I really appreciate this author making this book available for the spook your kindle event. I went in hoping to read some spooky Halloween tales. Unfortunately, I think this book is written for children and I was hoping for more adult stories. That being said I struggled a lot to get through this book. The stories are repetitive in nature, but also sometimes words are overused in the same paragraph, even in the same sentence. Themes are the same from story after story. It did not hold my interest at all and I do like reading horror aimed at children. This book just wasn't for me.
