Find Dangerous Entanglements Book 2 My sister stole my life. Now, I'm taking it back.
I thought I knew Sybil better than anyone. Now, I see her for who she truly is. A woman as twisted and broken as any criminal I've ever met.
She's taken from me everything I've ever loved or cared about. My dreams. My boyfriends. My job. Even Simon, the gorgeous and deadly assassin who has made it his mission to destroy her and the weapons dealing Abromov Group she works for.
But when Rue, the badass hacker on Simon's team with a killer fashion sense asks me for my help to get him back, I know what my answer is.
I shouldn't care that she has him in her clutches. But I do.
Because despite the fact that he betrayed and used me to get his revenge, there's something about him that calls me. And as much as it hurts me to believe it, I can't deny that he was right about my sister. She's a monster.
I just hope that by rescuing Simon, I'm not trading one monster for another. Or losing my heart in the process.
But I'm Agent Hannah Kelly. And hunting monsters is what I do.
Catch Dangerous Entanglements Book 3 Blood is not always thicker than water. Sometimes it’s poison. He made my heart and body feel things I’d never thought possible. But he also hurt me. Used me. Betrayed me. And I did it right back to him. But only to save him. Because in the end, the reasons Simon had for using me to get to Sybil, were entirely justified and I can’t say I wouldn’t have done the exact same thing. My sister is evil. A monster. And she needs to be stopped. But first, I'll need the help of the one man who might know my sister better than even I do. A man who is currently sitting in federal prison for crimes of espionage and treason. All because of me. I have a plan though. One that will not only get Simon’s name cleared but will also get his whole team of Ghosts off the hook. Time is running out though. Sybil is closing in and every day that goes by I can feel her evil presence like a lingering nightmare. I have to get Simon free and convince him to trust me one last time. Then he can do exactly what he wants, disappear, just like a Ghost. And take my heart with him.
Anne Roman is the author of suspenseful and thrilling romance novels. Her books are fast-paced, steamy, and will leave you on the edge of your seat! When not writing, Anne can be found at home with her kids, pets, and a husband who still sweeps her off her feet.
This is such an action-packed series that keeps you on your toes! There is so much going on that you have no clue what’s going on until it happens,or at least right before it happens.
The characters are flawed in their own rights. They all have an interesting backstory, which gets dripped in during the main story at opportune times. I would consider most the characters as morally grey- given their career choice. Even our FMC, an FBI agent, starts to fall in the category the longer the series flies on.
Fantastic details, everything is painted really well for you to imagine. The writing flows really well, and very few plot holes (only ones on purpose). A great series that you can get lost to very easily!
This was an action packed series, not knowing where the story was going to go really kept me turning those pages. Lots of twists and not knowing who can be trusted. There is a steamy attraction between Hannah and Simon but the timing isn't always right.
* See Me #1
This was an action-packed suspense that had me reading it all in one day.
The first book takes us on the journey of Hannah as she tries to work out who has betrayed her at work and why her sister has been keeping secrets.
I love the way this book was written, the way little crumbs were dropped and hints made about what might or might not be happening. It was frustrating in a really "I need to know what happened!" way and I enjoyed all the twists the story took me on.
Hannah.... she made me like her one minute and then want to knock some sense into her the next. She was a strong, albeit flawed FMC, which made me like her more. She has a bizarre relationship with her sister, we get some flashbacks to their childhood which was intriguing and I hope we find out more about how it came to be the way it is.
Simon.... mysterious, secretive, and so much more. I loved his character and the teasing he directed at Hannah, there was some serious attraction between them, but they have so many hurdles between them. I have a feeling we have only scratched the surface with him.
This book had it all, mystery, espionage, lies, betrayal, deceit, chemistry, interesting characters and a great plotline. You won't be disappointed.
* Find Me #2
I really don't know who to trust as everyone is keeping everything to themselves and not sharing information.
After being so blinkered in book 1 Hannah is starting to look at the way she interacted with Sybil throughout their lives and is realising how wrong it all was, but there is still lots we don't yet know about the sibling relationship. She seems so much more focused and switched on than in book 1.
I love all the characters in the story, and the attraction between Simon and Hannah is smoking.
There are a few twists in the book, but the one at the end was not what I was expecting. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the story continues.
* Catch Me #3
So after the ending in book 2 I wasn't sure where this book might go, but it starts off with quite a bang. Hannah left the team in quite a difficult situation and I wasn't sure if she could redeem herself with them.
Some of the breadcrumbs from the first two books start to make some sense and we also find out more about Sybil - there's actually quite a big bomb about her and Hannah's relationship, but you'll have to read it to find out. The more we find out about the sister relationship the more bizarre it seems and its a wonder Sybil has gotten away with so much without getting caught. I think this will be a series that if you read it again, you will see more with hindsight.
Hannah does still seem to want to work on her own, she is definitely not a big team player, but working on her own isn't really working out for her very well either. She does seem to want to test everyone's patience by putting herself and them in unnecessary danger.
It was good to see how the story finally played out and how Hannah and Simon managed to finally work things out.
This series has more of a HFN, and the although the main story is completed, there is room left for maybe more books involving these same characters. I would love to see more of them working on missions as a team.
I am normally a Paranormal Girl and accasional step out into some of my fav non Paranormal authors some of which are crime/thriller's and when one of my friends mentioned this new author i decided to giver her a go and i am so glad that i did !
Book 1
Hannah - has her life thrown upside down when her sister is murdered but as a FBI agent she is determined to find out what happened even if it means working with the annoyingly super sexy Alpha hole
Simon - Has his undercover opp thrown into chaos when his mole is murdered, so he turns his attention to her sister who in actual fact couldnt be more different if she tried, His rules are never mix business with pleasure they are there for a reason and create structure to an operationbut soemthing about Hannah has comprimised him in more ways than one.
Really well written some suprising twists and an amazing storey line - definately worth a few hours of your time, i promise you wont be dissapointed
Book 2
This book starts directly after the first one ends with Hannah looking to find and rescue if needed the damsel ( in this case Simon) from his fate at the end of book 1. I love the character dynamics and the almost love-hate a lot like marmite relationship these two have. Threading through the story is the overall mystery with plot twists and turns a plenty. The book felt a little short but I think that is down to the fact that I devoured it fully in one sitting when I proceeded to hold up said book on my kindle and ask the author for more please very impatiently!
Book 3
This storey is all consuming with lots of twists, Book 3 kicks off after Hannah betrayed the team which sends then into the federal prison system. But hey he betrayed her first but i am not sure which is the bigger betrayal. That said she needs him more than she knows and now has to find a way to break him out of Jail to stop her sister.
The more we read the more is revealed about Hannah's past the more we understand but the twists and turns in these books are truly amazing. This book is a read in one sitting, cant put down for anything as you are consumed with the need to find out if these guys get their HEA and save the world!
I was excited to see this trilogy packaged together as a boxset, perfect for binge reading.
Book 1- See Me I like to read the occasional romantic thriller but often they can be a little predictable. This one however although I did see some of it coming there was a surprising and shocking twist towards the end. Hannah is an FBI agent and after her sister's brutal murder is approached by Simon. She believes Simon is her sister's boyfriend and he asks for her co-operation in helping to catch her sister's killer by her pretending to be her sister as they look almost identical. She agrees to help and embarks on a journey that reveals lies and betrayal of a magnitude she could have never perceived. A brilliantly written and well planned plot line keeps the reader hooked till the end
Book 2- Find Me Following on from the end of the last book, Simon has been captured and his team can't locate him. Hannah, still reeling from the betrayal doesn't want anything to do with it until the team agree that they get Simon, she can have Sybil. So many questions! There is something deeper going on here and I have no clue what it is! Very cleverly written as I have no idea, not even a suspicion of where this is headed. Eagerly looking forward to the next part of the story as I need some answers!
Book3- Catch Me "The darkness tries to hide the light. Remember that Hannah. Darkness and death go hand in hand. And if you keep letting your light get smothered by Sybil, you're going to eventually end up the same way." With the way the last book ended I had no idea where this was going to go but I was not disappointed. Full of action and revelations this kept me in suspense and guessing right up until the end and fulfilled my expectations both romantically and plot-wise. I would like to see more from these characters, maybe another story with Michael and Rue as the main characters? There is some definite tension there that could be explored! Love, love, loved this series and it is well worth a read
Book 1 Overall it was an interesting read. I believe this author will get better as time goes on. I can say that some things were not expected in the plot. Little twists and turns that I enjoyed. I enjoyed the actual story line a lot. Why is Sissy so evil???? The bag... 😱 whyyyyy? I am invested at this point and really want to see what happens next.
Book 2 This story is progressing nicely. Hannah and Simon have some serious tension going on. There were a few spicy scenes that were done very well. Where will they go? Will it end in heartbreak?
Sybil... what is the deal with this woman? I'm as confused as Hannah from the comment Sybil made. It couldn't possibly explain the crazy. What happened when they were kids?
Maybe I'm wrong here... but hear me out. I think Hannah would make a fantastic addition to the Ghost team. All she really has to be okay with is a little light murder.... That's not so bad. Will Hannah join the team? Or will the team join Hannah? No, that couldn't work.
Hannah, what did you do???? Why? How can you fix this? I wanted to scream at the end. Waiting for book 3 is going to be torture. I can't wait!!
Side note- I can see the writing getting better as we progress through this series. This author has a lot of potential and I'm excited to see where she goes.
Book 3 This was a good ending to this series. The author is getting better as things go along. I'm interested to see what comes next for her.
Hannah is determined to catch Sybil and José. She wants to stop Sybil, but is also dealing with a little bit of guilt. Hannah did run off in a rather rookie mistake, but it worked out. She doesn't think clearly when it comes to Sybil. Which to be fair, is completely normal. We had several bomb drops in this one. I was utterly shocked by a few of them.
The ending was great. I can't wait to see what this author does next.
I really enjoyed theses books. I read this trilogy as individual books. These are my reviews for each book. If you can read it as a trilogy I would highly recommend it as there is no waiting for the next book.
Book 1 This book has a great premise and a fantastic story line. I love Simon’s character no matter how hard he tries to put her off she still wants him but doesn’t want to admit it. Lots of twists and turns throughout. It was real page turner I was glued to it and absolutely devoured it. I love the fact she thinks Simon killed her sister and needs to find out. Brilliant book and book 2 is currently free. Well worth a read.
Book 2 This continues right from where book one ends. Only now everything is so much more complicated now that we have answers. This book is even better than first if that’s possible. Simon is missing and his team are struggling to find him, will Hannah go back into a dangerous situation to see if she can find him. Brilliant book can’t wait for the next one.
Book 3
What a great conclusion to a series. Hannah is back but can she save Simon from jail? Or worse. Will Sybil ever leave Hannah alone? Can the team forgive Hannah after her exit? So many questions left from book 2 that need answering. The conclusion doesn’t disappoint it starts with an interesting twist and a blank business card or is it? Who is this new group and what do they want? Shame it had to end would like to see more of the Hannah’s exploits in this world.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I actually loved this series from start to finish. I couldn’t wait to get started after everything I have heard about it. Always a bonus have the book is one place. The books are fast pace romantic trilogy, but the first book is slow burn. This book has been done in MPOVS. Simon is the sexiest most infuriating man Hannah has ever met. To top it all off she thinks he killed her sister. But for hannah to get justice for her sister s murder she will have to work with Simon and get close to him as he has all the answers she seeks. After the everything that happens in book 1, Hannah thought she knew her sister but little did she realise how twisted she actually was once her childhood memories came back that’s when everything came together for Hannah. Sybil has taken everything Hannah ever loved or cared about from her. Her dreams, boyfriends, her job and even Simon the man who has made it his mission to destroy Sybil and the group she works for. He used her, hurt her but also betrayed her, so she done the same thing to him. But the difference is it was to save him. What Simon had done to Hannah and the reason behind it was to get to her sister but she finds it completely justifiable and would of done the same thing if the tables were turned. Her sister needs to be stopped but the one person who can help her is currently in a federal prison because of her. Gutted for it to be over but the ended was another fantastic one
See Me: Meet Agent Hannah Kelly, a great investigator whose sister, Sybil has just been murdered. Meet Simon Gallagher, a mercenary who was working with Sybil. Together they must uncover the truth, and the magnetism that immediately grows between them is intense. I loved the mystery and suspense in this book and the way Hannah and Simon both fight to hold back their instincts but it can't be denied. Plenty of unexpected twists in this mystery! A great read! Find Me: Wow, things get interesting with Agent Hannah Kelly! She can't help but find Simon as they are continuously drawn together by an unstoppable force of fate. As the plot thickens so does the tension between them - and the ultimate betrayal and cliff hanger at the end - who will survive and who won't? This was another great mystery read, and I can't wait to find out what happens in the next book! Catch Me: The mysteries abound and the spice heats up as Hannah, Simon and his team continue to fight against Sybil and her mercs. Once again full of plot twists and the tension between Hannah and Simon is off the charts, they both so desperately want the other. I love that Hannah finally gets to have a real friend in both Rue and Michael, and I wonder what will happen with them in the future? I loved how Hannah and Simon were both able to get their jobs done, while trying to deny the passion and to not hurt the other person. A great conclusion to this series.

Simon is so sexy i just love him and his ghost Crew of Rue and Michael. i really wouldnt mind more in this series just to find out what the Crew would be up to next and how they save the world again.
Overall, I really enjoyed this series! I know Anne is a newer author, but I will for sure read more of her books. I loved the steam, mystery, twists and turns. Below I gave a brief review of each book.
Book 1 Holy rollercoaster! Goodness so much going on and lots of twists and turns. Simon and Hannah have the chemistry and heat! I cannot wait to see what happens in the next book!!
Book 2 OMG that cliffhanger!!! I need more! Goodness, just when you think you know it all change and proved your guess wrong. Poor Hannah learning more about his sister. It breaks my heart the lies and deception. Cannot wait for the next release!
Book 3 Holy page turner. So much going on in this book. Honestly, I need more! I need more Simon and Hannah. I need more missions. I really need more Rue and Michael! I really enjoyed this series and knowing it was a new author made it that much better for me! I love when people follow their passion!
This was not what I was expecting when I got this series. It was so much better. FBI Agent Hannah (FMC) gets caught up and involved with secretive Simon when her sister - Sybil dies in suspicious circumstances. Hannah is witty, sarcastic and hot-headed but its the dynamic & sexual tension that she has with Simon that made this book for me. The banter that they had was off of the charts hot!!! It definitely kept me guessing as did who was keeping secrets and lies? This trilogy was an engaging read that certainly kept me on my toes from start to finish. It was a cracking read with characters that I loved.
Dangerous Entanglements is a series that allows us get all caught up in Hannah and Simon’s love life, as well as the continuing and amazing plot involving Hannah’s evil sister. Lot’s of action and espionage, as well as friendships, loyalty, and by the end, all these characters finally get what they deserve!
Anne Roman began this trilogy with See Me, then followed that fabulous book with Find Me and Catch Me.
I thoroughly enjoyed all three books, as secrets and mysteries became entangled with emotions.
When Sybil is killed unexpectedly, FBA agent Hannah is out to determine what happened to her sister. Along the way Hannah learns her sister was envolved in dangerous entanglements beyond what she could imagine. Hannah also realizes she has blocked out parts of her childhood and created her persona to not upset Sybil. As all these memories come crashing in, Hannah finds herself aligning with Simon and his group of misfits for a massive takedown to get her life back in order.
I loved this series and getting to see pir fbi female lead learn more about her sisters death and the secrets she held while getting close to Simon. This series will have you reading from start to finish to discover all twists that come.
I absolutely loved this series! Agent Hannah is a great strategist and her chemistry with Simon is off the charts. I also love the rest of Simon's team, especially Rue. I love her IT hacking and loyalty. I would definitely try this series if you like books about espionage and sexy agents!
