book in this duo of gabriel and valentina’s story but i immediately started the second last night and read until my eyes forced me to sleep and finished early this afternoon.

a million out of five once again for the pure artistry bridget gives with her words. this book had me on an emotional rollercoaster the entirety of it. sad, happy, angry, confused, ALL OF IT. chapter 77-79 suing for emotional damage RIGHT NOW. i was HOLLERING. bridget handles touch subjects so well and plays special attention to mental health representation in the best way.

not only do you fall more in love with our FMC and MMC with this book but you become more and more obsessed with our side characters, Adrian, James, Leonard, and Cameron. the best part of her pitstop series is that they can be read as standalones if you so wish. i went a bit out of order — i read jumpstart before jumping into reserved because…lando norris inspired.

i once again, urge everyone to read this series if you enjoy F1 or even just like sports romance novels because this series will not disappoint.

i am gnawing at the bars of my enclosure waiting for diffuse to come out so i can obsess over that.
