“Every day, every moment, every hour, every second— I want you to ink me, bunny.”

4.5/5 3/5 🌶️

Dean, Dean, Dean!!! I had such a blast with this book! It was a short emotionally wild rollercoaster. For a novella there was great character development, individually and as a pair!

I felt so connected to both of mcs. Especially Dean, whose povs were full of angst. He was still trapped in his past, his demeanor and choices were strongly affected by the shackles of his past. His inner monologues had my heart aching for him, they were veiled by a very dark fog. Even though that, he was such a wholesome character. I loved him so much.

And then we have our bunny, aka Lenny, who is literally a ray of pink sunshine! Sure she was naive, but she also was a sweet kind of ambitious, talented and very cheerful!

This was an age-gap and a workplace romance. He is a famous tattoo artist and she is his apprentice. It is safe to say that their relationship gets very complicated fast … their chemistry is electric!! The smut hits in the 70% of the book and it is h o t ! Break the thermometer hot. I loved it!!

I had so much fun with the book even though it broke my heart and made me so emotional!

Did I like it? Yes.
Would I reread it? Sure.

I love the fact these two mains were tattoo artists and had similar vibes but still different.

Lenny is a brand new artist talking to Experit Dean online they formed a bond together and a little flirtyness. It grew, so when Dean wants to bring her into his shop, he puts up a wall and stops talking to her, making it a boss employee now. Which Lenny is okay with and respects his choice she does still feel sad that she had a bond with him. So it's a push away from Dean. But he does give her mixed feelings when he talks or flirts or lets her stay with him. But he pushes away and leaves. I wish Lenny was a little petty and tortured him via camera since he was stalking her in his home.

Should've put on more shows for him. It took a while for him to get his head out of his butt and finally go after her. And all was forgiven. They had such chemistry together

A sweet continuation to the series. This one was far more emotional than the first. Lennon and Dean come from different walks of life but both have had their fair share of tragedy and heartache. This fast paced plot will suck you in and the spice will hold your attention. Your eyes and panties will be 💦moist💦. But seriously what a tear jerker. Loved getting to see our beloved Luka again too! Can’t wait to see who we get to meet next in this series!

If there has to be just one thing I absolutely love when reading a book it would be falling in love with a character so wholeheartedly. I adore Dean so much, everything about him makes you want to smile. From the moment he was introduced I knew I was gonna love him. Kay Jensen really knows how to write a good male character! I didn't think I had a daddy kink.. but after reading Ink me Bunny I just might! 😏 I blushed, I laughed and yes I even cried! Lennon and Dean are the best on their own and amazing together. I throughly enjoyed this book and I am so hoping for another very soon!! No pressure Kay Jensen

Dean is Lennon's favorite tattoo artist and she starts an apprenticeship at his tattoo shop. And although Dean is now Lennon's mentor, the sexual tension and chemistry between them might catch fire...

----------

I loved that this story was a slow burn and that the smut hit much later in the story (but when it hits, trust me, it's rewarding and worth the wait).

While the tension is building, we have the time to learn a lot about their history which helps understand their actions and reactions.

I loved that.

They fit so well together, I just need to get used to the 'Daddy' kink.

I am very excited for the next novella !

"Ink me bunny" was quite short, but I loved it all the same.

Lennon goes to Dean's tattoo artist's shop to be his apprentice for a couple of months. Two months before that, they both formed a connection by chatting online all the time. Of course, it was quite different to see the person you're attracted to in real life. Both of them harbored their feelings for a long time and they were still stubborn to admit them. Especially Dean. Leny accepted her feelings quite fast but she was hurt that he wasn't showing anything when he went on a business trip for 3 months. I was afraid that she would be mad for a while, but thankfully, he manned up fast and was focused on showing her that he felt the same. I honestly understand their hesitation, because their past wasn't easy and each one had wounds that were difficult to heal. But when they finally got together, I could see how deep their feelings were. And not only that, I could definitely feel all the kinky smut that happened. It was literally hot 🥵🥵🥵 and I was there for all of it. I think Kay Jensen did a wonderful job with writing those smutty scenes 😍😍😍. I was really happy reading Lennon and Dean's book.

Overall, I loved the book.

This is the sweetest, emotional and beautiful story of Lennon and Dean. Two lost souls on the journey of life who find each other in the dark.

Lenny our FMC is a beautiful, kind, Young tattoo Artist who is trying to learn, grow and perfect her craft. She has experienced a loss that has hurt her heart and sent her on a path seeking adventure.

Dean our MMC is an established tattoo artist with a rough childhood and a difficult past. He doesn’t trust easily and keeps women at a distance. But Lennon’s tattoos catch his eye and they begin to talk online. It’s a mix of flirtation and tattoo talk that blossoms into a bond.

Lennon lands the apprenticeship of her dreams in Dean’s shop. But now things awkward because Dean is trying to keep it professional and Lennon doesn’t know where they stand. This book is a beautiful story about personal growth, dealing with loss and trauma, the characters finding themselves but also finding their way to each other.

Dean fights his feelings for Lennon so hard! Will he give in and find love or will his past interfere with his ability to let his walls crumble? Will Lennon find herself and grow as a tattoo artist or will Deans resistance to her get in the way? Find out in this emotional, beautiful story.

This guts me. I had to DNF. There’s so many errors and things that just don’t make sense. Sentences and thoughts that don’t fit into the story, just randomly placed. There’s metaphors that are making me rack my brain for how they make any sense. Most of the dialogue is really confusing because there’s next to no dialogue tags, not even the simple ‘he said’ ‘she said’ type, so it’s hard to keep track with who’s saying what.
It hurts because I enjoyed the first novella so much, and I felt like this one was going to be deeper, especially with Dean.

I really enjoyed this book.

I learned to know both characters and I really appreciated how they evolved all along. Lennon and Dean are perfect together and their attraction is undeniable.
Dean has to break down his walls to move on, and Lennon is willing to open her heart to him. It was lovely.
For me this book was better then the first one.

I’m not a huge fan of the Daddy nickname but besides that I loved the spicy part.

Listen. Id give this a solid 2.5. I'm not here for the "daddy" kink. You do you, just not for me. This was a slow burn and the last portion was just wild smut. I understand that's what this series basically is. The lack of a personal is high for the MMC. If you want a slow build up and filth after, this is for you.

I absolutely love Lenny and Dean! And the setting was perfect. What I didn't love is how there were parts of the book where the author would go off on a tangent, and then suddenly it would cut to a whole new scene without any transition. Overall it was a great story.

"He released me from the invisible chains I carried for years."

Ink Me Bunny is full of past trauma, love, loss and traveling the distance to find yourself.

This was a fun second book in this series. Dean and Lennon are two people with missing pieces. They dance around their desires for each other for a long time before finally clicking. It was a sweet slow burn, that caused some tears for me and definitely included some "awwww" moments.

While you don't have to read the first book in this series to enjoy this one, it's worth checking out.

🩷🏄‍♀️🐰Ink Me Bunny is book 2 in the Ink Our Hearts series by
I am emotional writing this review. Kay Jensen has a way with words that just hits me deep to my core and I’m not exactly sure how to describe it in words. What I am sure of is, if you want a beautiful, perfectly paced, spicy, dual POV romance read filled with tragic histories, heartache and true love, then this is the book for you.
🩷🐈‍⬛🏄 Ink Me Bunny captures your heart right from the beginning, and puts a vice grip on it only to be released once you have shed true tears felt for these characters.
🩷🏄‍♀️🐈‍⬛ Lennon is our young, beautiful, charismatic, live your best life FMC. Dean our MMC immediately burrowed into my heart and will continue to live there rent free. His beautiful mind, body and soul vibe enamored me. Lennon and Dean’s chemistry was palpable and the slow burn was the best pure torture. The raw emotions felt by both Dean and Lennon broken from traumatic histories crushed my heart. Thankfully the evolution of their inner selves and their relationship healing each other together was cathartic. The appearance of Luka with his charm and enlightening advice was pure perfection and made me giddy. The addition of the supporting characters turning into found family was another layer to this delightful story.
🐰🩷🏄 This novella was all I was hoping for and so much more. This is easily one of my top reads. Kay Jensen has become a if she writes it I’m reading it author for me.

Thank you Kay for the ARC! All thoughts are my own.

This book was definitely more emotional than the first in the series. Lennon is mourning the loss of her brother, and Dean has some major trust issues among other things. It's a bit of a slow burn, which is a nice change for novella. I'm someone who loves watching the MMC try to fight his feelings for the FMC. Nothing like a guy who's mentally arguing with himself to make me hot and bothered. And man, does Dean bring the heat once things pick up. If you have a "Daddy" kink, Dean is your man.

Like with the previous book in the series, I love a tattoo artist MC! And in this case we get two of them. Plus the surfing was a nice addition as well. I liked that the MCs had a bit of an online relationship before meeting IRL. I think that's something a lot of us can relate to (I know I can).

I really enjoyed seeing Kay find her voice a bit more in this story. This book was super close to 4 stars for me, probably closer to 3.5. I just felt like something was missing that I couldn't pin point. It was a solid read though and if you're a fan of Age Gap, Daddy Kink, Tattooed MC's, then you'll really enjoy this book. And kudos for giving the FMC a sexual piercing! It's about time authors start giving the ladies more hardware downstairs. It's not just for guys!

As always, be sure to check your Trigger Warnings!

I was privileged enough to be given an advanced copy of Ink Me Bunny, and I was pumped to read it. This is the second book in the Ink Our Hearts Series. Honestly, I think this one is my fav so far. It has all the goods:

🐰Experienced tattoo master MMC
🐰AGE GAP (15 years)
🐰Mentor/Mentee
🐰Daddy & degradation
🐰Bunny
🐰 Found Family
🐰Smexy 🌶️🌶️

This book focuses on Lennon/Lenny and her journey through art and tattoos. She is free-spirited and on a journey to find the things that make her happy, for herself and in the spirit of her brother. She starts talking to this tattooist online, who by the way is a famous ink-master type of guy named Dean. He comments and critiques her work…and they form a bond. Lenny applies to be Dean’s apprentice, and their relationship is smooth, yet awkward in many ways. When Lenny’s VW van is towed, she’s forced to stay with Dean…some things happen, others don’t: both of them try to hide the buzzing connection that they feel.

This is a super cool journey, with tough childhood trauma and death of a sibling topics. This book is more gritty and has depth the the characters, more so than the first book. I liked the snippets of flashbacks that were woven into the story. Kudos @kayjensenauthor

Oh man, this book was so incredibly sweet and an amazing showcase of personal growth. Both Lenny and Dean have had some traumatizing pasts that have built walls around them, but they were brought together, which led to them finding their true selves.

Lenny has always been a super sweet, spitfire, adventurous, fun girl, but her entire world is shattered when she loses a piece of her heart.

Dean has built a huge wall around his heart because of his past and the childhood he had to endure.

Lenny has big dreams of being an amazing tattoo artist and follows Dean on his tattooing journey and instantly feels a connection with him. He has a once in a lifetime opportunity to work with him, so of course, she makes that happen. But there are some curveball along the way for them.

Overall, this book had me wanting more and more of these two because their growth was phenomenal and I think everyone can learn a little something from them!

Thank you again, @kayjensenauthor for having me on your team! I can't wait for more from you!

Ink me bunny is a stand-alone novella that is part of the Ink our hearts series which started with ‘Mine for 24 hella hours’. And for a novella this had brilliant character building throughout.

I loved how Lennon and Dean connected in this series and how despite having 2 different pasts it all comes full circle! One who had a bad childhood from the start and has always avoided relationships and commitment, whereas the other had a childhood full of love that was then taken away from them.

The ups and downs within their online chat presence to their new workplace relationship of boss & employee or master & apprentice will have you begging for their professional relationship to slip. But the understanding they have for each other once they open up about their pasts is goals.

This is a slow burn novella that does not disappoint once it get into the spice (65%Ish). And trust me, you’ll love the character building and then the spice! You’ll fall for both main characters and it will make your heartache along side them.

Please check TW before reading this.

The emotionality in this book took me by surprise and my heart broke for both Dean and Lennon. They were both dealing with loss and although their losses were different, both losses were nevertheless heartbreaking. I teared up a few times when reading the backstory of Lennon's loss.

The fast-paced plot had me engrossed in the story and the slow burn had me on pins and needles waiting for Dean and Lennon to finally give in to their sexual tension.

I loved Dean and Lennon's connection. The chemistry between these two was palpable and jumped off the page. Lennon was the ray of sunshine Dean needed to get out of his own head.

Dean! This man experienced unspeakable things in his youth and didn't have the best family growing up. He treasured his found family that much more because of that. I loved how encouraging he was of Lennon's art as a tattoo artist.

Daddy k!nk anyone? It was quite a ride with this one and uuffff, was the spice HOT! Lennon and Dean together was smokin'. Their adventurous spirits really show through.

I liked this book. Was it my favorite no, was it bad also no. It was good, and I would read it again. It's a short novella that follows our 2 main characters Lenny and Dean.

Lenny is a kind and young tattoo artist who is trying to grow and perfect her abilities. She has experienced a loss that hurt her heart. This loss sent her on a path where she seeks adventure.

Dean is an established tattoo artist who had a rough childhood. He does not trust easily and doesn't want to get close to a woman. He is perfectly fine keeping them at a distance.

So when Dean sees Lenny's tattoos they begin to talk online. Lenny lands her dream apprenticeship at Dean's tattoo shop. Even though they were talking online Dean tries to keep things professional. To me this book was about 2 people who come together after talking online, and together these 2 grow as people. It deals with loss, greif, trauma and finding yourself.

I had so much fun reading Ink Me Bunny! Right from the start, I was hooked by the dynamic between the confident, world-traveling tattoo master and the nervous but talented newbie. Their chemistry was everything—playful, intense, and just the right amount of tension to keep me turning the pages.

What I loved most was how real the characters felt. The heroine’s self-doubt? Totally relatable. The hero’s mix of charm and tough-love mentorship? Swoon-worthy. I also appreciated the way Kay Jensen captured the artistry behind tattooing—it wasn’t just a backdrop; it was part of the soul of the story.

The only reason I’m giving this four instead of five stars is that I wanted more! Some moments between them felt a little rushed, and I would have loved even deeper dives into their emotions. But overall, this was a fantastic read—sweet, steamy, and full of heart. If you love stories about finding confidence, chasing passion, and falling for someone who truly sees you, you’ll love this one!

A continuation of the series! As always, please check trigger warnings.

Let's dive in! So the "daddy" trope has never been for me. That being said, I read it and chose to kind of gloss over this part knowing that while it is not for me, this is Kay's second book and an evolution of her writing. This follows Dean and Lennon, both tattoo artists with an age gap, and how they come together to truly appreciate each other and their craft. It was beautiful to behold, truly. I love that Kay is able to mix spice with genuine heartfelt interactions and I felt this book flowed smoother than book one. She has truly taken all feedback and improved her writing, drawing readers in more and more. Even though the primary trope was not for me, I still felt attached to the characters and was able to appreciate the spice. For those that love age gap, daddy, etc, this book is definitely for you!

If this book had a smell, it’s the store Hollister.

Carefree Lennon (Lenny) has her awesome van and her bright pink hair. Tattoo apprentice skyrocketing to becoming and equal to her long time inspiration, Dean Walker. Much older and already a tattoo artist god, Dean takes notice of Lenny over social media. Even through the screen she has captivated him. Will their relationship be platonic and professional? Absolutely not. 2 surfers. Tanned, tattooed, and dripping for each other. HA!

Dean has a filthy, filthy mouth. And wow is it good.

And we got a little surprise visit from Luka. 💖

Easy, carefree read. I could hear the ocean, smell the coconut. Loved it. 🌊

A continuation to what is an epic series!

Starting off this journey with a simple dream of being a successful tattoo artist in a big city, everything seems otherwise simple for young Lennon—but the story progresses into an amazing ride and reveals there’s more to the surface!

Lennon sets off to this new gig training under Dean—a professional tattoo artist—in attempt to establish her skills, and to enjoy the presence of our darling Dean after developing a bit of a crush for him. Dean and Lennon’s relationship sparked from innocent chat messages and bloomed into something much more complex yet so beautiful. Throughout the story, readers are taken on a ride of tear jerking tragedies, knee-buckling spice, and heartfelt moments that’ll leave you changed forever!

This book truly was a joy to read, and I have no doubt you’ll love having read it!

Ink me Bunny: Book two of the Ink our hearts series (arc read) by Kay Jensen

Well Kay has done it again with the second book in the novella series!
Very different from the first book but equally as good!
I fell in love with Lennon’s character straight away. Her story line, her relationship with her brother. I can relate.
Deans age was hard to pass up but then age is just a number so who am I to judge!
I love how Dean and Luka (from book one) catch up with each other and are mates. From having read both books it’s easy to picture them being friends!
I enjoyed the introduction of the side characters (Dean’s friends).

Spicy, Spicy as always🌶️

The storyline on this one had me!
