A brilliantly written story with related characters and a great storyline that captures your attention and keep you invested and turning the pages until the end. A fast paced, quick read novella that flows seamlessly from page to page. An addicting unputdownable read. Tonya Bryant was the nanny for millionaire's Ryan and Teejay Thomas two young children Tyler and Reece. Teejay was a narcissist, condescending and insecure employer and treated Tonya like trash. Ryan older brother Kincaid came to visit Ryan and his vacation home and was instantly attracted to Tonya. The two had a passionate one night stand on the beach where Kincaid took her virginity and leaves a little piece of himself. philanthropist Ruth Van Kirk would boast their business. Miss Van Kirk host the most spectator events for charities that would elevate their business if they could get an invite to the events. Kincaid had always thought about the night on the beach with Tonya and for years he couldn't get her out of his mind. Tonya is Ruth's personal assistant image when Kincaid went to an event an saw the woman that he had been dreaming about he was shock and thought that he was hallucinating. Kincaid decides that he wouldn't let her get again from him a second time. Tonya is still attracted to Kincaid and want a second chance, but she has a secret that she's hiding from him. A four year old daughter name Kim who happens to look just like her cousin Reece. Kincaid and Tonya started to see each other again, but when Tonya meets in an accident in Aspen her secret came out when Kincaid came face-to-face with his daughter. He was pissed and wanted her leave his house. That day he didn't just loss the love of life, he also loss chance to work with Ruth Van Kirk because of his behavior towards Tonya. However, Ryan came up and save the day and their company. Kincaid was mad because she didn't let know that he had a child and he couldn't get past the hurt. It would be rollercoaster ride for the two where they fight for their HEA after they work through their issues. I beautiful story of love forgiveness, and redemption.

Kincaid and Tonya have super hot chemistry right from the first. Unfortunately, they don’t have a chance of building a relationship for a variety of reasons. Tonya gets pregnant as a result of their one and only passionate encounter. Add in the untenable situation with her employers (one of whom is Kincaid’s brother), and Tonya finds herself pregnant and unemployed with no contact info for the baby daddy. Fast forward five years, Tonya and Kincaid meet again. Now she is working for a wealthy philanthropist who is looking for a construction company to renovate buildings into housing. Kincaid and his brother are now working together and own a construction company. They hope to win the contract to do the renovations. Meeting Kincaid again is bittersweet for Tonya, and something holds her back from telling Kincaid about their daughter. She doesn’t think she can trust him and she has her daughter’s well being to consider as well. He says he wants to catch up with her, but in reality he just wants to get the inside scoop in her employer and how to get his company on the list of would be contractors for the new project. The chemistry is still hot and fierce between them, she is finally ready to reveal her secret and both seem ready to take the next step toward commitment. Then an accident blows everything apart. He learns her daughter is his child and storms away.

I admit at this point, I am rather miffed at Kincaid and the way he handles his emotions. He avoids confrontation, bottles up emotions and generally acts like a teenager rather than an adult. Will he ever let go of his anger and his rather immature attitude and make an effort to get to know his daughter? He has a right to be angry, but so does Tonya. She is the one who was left behind after a one night stand, and again after she is injured in an accident. His daughter is an innocent in all of this and still he hesitates to connect with her and be in her life. You will need to read this rather tangled and unpredictable book to see how Tonya and Kincaid’s story concludes. It is both fascinating and evocative.

A Bumpy Relationship . . .

Tonya Bryant was the nanny for Ryan’s children. When his brother, Kincaid, comes to visit, Tonya and Kincaid have a one-night-stand. But Kincaid leaves without explanation. When Tonya finds out she is pregnant, she does not try to contact Kincaid for a variety of reasons and false assumptions. Kincaid is a contractor and was working out of the country by then. He was surprised when his brother Ryan asked him to come home from Europe and work with him in the States, despite the argument they had that drove him away 5 years earlier.

Tonya and Kincaid run into each other shortly after he comes home. Tonya still keeps her secret until Kincaid meets his young daughter when Tonya has a serious encounter with a tree in Aspen and cannot travel to D.C. to pick up Kim for 3 weeks. He surprises her by arranging for Ruth to bring Kim to his place to be with Tonya. But when he opens his door, he sees a little girl who looks very “familiar”. He doesn’t take the news very well when he confronts Tonya to find that this child is actually his daughter, having been kept out of Kim’s life and Tonya not trying to make that right. These two have the facts scrambled because they don’t bother talking to each other. Once again, communication is essential but they would rather sulk than work out their relationship or at least get the facts straight. Will one of them make the first move? Or do they no longer want to reconcile since Kincaid is now caught up in his anger?

Enjoyable ‘secret baby’ romance. I liked the way the story starts with put-upon nanny, Tonya, meeting her rich boss’s brother when the family goes to stay at the beach for the Summer. The chemistry is almost instant, and Tonya & Kincaid give into their attraction amongst the sand dunes one night. Her employers are quite unlikeable, and this results in Kincaid leaving the next morning without even saying goodbye, or realising there will be an unexpected result of his actions. Fast forward five years and their paths cross again. I loved the way the reader is kept guessing on when Kincaid will discover he’s the father of Tonya’s daughter and how he will react when he does! When the big ‘reveal’ happens, almost by accident – I found Kincaid’s reaction and subsequent actions quite realistic. Often in this situation in romances all is well and almost sugary sweet – not the case here! Kincaid is an absolute pig towards the mother of his child and even alienates his own brother and Tonya’s employer in the process. The road to their HEA as a family isn’t smooth but makes for an engaging read.

Tonya had it all figured out until she didn't. Work as a nanny for a year whilst deciding which direction her life was going to go in and then move forward. A one night stand blew that out of the water especially as the father disappeared before the next morning.

Kincaid went home to see his brother and family only to fall out and leave. The only downside being the beautiful nanny that he left behind after an unforgettable night of passion.

Four years later sees these two reunited but can they make it work this time?

Tonya is a resourceful, capable, engaging young woman who has put her life together after the setback of finding herself pregnant and high and dry. Whilst Kincaid is a driven, charismatic man who has his sight most definitely set on Tonya.

A wonderful angsty love story following the difficult path of love between these two likeable individuals. Add in the other characters that bring depth and interest and you have thoroughly unput downable story.

This was a good story. Tonya is a nanny when her bosses older brother Kincaid shows up for a visit. She has a one night stand with Kincaid and then he disappears the next day. Several weeks later when she realizes she’s pregnant she quits. It’s been five years and she is working as an assistant to Ruth a wealthy lady who likes to help others, running charity auctions, and renovating buildings to turn into affordable housing. Kincaid is now working with his brother trying to get their renovation business going. And after reading an article about Ruth they feel she is the key to get their business going. Little does Kincaid know that the one he hasn’t forgotten about since their night together is her assistant. What bothered me was that yes Kincaid had a right to be upset. But he ghosted Tonya and treated her bad. And the minute he’s nice to her she’s ok with his past behavior and forgiving him.

This is a great addition to the Alpha Billionaire Series. Tonya is a nanny for a couple that’s very demanding so when her boss’s brother, Kincaid comes on vacation these two get to have one incredible night before it all comes crashing down on Tonya. Kincaid is a wealthy man living overseas and gets mad at his brothers treatment of Tonya and ends up leaving without a word. Tonya discovers she’s pregnant several weeks later and ends her employment right away. Five years later Tonya and her little girl, Kim have a good life where she works as an assistant for a wealthy woman who donates her money to those in need. When Kincaid moves home to work with his brothers business they end up seeing one another at an event, both surprised! Once Kincaid learns the truth he is besides himself and down right mean to Tonya. Earning their way to become a family is a tough road and one well earned! Overall, I enjoyed this read. I loved stories that are longer and grab you and pull you in. The story revolves around Kincaid and Tonya. They meet while she is his brother's Nanny. Kincaid gives his brother a talking to and tells him to treat her better. Kincaid and Tonya have a date but he get’s into a big argument with his brother the next day and leaves, not knowing when Tonya finds out she pregnant. She doesn’t say anything and overhears the family say that Kincaid is getting married so Tonya quits and leaves. They he mistakenly thinks she got sick and died. (frustrating) I got a bit irritated here, why don’t characters ask more questions? Years go by before they run into each other again. They have another miscommunication and things are said that shouldn’t be. So I did enjoy but was a bit frustrated at points,.

Okay

Secret Baby with my Boss's Brother is part of the Alpha Billionaire series. I have read one previous book to this by the author so I am still getting to know her writing and story-telling styles. I have not completely decided whether we click as author and reader yet, and this story did not make that sound for me. I found the story to be interesting at times and others I wanted to smuck the main characters upside their heads. My other issue is that the book needs another round or two with a good editor and proofreader, as there were a number of issues which irked me to no end after a while, and also killed the flow of the story. I will try the author a couple of more times, as I do see possibility, before making up my mind of what column the author will land in for me.

Past Events Cause Strife

Tonya and Kincaid have an overwhelming attraction to each other and have a night of passion. However, he leaves without a goodbye and she is left with a pregnancy. 5 years later they are reunited but she hesitates to trust him and when he finds out he has a daughter his reaction pushes her away further. While she should have told him the truth, the fact that she was treated badly by his family and his sudden departure years earlier had a negative impact. A happy ending will be quite difficult with all these obstacles. This story was complex and full of emotional difficulties that needed to be overcome.

Wowsa this book was absolutely fantastic and will definitely have you engrossed from the beginning until the end and the storyline flows throughout the book. Kincaid comes to the US to visit his brother and family only to see how they treat Tonya the nanny .when one time ends up breaking her heart and leaving her with a surprise now years later he is back can they both be able to trust each other and find love or will the pain blund them both? Great story that leaves you wanting to shake some sense into them both.

Five years later Kincaid has moved back to states and working on a project with his brother that brings him and Tonya together. The chemistry they had is still there and the pair start seeing each other. How is he going to react when he finds out he has a little girl?

This is a rollercoaster ride in part of the story, you want to throttle Kincaid.

They meet again 5 years later when Tonya is working as a personal assistant for someone that has taken on Kincaid's contracting business. He hasn't forgotten her but what happens when he finds out about her secret, will be be able to forgive her for hiding is child from him.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story, and I was glad that there was no bitterness, and too much anger when Tonya was left to her own devices, after hooking up with Kincaid, and then eventually, five years later, meeting up with him again and picking up from where they left off. It’s months later, and then he discovers that she kept his daughter secret from him. Things move over and then they got one for happy ever after.

The story seemed to not flow as well as others by this author. I also never really felt myself rooting for Tonya. I mean, she is dating a guy and hides she has his daughter until it smacks him in the face when there was no other choice. Yes he reacts horribly, but she is a villain here in my opinion. And Kincaid works for redemption. I don’t think she does. I really liked the change in dynamic with Ryan and Teejay’s family. Ruth is an amazing person for Tonya and Kim.

This was a great secret baby, second chance romance.

Instant sparks between Kincaid and Tonya create a one and done night with a two pink lines result. Circumstances - and misunderstandings - prevent them from having a relationship at this point.

Fast forward five years, Tonya is a single mom and Kincaid is back in her life.

Will they have a chance at love this time?

Good story, likable characters with relatable flaws. Great read.

Tonya was a nanny for a wealthy couple however was treated like a child. Kincaid came to visit his family and was intrigued by the nanny. They hooked up and Teejay,the mother,was furious and left. To yasoon found she was pregnant and told the family she was ill and the family did not know the truth. Working g for a wealthy woman she ended up crossing paths again but it maybe too late.

I had incredibly low expectations and this somehow still didn’t meet them. The plot and pacing were insane, and neither of the main characters were remotely likable. The MMC was terrible to the FMC about 95% of this book and then swung wildly in the opposite direction for no rhyme or reason. The FMC kept getting hurt in weird accidents and vacillated from totally in control adult to immature child at the drop of a hat. This should have been a skip.

Two people who have been torn apart by family members and meet again give years later him finding out his a farther and got mad,until he feel in love with her and their little daughter and then he is told in Christmas morning he is to be a dad again ,and asked her to marry him with a happy yes from her to the future.I would like to say thank you for all your hard work and may fortune smile 😃on you always 😁from a bookworm

great story

The story was pretty great. Love the characters except for when Kincaid was being a jackass. But otherwise it was pretty good. Tanya was a pretty awesome character. He knew what she wanted when she met him and knew he was it but of course things never work out at first he went back to Europe she wound up pregnant and had his baby girl. The story of them coming together was pretty cool except when he was being an ass but other than that was pretty good.

What can I say--hmmm. Strong female lead and likable. Male lead very much an a..hole and for being older seems immature. Good read for a rainy day. Pace was a little slow for me and I wished that there was a little more background to the characters.

Sweet!

Secret Baby with my Boss’s Brother is an enjoyable read. Kincaid is an older, hairy chested bachelor. Tonya is the younger woman who has his baby. The pace is fast and exciting. I did think Kincaid acted like a two year old after finding out about Kim but it all worked out in the end!

Mediocre

The book is okay the storyline is a little boring and the characters are mediocre and the whole thing is pretty predictable. Nanny meets brother of boss has sex gets pregnant he leaves knows nothing about the child shows up five years later throws a hissey when he finds out eventually sorts it out and they all end up hea. That about sums it up.

Great book

I started reading this book this afternoon and finished it before dinner. I couldn't put the book down that's how great it was. I absolutely loved this story. The characters and story had so many ups and downs and ups throughout the book. Heart lifting moments and heartbreaking all rolled into one. This book is a must read!!!!!!

One night stand, ,lots of misunderstandings, going back and forth, heartwarming and heartbreaking at its best. Great storyline and steamy moments, I highly recommend this book. Thanks to the author for providing me with my review copy.
