The book Serial Retribution is written about the life of Doug Larson, a young man who had been leading a simple and blissful life. Doug was an exceptionally bright kid in high school, which earned him a scholarship to a great University. He found love and married the woman of his dreams, and together they had a beautiful baby boy. Doug had achieved all that he desired. He was basically living a life anyone would wish for. However, on his son's fifth birthday, tragedy struck, and his world came crashing down. From that moment onward, his once perfect life became a living nightmare. In the absence of the people he cherished the most, all he could feel was a void and a need for retribution. This drove him to set aside his humanity and the support of his family, as he devises a plan to destroy the people responsible for his misery, disregarding the consequences his actions may hold.

Opinion:
The book is an exceptional piece with a very good storyline. The author skillfully conveys the emotions of the characters to the readers. The readers can feel the emptiness and anger that Doug experiences, and we can sympathize with him because we feel the sympathy his loved ones felt for him. Additionally, the author effectively portrays the panic that engulfed Doug's brother, Ralph Larson, as he pursues Doug, fearing the actions Doug might take. My impression of Doug Larson was that he had become so used to a life of perfection that he failed to understand the concept that unexpected events can occur at any moment. The book is a roller coaster of emotions, with interconnected lives and a surprising plot twist. It is definitely an enjoyable read.
