Dostoyevski’nin böyle mizah dolu bir kitap yazması bile başlı başına bir mutluluk sebebi; yazarın sadece hüzün, yalnızlık ve hastalıktan ibaret olmayan içerik temelli de yazabildiğini gösteriyor. Karakterileri sanki diğer romanlarındakilerin aynısı ancak daha basit halleri ve tabi komik halleri. Neredeyse her sayfasında gülmüşümdür herhalde. Okuması çok zevkliydi.
