There are many stories in the Bible that teach a spiritual lesson. However, there is one big story that needs to be taught that starts with the Book of Genesis and ends with the Book of Revelation. This story is about the fall and restoration of God's creation on earth. It describes why we are where we are today and what the future has in-store for us.
Non-believers can make reasonable predictions about future events based on patterns of past occurrences, but Christians who believe in the Bible are in a different situation. Although they cannot know everything about the future, God does know, and He has told them in the Book of Revelation.
Revelation is a prophetic book based on the end times. As “the Revelation of Jesus Christ,” this book is sometimes called the Apocalypse, which in Greek means a revelation, uncovering, or unveiling of that which is hidden.
There are many prophecies in Revelation that are symbolic, but are still meant to be taken literally. Just like the prophecies in the Old Testament were to be taken literally. As we have seen from the fulfilled prophecies in the Old Testament, nothing has failed to be fulfilled in time. So, we can believe with confidence that the scriptures that foretell the future will eventually happen to the very second of God’s plan.
The Battle of Armageddon is the most popular battle in history and it has not even been fought yet. The Battle of Armageddon refers to the final war between human governments and God. These governments and their supporters oppose God even now by refusing to submit to His leadership.

I absolutely loved this book. It was incredibly insightful and thought-provoking. The author's thorough research and analysis provided a fresh perspective on these topics. The writing style was engaging and easy to follow, making it accessible to both religious and non-religious readers. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in exploring the connections between the Bible and the end of the world. It's definitely a 5-star read!
This book was of particular interest to me because it analyzes the last book of the Bible, which is the book of Revelation. It is the only book in the Bible that involves extensive prophecy which has not yet been fulfilled, and I have always had a difficult time trying to grasp at its meaning. The author begins at the beginning of the book of Revelation, and he analyzes it slowly and with great detail. The author continually stresses the importance of repentance as well as acceptance of Jesus Christ as your own personal Saviour. The book shows God's continual protection toward His Church. It's clear that Christianity is at odds with all other religions who do not recognize Jesus as their God. I liked the way he explained the three different viewpoints of when Jesus will come to take His Church out of the world: Pre-Tribulation, Mid-Tribulation or Post-Tribulation. The author is certainly very well-versed with the Bible, and he makes an excellent teacher. I highly recommend this book to serious students of the Bible who are trying to get a handle on unfulfilled prophecy.
This book is amazing. If you want to know more about the end times, then you'll love this book. I can see the truth of what is written in this book. I have learned a lot of things while reading it. The scripture references I read, made sense to me now of what the scripture meant. The way the information is broken down and the way everything is written was very easy for me to understand. I have truly been enlightened with the explanations and scripture references in this book. Will definitely read again.
For anyone who does Bible studies, I would think this book would make a great study ...Just sayin'... It is a very well done, put together book that explains prophecies and more. Very interesting stuff! You can tell a lot of research and time was put into this book.
A well researched, thought provoking read. While the subject of the book of Revelations has been highly debated amongst many theologians, the author does an excellent job in presenting his case for his interpretations. In the current world climate of tensions going on between Israel and the Palestinian people, the author provides a scripture time travel ride through the books of the Bible to point towards what he believes is the promised future of the anti-Christ, the Beast, and the coming tribulation... The common ground all Christians can find when reading this book and be encouraged by is that the author asks that whether you agree or disagree with him on his interpretations, you "focus on what is the most important fact...Jesus is coming--Be Ready."
This isn't the sort of book I usually read, but I'm so glad I picked this up.
This is the most in-depth analysis of Revelation that I've ever read (or watched!). Lessor provides quotations to back up all his points; it's clear that he did his research. Although the book is decently long and packed with information, it felt like such a quick read. Lessor is a masterful storyteller with the ability to keep his readers enthralled. He writes with such a unique, powerful voice. By the end, I felt like I learned so much.
Especially concerning recent events (😬), I say that this book is a must-read.
The book is very controversial but I cannot deny any of it. It is all backed up by scripture. It is a brilliant interpretation of the Book of Revelation. As you read through the book, you can see how everything is unfolding in our current world today. This book is like a crystal ball and can be very overwhelming at times. Jon Lessor has done his research. Some people may not agree with his interpretation, but you will not be able to prove any of his research as incorrect. He appears to have backed up all his information with scripture. You should not miss out on reading this book, both Christians and Non-Christians alike.
This was a hard book to get through, but well worth reading. The Big Story being referred to is Revelation. I gained a much deeper understanding of one of the hardest books in the Bible to understand. Passages were explained in plain language with references to the prophecies about the passage in both the Old and New Testiments. Many passages were repeated throughout the chapters. This is a book I will definitely read again, with my Bible and concordance beside me to dig deeper to verify and validate the author's understanding. It's a lot of information to digest, but if you want to understand Revelation, it's a great place to start. #GoodreadsGiveaways
The Big Story: According to the Bible is filled with quotes from the Bible and the author's explanations about those quotes about Armageddon. It explains that the Jews are the real ****** of Babylon and at the end of times, they will follow Jesus and wage war on Christians.
"During the first half of tribulation, Christians will mostly be killed, then after the Jewish nation converts to Jesus, they will 'wage war' on both the remaining Christians and Jews."
This book is not what I thought it would be. Some people might like it.
This is by far the best depiction of the book of Revelation I've read! Jon Lessor is definitely very knowledgable on the topic, and his consistent reference to Bible scripture makes this a must-read for anyone interested in learning more about the end times according to the Bible. While this is not a book you can read in a few days, it is one full of Biblical knowledge from a thorough perspective. I applaud Mr. Lessor for a job well done on a topic.
I received this book as a Goodreads Giveaway and this is my true rating on this book.
Well researched and well written book which depicts the beginning of time to the end of times. Doesn't matter if your HIndu, Christian, Muslim, Jew or any other religious person, this book will interest you right to the end. It shows you the prophecies that have already proven right and those major prophecies yet to come. Also gives you goosebumps and makes you conscious of your creator.
Really recommend you to read "The Big Story" by Jon Lessor.
Right from the start, this book had me asking questions and making me think twice about so many of the topics that it cover. The author has obviously put in lots of dedicated time and research, seamlessly putting together a work that is not only stimulating, but also easy to follow.
It has definitely piqued my curiosity about some of the areas of the Bible that are lesser known to me, and has pushed me to research deeper into these areas.

I feel I am well versed in the bible but this book opened my eyes to new information that I did not know about. Jon did a lot of research prior to writing this book and referenced the bible throughout the book. I was very impressed by Jon's knowledge of Revelations. If you are interested in increasing your knowledge of the bible then this book is for you.
If you have interest in learning more about the Bible, this is the book for you. It was very thought provoking and started some good conversations with my husband and me. It is interesting to see how people can read the same thing and take something different out of it, this book made me realize that is huge when reading scriptures. Great job Jon Lessor!
This book is a comprehensive elucidation of the Revelation of the Bible. I am impressed by the author’s knowledge of the history and the Bible. I have read the Bible many times and heard preaches about the Revelation. But I have never had such a clear picture of it as described in this book.
This is an easy read, focused on the book of Revelation. However, it took a long time to read because I needed to stop and look at a map, stop and read references, stop and ask Google questions, and stop to wipe away tears. This e-book, received from Goodreads, definitely improves understanding and encourages study. Highly recommend!
Incredibly moving and unforgettable. The author's knowledge of the Bible is astounding. It made me rethink about the Bible and how it relates to my life today. Whilst there were several tetchings of note and certainly a lot of wisdom that went into this book, it ends on a very positive, life affirming lesson.
I have never heard of this interpretation before. An incredible insight and all backed up with scripture. An easy read but at the same time an upsetting one. The idea of what our future brings is nothing less than scary. Jon Lessor has an incredible insight on the Bible and has done an incredible job bringing the future to light. 100 Stars!
Jon does a great job of laying out the Bible, its predictions and prophecies, applying it to modern times. This is simply put a fascinating read that will grab your attention and keep you on the edge of your seat page by page. highly recommend for both biblical novice and scholar alike.

Well written. The author's writing is clear and insightful. Even though I have a master's degree in Biblical studies, I learned something valuable from reading this book.
As a science fiction enthusiast, the Book of Revelations has always been fascinating to me, what with the depictions of the rapture, the four horsemen as well as the now meme-worthy biblically accurate angels. This book has plenty of theories as to how the end of times might play out and makes for an interesting read!

Learn about: 1. Who is the Antichrist? 2. Who is the Whore of Babylon? (hint: it's not Rome) 3. When will World War 3 start? 4. And much...much more.
