Elias Bristol. Vincenzo Ricci. Gannon Hayes.
Three vampires with one goal in mind: me.

I’ve dedicated the year since my father’s death to learning how to slay vampires. Specifically, the monster who could have saved him but didn’t. With one of their own training me, I might stand half a chance.

But each training class with Vinny brings us closer together, and things go from complicated to what the actual f*ck when my ex shows up after ghosting me after my father’s funeral and, sure enough, Gannon is now a vampire—with a newfound thirst for my blood.

And sure, two vamps are a lot to handle, but when the Vampire King returns and I fail to kill him even after months of training, my love triangle becomes a freaky foursome—and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t enjoying myself thoroughly.

Official Blurb:

Three vampires and me.

One in my head. Another in my bed. And the third on his knees.

I expected my revenge plot against the vampire king who forced my father into a blood bond to culminate in a fight that I walked away from and he succumbed to. I did not expect that when I finally faced Elias Bristol, I would be completely fascinated by him—or that he would have full access to my mind. And I definitely didn’t anticipate that he’d be quite so taken by me.

But I’m already in way over my head with two vampires, thank you very much; I couldn’t possibly add a third. With Vinny warming my bed each night and my ex-boyfriend Gannon trying to get back into my life, my hands are full.

But the return of the vampire king has set things into motion none of us expected, and joining forces with three vampire suitors might be the only way I’ll survive the impending war.

Guess a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do.

So, I need the next book asap!! This is not a drill!

This was what I hoped "A Bond Beyond Blood" would be. "The Butcher's Daughter" teased the story and "A Bond Beyond Blood" gave me what I needed. Thank you.

I liked the characters and the way their relationships unfolded. I really appreciated the realism of the reverse harem - the jealousy, the competition, the unspoken words. It wasn't just a bunch of guys wanting a girl; it was a complex web of emotions and desires. I appreciated the honesty and the way they acutally talked about this dynamic.

But it was too short. The fast pacing made me feel like it were merely 100 pages I read. It felt like I was just getting started. So, Jessalyn, I demand more.

Plot: 4/5 • Smut: 3.5/5 ———> Jackie has the hearts of her new vampire boyfriend who was training her to defeat the one she shares a bloom bond with, and her ex boyfriend turned second boyfriend. (also a vampire) And then there’s the vampire king who’s blood flows through Jackie. I want to know if she steals his heart too, but this ends on a cliffy. Smut was good. No M|M though.

Three vampires, one mortal, and enough tension to power a thousand fanfic spin-offs. A Bond Beyond Blood is a whirlwind of bloodlust, revenge, and, well, literal lust. J. Jameson serves up a spicy paranormal romance that doesn’t hold back, delivering equal parts smolder, sass, and “Did she really just say that?” moments.

Let’s talk about our heroine: she’s bold, vengeful, and juggling more supernatural suitors than a vampire-themed Bachelor. The vampire king Elias, who somehow gains both access to her thoughts and her attention, is dangerously charismatic. Then there’s Vinny, her resident bed-warmer with a vibe so sultry it should come with a warning label, and Gannon, the ex trying to worm his way back in—classic “why are you here?” energy.

The revenge plot against Elias starts with fiery determination but quickly spirals into a messy cocktail of mutual fascination and reluctant teamwork. (Relatable, honestly. Who among us hasn’t been sidetracked by a charismatic villain?) Throw in an impending vampire war, and you’ve got a plot thicker than a glass of O-negative.

But let’s be clear: this book isn’t trying to be subtle. It’s unabashedly over-the-top, leaning into every trope like it’s getting paid per swoon. Is it melodramatic? Absolutely. Do the characters sometimes prioritize their love triangle (square?) over literal life-or-death stakes? Of course. But that’s the fun of it.

If you’re in the mood for high drama, sizzling chemistry, and a heroine who takes “multitasking” to a new level, A Bond Beyond Blood is your next guilty pleasure. Just don’t expect to walk away without at least one new fictional crush. Final verdict? 8/10—because sometimes, chaos is exactly what you’re craving.

A huge THANK YOU to Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for Providing this ARC!

A Bond Beyond Blood is a reverse harem, vampire romance that completely took me by surprise in the best way. While many RH books dive headfirst into the spice from the beginning, this one leans more toward a slow burn, especially when it comes to the dynamic between the FMC and the full harem. There are steamy moments early on with one of the men, but the buildup with the others is drawn out and incredibly satisfying. The tension and pacing felt intentional and I loved that the author took the time to develop each connection individually.

This story is packed with tropes I love, friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, second chance romance, woven together in a way that didn’t feel overwhelming or forced. It gave the book a layered, emotional quality that I didn’t expect from a vampire romance. Speaking of vampires, I wasn’t sure how I’d feel going into a book that fully centered on them since I’ve only read books with vampires before, not about them. Turns out, vampire men might be my new favorite fictional obsession.

There is a bit of a cliffhanger at the end so be prepared to want the next book ASAP. I’m already anxiously waiting to see where the series goes from here. If you’re into reverse harem stories with actual plot, tension, character growth, and vampires that you’ll probably fall in love with, this one’s for you. Just trust the process and enjoy the slow burn. It’s worth it.

A Bond Beyond Blood is book two of the Bond Beyond Blood series.
The books must be read in order for maximum enjoyment.

Jack is a human with a vendetta. She wants to unalive the vampire who had her father involved in a Blood Bond. To achieve her aims, she trained under another vampire on how best to end one. The only trouble is, the vampires in her life are just so damn irresistible.

Vinny (the fighter), Gannon (her recently turned ex), and Elias (vampire royalty) might not be the best of friends but one thing they agree on is Jacqueline Fiorino is special and each of theirs. They just have to figure out how to play nice and share.

This book gives awesome Buffy/Angel/Spike vibes. It has unique and flawed characters with witty banter. The spice and UST between the main leads deliver big. Vampire politics and a mystery add to the excitement of this must read paranormal romance.

Unfortunately, after the book that started this series, I was left very underwhelmed by this installment and won’t be continuing the series.

I felt no heart or connection to the characters and it felt like everything was just happening for the sake of vampire romance. The characters felt mostly empty to me, Jack/Jackie/Jaqueline being the worst offender. She has 3 men including the vampire king thirsting over her and I feel like she’s just there? Her father was a butcher and now he’s dead and her teen boyfriend broke her heart and her vampire trainer is super hot the end.

Idk why any of these men are obsessed with her but they just were.

Elias was the one I was most interested about but even the two actual vampire king chapters fell short. A real shame because I was very excited at this premise from the first novella. It feels like this is being split into multiple short books for the sake of selling more books so a lot was just filler to fluff this past 200 pages.

Would have DNFd if this wasn’t an arc.

S/O to netgalley for this awesome read.

I can't believe I've finished the book already. I feel like it was just getting so good, and then "the end".....I mean the whole book itself was really good, but SOMETHING was about to go down and then.. THE END! til the next book. (Which I will definitely be looking out for). This is the first book I've read dealing with vampires and romance. Way Different than anything I've read. "Jack" (which is actually a girl in this story and causes some confusion with her name too"...has feelings for not only ONE, BUT THREE VAMPIRES!! They're all connected to her some how and pretty much the center of attention between them all. She may not be a literal Queen in this story, but by the way these vampires treat her, she might as well have been their Queen.

Jack: Having to take over the family business, she had a hate for vampires after her father's death. Her life changed drastically after being involved romantically with vampires.

Elias, VInny, & Gannon: soon enough have to come to terms that they're going to be involved with Jack whether they like it or not.

Let's start by saying I absolutely love Jack. She is bold and she is fearless. I love how we deeply navigate all the different relationships and emotions, and that we get everybody's pov. I loved her relationship with Vinny from the get-go; Full of trust, love and care. He stole my heart right away! Honestly, I wasn't sure of Gannon, but he really grew on me. A lot of longing, emotional heart-to-heart moments, and flashback from their past. As for Elias, I am very curious (but not sold yet?).

I really enjoyed the vibes of the book and the spice was fun. Although, I think I expected a bit more for the plot? I feel like the whole revenge part was dropped pretty quickly and then I wasn't sure where we are headed. There was a lot of focus on the vampire romance, and hey im not mad about it, but I cant wait to see where this is all going!

Thank you Netgalley for an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest opinion 🫶🏽

I was ready for this Why choose vampire romance, the mystery behind and surrounding Jackie. There were three hunky vamps, she was learning to fight, and I was ready. About fifty pages in the way the plot was unfolding, the dynamic of all these developing relationships, plus the writing style and I stopped having interest in the story and what was happening. All the points combined with how fast the relationship and the spice developed so quickly I really was not a fan of any of the MMC, one was way to childish and whiny, one was very compliant to king and gave the princess treatment to jackie while keeping things from her, the king we did not see him a lot. This was not for me and would not be recommended.
I received an ebook, via Netgalley. This review is my own honest opinion.

ARC of this read was somehow fun despite its dark vampy setting and I am really looking forward to what book two has to offer.

This was giving starter why choose, with a touch of how do we navigate this convo energy. I liked out FMC and her little, I can do anything you can do better moments. I have a feeling (and we can only hope) that the next installment of this story will be a we saved the best for last moment.

Overall, I didn't want it to end. Round two here I come.

Wow! Emotions right from the get go, and I continued to stumble over them the whole way through. Seriously, I could not put this one down!!

Vinny stole my heart from the very beginning. Strong, fast, vampire, but was still loving, respectful, obsessive, and protective. All great qualities we want in our (fictional) men!

And Elias… whew!! Yes please, sir King. He expelled pure s*x desire.

Honestly, between the two of them, I’d never be able to choose myself. Gannon didn’t even come close.

I am so incredibly hooked on this story, I’m desperate for book two. The plot, the characters, the SMEXY scenes… I need more asap!

Blood Bonds, Butcher Shops, and Vampire Chaos — A Spicy Start with Room to Grow
Let’s start with this: if you're looking for a vampire fantasy dipped in blood, grief, and smoldering tension, this book has your name on it. The premise is bold, Jack, our protagonist, inherits a butcher shop and a blood bond after her father's death. She’s tasked with stocking animal blood for a vampire king (yes, that kind of king), and her life spirals into a mess of secrets, attraction, and revenge. Oh, and plot twist? Jack isn’t who you think she is. The reveal that she's female mid-story adds an unexpected layer to the narrative, albeit one that could have used a little more nuance and build-up.
The supporting cast brings intrigue, two other vampires with deep ties to Jack’s past resurface, each adding tension and emotional weight. It’s a bit of a “why choose” setup with Jack pulled toward three very different, very vampire love interests: her mysterious bonded vampire (the elusive Vampire King), her trainer Vinnie, and her vampire ex. The result? A tangled web of attraction that somehow manages to be both a slow burn and satisfyingly spicy. It’s no easy feat, but the book leans into it hard.
Now, let’s talk structure and story. This novel feels like a gateway drug into vampire romance: accessible, fast-paced, and dripping in smut. It’s perfect for readers who are new to the genre or just want something steamy without too many complications. But if you’re craving a deep world, tight plotting, and rich lore… this book may leave you thirsty for more than blood.
The cliffhanger? It delivers just enough punch to spark curiosity for book two, but doesn’t quite capitalize on all the threads it weaves. Character motivations, especially Jack’s, sometimes feel rushed or underexplored, and emotional beats occasionally get eclipsed by the heat of the moment (literally). That said, the emotional stakes are promising, particularly Jack’s grief and the betrayal she feels around her father’s death.
Final thoughts:
If you came for vampires, spice, and sexual tension, you’ll be fed well. If you're hoping for a fully developed fantasy arc with no loose ends, you'll probably want to wait and see how the series progresses. For now, think of this book as a flirtation: hot, messy, and definitely not done with you yet.

I was lucky enough to pick both books in the series up through ARC, and I'm glad I did, as I literally couldn't put them down. As I finished the 1st one which left us on a cliffhanger, the 2nd book was opened immediately and my nose was stuck in until I finished it.

I love the interplay between all 4 characters, each wanting Jackie. Jackie, is headstrong, she has grown and matured over the last year since she lost her father. She will stand her ground against them. But all 3 men ignite aa passion within her, but will she succumb to the other 2?

Vinny who has been her trainer in the gym since she lost her father. The sexual tension had built up over the year and eventually they gave into it. Vinny has become very protective of his girl and with Gannon, her ex, who is now a vampire himself, is now back on the scene, he is even more possessive.

Eli has come back, he has unfinished business, something he walked away from but he is determined to take back. When he realises that JACK the butcher's youngest who has taken over the shop is a woman, she is his, she just doesn't know it as yet!

Eli comes into contact with Gannon, he finds out what is going on with him and takes him under his wing since his sire didn't. But there is also an ulterior motive, he can get as much information about Jackie, in order, to get her. Gannon just wants to be with Jackie in any capacity. She will forever hold his heart but will she ever forgive him?

This book also deals with the Council of Vampire Lords, which set up under and agreement with the government, setting out laws to cover both vampires and humans.

Jackie's life is cbeoming more complicated with Eli on the scene. Especially when she realises who he is and the hold he has over Vinny and Gannon, plus the connection to each other. All 3 vampires are also intrigued when they find that Jackie has 'powers' of her own when it comes to them. But Eli is worried for Jackie, if anyone finds out his link to her, she could be in danger, so he needs to keep her safe, but can they?

I can't wait until the next in the series is released so I can continue with the storyline!!

Anyone else think Jack isn’t really all that? She really wasn’t much of a character, same old boring female who ALL the guys fall for without really having much to offer but (looks?) and to sleep with them all.

I loved the banter, loved the thoughts. Loved how Vinny was the night in shining armour always. Showing us what a good and bad, guy is.

I couldn’t stand the ex, so damn annoying. Did nothing positive whatsoever but was sure to get back in bed with Jack almost immediately after having not really done anything to fix his mistakes. Like gag, you don’t get a fast pass just because buddy. That part really killed the vibe for me.

I get this was about “why choose” but honestly, why bother , on so many levels. The ex had no substance and neither did the main character. I liked Vinny and Elias, both had their minds written down and Vinny earned Jack while Elias at least got into her mind and perplexed her. But Jack acting all big and bad when she literally faces off with a random vampire at the end and almost DIES, is like come on. I get we want to have a badass female, but she just wasn’t. It wasn’t there, it wasn’t built.

Had she just liked 3 random hot dudes and wanted to taste them all, I would’ve understood a bit more. Monogamy isn’t really my thing nor is sleeping with several guys at the same time but I overlooked it since it’s pretty clear the book will revolve around that BUT when she literally has a guy with REAL feelings and she’s saying she loves him wholeheartedly but then really can’t not pounce her ex literally the second day he’s back? Yeah, no. And I get the attraction to a random super hot guy, BUT, I feel like if there’s real built in “love” and relationships, that should be off the table. It disintegrates the relationship with her and Vinny and just makes it seem more of a scandal and not her just enjoying incredibly good looking men. That’s the part that got me most.

I did enjoy a majority of the book overall, but yes, I did have to skip through things and some scenes. I’ll most likely read the next book in the series to see what the heck happens.

✨Arc Review✨

Thank you to the author J. Jameson, Jessalyn Jameson And Netgallery for sending me a digital ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Three vampires, one mortal, and enough tension to power a thousand fanfic spin-offs. A Bond Beyond Blood is a whirlwind of bloodlust, revenge, and, well, literal lust. J. Jameson serves up a spicy paranormal romance that doesn’t hold back—delivering equal parts smolder, sass, and those “Did she really just say that?” moments that make you grin and gasp simultaneously.

Our heroine is a force to be reckoned with—bold, vengeful, and juggling more supernatural suitors than a vampire-themed Bachelor. Elias, the vampire king, somehow invades her thoughts and captures her attention with dangerous charisma. Vinny, the resident bed-warmer, exudes a sultry vibe that should come with a warning label. And then there’s Gannon, the ex with classic “Why are you even here?” energy, trying to worm his way back in.

The revenge plot against Elias kicks off with fiery determination but quickly spirals into a messy cocktail of mutual fascination and reluctant teamwork. Honestly, totally relatable. Who hasn’t been sidetracked by a charismatic villain? Toss in an impending vampire war, and the plot thickens—thicker than a glass of O-negative.

This book isn’t subtle, and it doesn’t want to be. It leans hard into every trope like it’s getting paid per swoon. Is it melodramatic? Absolutely. Do the characters sometimes put their chaotic love square above life-or-death stakes? Without a doubt. But that’s the whole point—and the fun of it.

If you’re craving high drama, sizzling chemistry, and a heroine who multitasks with supernatural suitors like a pro, A Bond Beyond Blood is your next guilty pleasure. Just be ready to walk away with at least one new fictional crush.

Before I begin, I would like to thank J. Jameson for sending me an arc of A Bond Beyond Blood via Netgalley, in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Oh, and thanks to my best friend, who read this and the novella (The Butcher's Daughter) before they were combined into one full length novel, and recommended it to me.

I really enjoyed this book.

It definitely brought me back to the days when I was reading the Sookie Stackhouse series. And while this book is dedicated to those who read those books and wanted Sookie to end up with both Eric and Bill ...
that wasn't me.
Bill could kick rocks.

But with these three vampires .... yeah. I'd like to see a happily ever after with these four altogether.

While I sometimes have trouble picturing books with vampires without picturing something cheesy, I found J. Jameson was able to write it in a way that didn't feel that way. In a world where vampire books sometimes feel like the same old story, this is the first one where I felt like we had four different stories. Some with very human elements mixed in.
The seasoned vampire with a debt to pay.
The newly-turned vampire with no one to teach him to control his urges.
The recluse vampire king, who needs to clear out the imposters and take back his throne.
The human who hated vampires and ended up loving three.
All these stories are so interesting to read, and the characters have such different personalities. I will admit to being partial to Elias's chapters, however. Mostly because of his mysterious nature, and his arrogance on page had me snort laugh a few times.

I only really have one complaint about this book, which is hardly a complaint at all.
It's not long enough.
I think if J. Jameson added a little more build up between all of these characters, she could have added a lot more content to her book ... and way more tension. Because while A Bond Beyond Blood is steamy, it just lacks that building tension that I love in a book.

J. Jameson shows a lot of talent. She obviously puts a lot of work and care into her writing, and it shows. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and look forward to the second book in the trilogy.

If your looking for a spicy vampire story with an interesting plot this book is for you.

Elias Bristol, Vincenzo Ricci, Gannon Hayes. Three vampires with one goal in mind. Me.

Jacqueline "Jack" Fiorino is the daughter of Franco who runs a Meat shop in Brooklyn that has a secret. On the 15th of every month the vampire King Elias visits the shop to receive his supply of animal blood. A deal that was formed 21 years ago that cannot be broken. With the passing of her father the responsibility now lies with Jack. However, it's been over a year and Elias has never shown and Jack has been training with Vincenzo to take him down for not saving her father.

Over the course of a year Vinny and Jacks relationship bloomed. Vinny knew the second he laid eyes on Jack that she was the one for him but since he was a vampire it took Jack awhile to come around. But once she did , let's just say they made up for lost time in the spiciest of ways.

Of course once they solidify their relationship Gannon Hayes returns home. Jacks life long boyfriend who left her in her time of need. But when he returned he was no longer human but an unhinged baby vampire. Desperate to be loved by Jack again.

Oh did you think I forgot about Elias.. No one can forget the vampire king. His return was shocking and intense. He took Brooklyn by storm righting the wrongs of the House of Lords, the vampires who tried to kill him for the throne all while turning Jack, Vinny and Gannon worlds upside down but revealing that his blood runs through Jacks veins.

I'm excited for the next book and to see where their story goes.

Thank you Net Galley for the opportunity to review this novel. All thoughts are my own.

Wow this book is really good. This book brings me back to some of the first books I started out with reading. And I was enjoying getting back to that feeling. I haven't read a paranormal book in quit sometime I liked as much as I liked this, it doesn't quit get 5 stars I got a little bored at some parts of the book.

The parts I got bored was the filler pages, where there didn't happen much in. Would have liked to get a little more action.

I liked the plot even though it have some similarities to other paranormal books, though this has some twist the other books don't.

The relation between Jack, Vinny, Gannon and Elias is very different than what I'm used to reading and I'm not sure I really want the love triangle/square. Some parts of it I like and some I don't. The parts I like is how each of the boys acts different with Jack. The parts I don't like is how at one moment Jack, Vinny and even Elias doesn't seem to think that Gannon will be with Jack ever again, the next moment Jack, Vinny and Gannon has a threesome, and I'm like where did this come from.

The writing is descriptive but not so much that my own imagination can't get to work, which something I value in my reads.

The book left with a cliffhanger and I'm sitting back with this feeling of that the author can't just stop there like I need to know what happens next. I need the next book in my hands right now. I will be looking forward to read what will happen with Jack and the rest of the gang in the next book.

Thank you to J. Jameson and BookSirens for the opportunity to read this ARC! I’m leaving this review voluntarily.

I’m sorry, while the plot itself is interesting and I really love the mix of vampires and reverse harem, I just can’t get into these characters. None of the guys appeal to me, and the MC honestly comes across as… well, not the brightest.

Each love interest either hurts her, lies to her, or outright abandons her. The fact that they lust after her and then try to apologize doesn’t make them more appealing, in fact, it feels hollow. Of course, that’s just my personal opinion.

After reading The Butcher’s Daughter prequel, I was eager to see how Jack’s twisted affair with three vampires would unfold. As she struggles with her vow for revenge upon the vampire that could have saved her father’s life, Jack finds herself desperately attracted to him even though he invades her thoughts. Navigating her new normal—managing the family butcher shop after her father’s death—Jack enters a relationship with the vampire who has been helping her prepare for vengeance. But her life takes a more complicated turn when another vampire from her past resurfaces, seeking reconciliation.
This book may not dive deep into world-building, but it shines with its complex, morally gray characters. A fast-paced read driven by lust and desire, it explores the inner turmoil of its main characters, who find a sense of solace in one another—except for Elias, of course. I wish we had more insight into Elias’s perspective or a deeper storyline into his past from his POV. His dramatic reentry into the vampire world felt a bit abrupt, lacking the context and thorough explanation it deserved. Honestly, I think I would have enjoyed exploring that storyline more than the love triangle between Jack and the vampires. That said, don’t get me wrong—I’m all for a spicy vampire romance!
If you enjoy why-choose romances, overprotective MMCs, vampires, or reverse harems, this is a must-read!

After reading the novella, I was very interested in reading the first full length book. (Highly recommend reading that first.) At the heart of it, it's about vampires with biting and bloodlust but the characters are so layered. The harem of three men is slowly coming around and it feels natural especially dealing with acceptance, jealousy, and the thought of sharing one woman.

We have 3 vampires each in a different level of immortality:

Gannon - He's recently turned and struggling through it. He's questioning everything and is depressed. He's also still desperately in love with Jack and trying to make amends.

Vincenzo - He's been a vampire for awhile and is pretty much living life normally. His relationship with Jack develops most in this book but he's still insecure about being the only male in her life.

Then we have

Elias - I believe he's centuries\millennia (?) old and he goes on a killing spree to regain his throne. It was deliciously unhinged. I really wished we got a bit more of it. He's blood bonded with Jack and of the three vampires probably has the least developed relationship with Jack. But when they get together, it's pretty explosive.

I don't recall an overarching plot because a lot is invested in character development. (Three cheers for that!) Looking forward to more

I have been impatient for this book from the moment The Butcher’s Daughter was released and teased me with a love for vampires that I didn’t even know I still had since Twilight. I will start with saying that Jack is probably one of my favorite FMC that I have ever read about. She is strong and independent in a way that requires no help from anyone, and yet she is soft and self-aware enough to accept help when she needs it. She is forgiving, and TRUST does she have plenty of things happen to her that need her forgiveness, but she is also smart enough to know when someone or something is not good for her.

Her relationship with the three men of this book, Elias, Vinny, and Gannon is so unqiue to her and her life journey. When I read The Butcher’s Daughter, Vinny had captured my whole heart with his fierceness and loyalty, and though he still carries those traits into this book - I got to learn so much more about our vampire king Elias and wow what a mannnn.

The complexity of these group of characters emotions and their own personal journeys navigating through life made the love square so much more realistic. It was action packed, some fight scenes were some of the parts I actually thought we written the best at times, and of course, it’s J.Jameson - so the spice was spicing in all the right places.

Thank you so much J. Jameson for allowing me an ARC copy of A Bond Beyond Blood - it was so much better than I even expected, and that ending?!?! I need the next one like YESTERDAY.

ARC Review: A Bond Beyond Blood by J. Jameson ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
"I won't bite you until you beg for it". Cue me begging for book 2 ASAP because I devoured this book!!

True Blood meets a "why choose" romance with a darkly seductive edge. We follow Jack, a strong-willed FMC reeling from the loss of her father and thrust into inheriting not only his business—but also something else (no spoilers!!) Involving a mysterious vampire.

We follow Jacks relationship with Vinny—her intense yet tender protector. Vinny is pure possessive vampire gold, but surprisingly sweet and nurturing too. I loved his character the most. But since this is a "why choose" romance, one vampire simply isn't enough...
Enter Gannin, Jack’s ex and a wildcard reintroduced into her life but a bit too easily for my liking. While their chemistry is undeniable, I found myself wishing Jack had made him work a little harder for her forgiveness!!!

And then there’s Elias, the vampire tied to her who adds a mysterious, simmering layer to the dynamic. I would have loved more time to explore Elias's connection with Jack—hopefully we get that in Book 2.

The spice is definitely spicing and there are no complaints from me! Book 2 is on my TBR, I need to know what happens next!!!

A Bond Beyond Blood kicked off as a slow-burn training revenge plot and turned into the most delightfully chaotic why choose vampire romance I've ever read. When Jackie sets out to slay the vampire who failed her father, she ends up caught between three dangerously alluring, immortal men: Vinny, her vampire trainer; Gannon, her ex, now undead; and Elias, the brooding vampire king.

The pacing builds beautifully: emotional tension, shifting alliances, and scorching chemistry weave between Jackie and the men she doesn't have to choose between. Vinny brings protective warmth; Gannon is dramatic revenge material; Elias is commanding and intensely possessive. The complex dynamic is addictive in all the best ways.

This isn't just paranormal romance, it's chaos, seduction, and power plays wrapped in blood magic. The romance is slow to bloom fully, and the cliffhanger landing is maddening, but in a satisfying way that makes you crave the next book.

Bottom line: If you're into reverse‑harem paranormal with sharp writing, feral chemistry, and high-stakes romance, A Bond Beyond Blood is worth the ride. Just be sure you're ready for wicked vampires and a vow: you'll want the sequel ASAP.

This book had it all! It’s got Vampires with Spice, drama, epic fight scene, and serious banter between the men.

So I read the novella first, not realizing that this book has been rewritten to have the novella a part of the actual book.. I think having them together works well, but I’m not sure it was necessary. The novella was so good that I was going to read this book anyways.

There is a lot of drama but also a lot of growth in this book. The fact that eventually all of her men come to terms with the fact that she likes the other men as well was perfect! The ending I did not see coming, and there is still one loose end with Vinny, but I can’t wait for book 2 so I can see exactly how that will play out. I also am anxious for the spice with Eli and Jackie.. I think it is going to be epic and it is only right that it gets a book of its own to build up.

I do think maybe Gannon needed to grovel a little more, she forgave him too easy. But they do have quite an intense history that maybe she would have forgiven him quickly.. although we know why he left, thanks to multiple POV’s.. there still isn’t a section where he admits that to Jackie.

I recommend this to any and all Vampire romance fans out there!

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I've been waiting for this gem since Jameson left us hanging with 'The Butcher's Daughter', and I was not disappointed.

I didn't realize how much I was craving this book until I got into it.

I loved the flushing out of each character, especially as we just got a taste of everyone in 'The Butcher's Daughter' novella.

I love the dynamic between Jack and Vinny and how they both (albeit reluctantly on Vinny's part) welcome Gannon and Elias into their relationship. I ADORE a good reverse harem, and this one did not disappoint.

The spice was spicy, but if you're looking for sword crossing, you won't find it here. Just some good old, sharing the girl nicely vibes.

Elias really brought an edge to the dynamic as well, being the oldest and only true born vampire. A bit of gore comes with that guy, though, so if that's not your jam, reader beware. I didn't find it too much, but if you're a sensitive soul, it might not be your thing.

Leaving us on a cliffhanger, I can't wait to see what Jameson brings us next in ' When Blood Runs Cold'!
