Nathan Burrows is a writer based in Norfolk in the United Kingdom. His debut novel, Blind Justice, was published in March 2018.
Nathan's a keen reader as well as a writer. He occasionally runs marathons, has a Norwich City football club season ticket, and is the proud part-owner of a Daschund puppy called Bertie.
The preacher, Caleb, is embroiled in a new story involving an evil plot, a precious relic, and two cultish organizations. He encounters Anita, a woman on the run who has some vital information downloaded from a cult computer.
Written in his usual well-paced style, this book four in The Preacher series continues the author’s compelling thriller tales.
This book will certainly keep you on the edge of your seat throughout! Caleb, the main character, is once again amazing in his ability to problem-solve on the run and get the job done. The setting this time is Italy. His uncanny knack of finding people in need and sensing darkness is once again apparent in this riveting novel. Plenty of action in this diabolical plot by a religious cult operating with less-than-godly methods which also includes ancient religious artifacts and stolen data that will change everything if not stopped. A bit slower than the other Preacher books, because of (in my opinion) the depth of the details and descriptors, but a great read nonetheless. Contains all the elements you would expect in a well-written action thriller. Looking forward to the next in this really good series. Highly recommend this book and series.
A very well researched and written novel though a bit less fast paced than his earlier books in this series. It does require a tad more concentration to bring it all together at the conclusion, but very enjoyable and will be continuing the series as it becomes available....Would give it a solid 4.25 - 4.5 stars and recommend it highly. Research was exceptional.
Caleb once again meets someone who needs his help. Anita stole information from a group of evil people, that decieve people into thinking they are Godly when they are actually pure evil. Anita needed Caleb,s help protecting her and the information she stole. Caleb, drove a moped, climbed a very steep ledge, but, he is unable to drive a stick shift !! This book is action from the first few pages to the last. Looking forward to Book 5.
Excellent, that's all I can say. I really enjoyed reading this book. Caleb is not a typical preacher even though he quotes from the bible. I can't wait to read the next book.
Caleb uses relationship with an abbot who has some unusual contacts to face challenges from a diabolical billionaire. How does Burrows finds such obscure religious facts to weave such a cunning and clever story? Amazing.
Caleb, the Preacher, is now tracking down an evil man who is hoping to recreate the DNA of Jesus and fake the second coming. Action makes this book a fast exciting read.
Need to read 1. The Preacher 3. The Soldier & 5. The Phantom
Like the others in the Preacher series this keeps you in it right till the end. Lots of excitment and twist turns. I did find the part in the Vatican a little unnecessary but other then that it was a very exciting story.
Another good tale, it’s a bit formulaic but i like that you sort of know what you are going to get but this had an interesting religious twist looking forward to the next
This author has a unique way of bringing characters together. Caleb is by far, one of my favorite all-time characters. Each book has taken him to places and people with stories that captivate. Thank you for bringing him to life!
