Provision of adequate water supply, sanitation, hygiene and waste management in schools has a number of positive effects. The study focuses on children because disease related to water, sanitation and hygiene are the leading cause of mortality and morbidity among children. The findings included the following percentage of level of stress among higher secondary teachers. 1. 13% of the respondents had a good knowledge 2. 35 % of respondents had a average knowledge 3. 52 % of respondents had a poor knowledge related to water, sanitation and hygiene. 4. Knowledge regarding the water, sanitation and hygiene is poor in the accessed areas
