rewrite of previous book Tying the Knot

Character names and story are the same as Omegaverse title Tying the Knot by this author. Disappointed in the cash grab.

I finished this book but I haven't read something so confusing and all over the place in along time. The writing was so unclear at points that even rereading parts, I still couldn't make heads or tails of what was happening especially during the spicy parts. And the spicy scenes were such a let down. I don't need every book I read to be pure smut, but I thought this was going to be spicer than it was. Seriously, the spice sucked. It felt way too quick for all the drama and the instalove just missed the mark. I did not feel any growth or development for the main characters.

Loved it

What starts out as the second worst birthday in her life, turns into being the best thing that ever happens to her. Little did Morgan know that one little dinner date would change her entire life.
This book is hot, sweet and all about learning about yourself.

Starting Over has never been so good! When the world she has always known is ripped out from under her, Morgan finds herself alone, betrayed and not knowing where she now stands in the world after the life she’d known was blown to pieces. That is, until the three handsome strangers come barrelling into her life. Can Morgan convince them that they’re meant to be? Is the “Why Choose” world something that will entice these men to stay? Will the dangers that lurk in the shadows convince them that Morgan is worth saving?

This book had everything! Drama, pace, suspense moulded together beautifully by moments of passion, love and adoration. Eve Newton has once again proved that she’s found her niche, creating this beautiful tale of starting over and all the wonderful possibilities that can give you. I was hooked from the first page and desperate to read all about Morgan’s quest for new beginnings.

The plot was packed with moments of suspense, tension, pace which was beautifully intercepted with moments of genuine heartwarming substance that brought you back into the moment. It was beautifully done and exactly the right balance to create something so extraordinary yet so relatable.

Once again, Eve created a bad ass female that wasn’t scared to be vulnerable or show her cards. I loved how relatable she was in the prospect of starting over. In addition to this, the men were strong, brooding and beautiful characters that were unafraid to show all the facets of their masculinity; the vulnerable, softer and intensely protective and caring sides. By the end of the book, you felt that you knew these characters. You felt immersed in the story and embraced by their adventures.

In addition to this, the steam! Those. Moments. They were everything! Intense, immersive and beautifully weaved together, they added to the storyline by providing moments of intense passion that made your knees weak and your heart race. In those moments, I think we all wished we were Morgan. I know I did. I lived for them and they elevated the storyline.

I adored this book. I know for sure many others would too. I can’t wait to see what Eve comes up with next!

When life gives you poo-y glitter, find your umbrellas and spray your perfume!

She can buy her own flowers but she finds the men who want to buy her the flowers, write their names in the sand and who want to take her dancing and can definitely love her better than he ever did.

I loved Morgan's story so much. She is left alone when her husband is arrested and an entire Pandora's box is opened and the crap sprinkles throughout everything she knows, like poo smelling glitter.
But this is a romcom Rh and the funnies and warm fuzzies bury the crap that's raining down on her head.
The guys who arrested her husband becomes her umbrella to the shitey glitter.
She's not alone, she has the best time finding who she is and who they are.
When life comes crumbling down, pull up your big girl pants and go marching into the world with a big middle finger showing

Starting over is probably the best title for Morgan's story, especially after the proverbial rug is ripped from underneath her! Morgan was betrayed by someone she trusted, and is completely alone after the life she had blew up in her face. Not literally but it was really bad. Enter, three handsome guys that are the brooding and strong type, but also had some softer attributes too, sweetly enough! I honestly thought that between Morgan's characters and the guys, it was a great mix.

Even though Morgan is dealt a horrible hand and the guys are the ones who arrested her husband, the find their way to work together. It's a great lesson that I'm sure we can all take something from, that when life gets you down, come back swinging.

Can't wait to see what comes next!

The title is such a perfect fit for this story! Morgan is living a happy life until everything gets flipper on its axis, and she is faced with the secret her husband had kept. She has to face starting her life again and eesiscovering who she is.

I absolutely loved how relatable Morgan is, and getting to see her interactions with Elijah, Kaleb, and Dylan were just perfect and real. There is plenty of steam while also throwing you a healthy dose of humor. I could not get enough of their story and loved watching their bond grow and how much they cared for each other. This was a heartwarming and relatable story!

I so enjoyed this story. Morgan the FMC was so sweet. I think I loved her more towards the middle to end of book when she really started coming out of her shell. Storyline hooked me right in at the beginning. I just felt for Morgan so much. She was so lost. But then wow it picks right up when she meets Eli,Dylan and Kaleb. Can’t pick a favorite guy I loved them all. This story is definitely going to be a favorite of mine. Great storyline and the steam is so so good. Definitely a must read. Loved it!!!

2nd read

About 3 pages in, I realized I had read this before. About 5 pages in, I settled myself down to finish this again because it’s exactly what I needed.

An FMC who’s battered and bruised but not broken by her abusive, criminal husband. Three knights in combat gear who’ve been holding out for their princess. They overcome all the obstacles in their way…together. HEA guaranteed. None of the drama comes from in the relationship. As she heals and finds her inner strength, they support her and melt for her. <3

This is absolutely LAZY writing on the author! The entire story is a complete repackaging, almost word-for-word of her Omegaverse book, Tying the Knot. The only difference is she removed the Omegaverse and repackaged this as a contemporary RH standalone. Most likely this is an effort to make a quota of getting a new book out without putting in the effort of developing a new story, characters, or situations. A complete failure to your reader base...it's very disappointing to start a "newly released" book only to realize you've already read it under a different title.

Everything in Morgan's (FMC) perfect life is turned completely on its head on a night out to celebrate her birthday. Dropping her into a new reality that has her eyes opened to navigate. With plenty of lies kept from her by her underhand husband a new start is in order and she finds help in the most unexpected place from Eli, Dylan and Kaleb. Three caring guys who were sweet and protective of Morgan. As well as bring on the steam that was hot as hell. A cracking read.

Fantastic rom-com with love, laughter and a dash of anger. I've always been told good things come to those who wait and for our mmc's they've been waiting their whole lives, so when the **** hits the fan for our FMC and her world is flipped upside down making our MCs meet you're left with one heck of a story to read and reread just to keep these characters in your life for longer.
Warning this will make you search for a perfume/scent that so far I can't find!

Starting Over is a RH romance that has a unique premise and plot. I had a lot of fun reading the standalone romance with all of the emotions that it evoked. I couldn't help but feel sympathize toward Morgan. I know for sure I won't be looking at chocolate oranges the same..... you'll know what I'm talking about when you get to that scene. It will defiant give a differnt perspective/way to look at them. I highly recommend this fun rom com RH romance.

Eve gives us another wonderful book! On Morgan's 31rst birthday, her entire seemingly perfect life is shredded and she learns that nothing is what she thought. While reeling from this she meets Elijah, Dylan and Kaleb. When they find out that she is in danger, they rush to her defense. This starts a sweet, sexy emotional story that is beautifully written with complex characters and plot twists. I totally loved reading this story and highly recommend it. Don't miss out on this wonderful book!!

Loved this book! Morgan finds out her perfect life really isn’t so perfect. Her birthday is ruined as she finds out her husband isn’t the man she thought he was - getting arrested for being tied deep into the criminal world. The arresting officers come to her aid, and sweep her off her feet. This story is fun, heartfelt, and deliciously steamy!

okay

The writing was great but the plot was meh in my opinion. I don’t know if it was the switch from omega verse to contemporary but somewhere along the line it just didn’t do it for me. I did finish it because I wanted to see if it would grasp me. It didn’t. So 3/5 starts and about that for spice.

This is a nice novel! The way the story flows is amazing I love Morgan as FMC as she is suddenly in a life changing moment and how does she survive? The guys, all law enforcement fall for her quickly but don't give in immediately as she is married. Loved it!

Story 2.5⭐️ Spice 3🌶️
This book should have stayed in the omegaverse. I get wanting to branch out into different markets, but that was not executed well at all. There were so many inconsistencies and outlandish insta love that it was no where near the real world.

I got to chapter 15 then gave up. There's nothing wrong with the story, It's just that everything feels a bit off and the characters are not very relatable or likable, in my opinion.
