This was just ok. Uh some far future, an old extra powerful Luke Cage mixes up with a super charged up Moon Knight/Konshu. Konshu and trying to take everything and Luke was trying to stop him. The last page was interesting tho.
This was good. I like that Marvel tells a whole new story while teasing their upcoming year but honestly I think I’d just prefer sneak peaks at the upcoming stories. Very excited for the Blood Hunt event. The rest of Gang War will probably be fun, there’s a lot to look forward too.
A new tradition at Marvel... Write a single issue story that teases the ENTIRE COMING YEAR @ Marvel...
Power Man vs Iron Fist taken to '11', really. In some future timeline Khonshu has turned Danny Rand into his Immortal Moon Knight and he plans on harvesting the souls of the population of future Earth(?). The only thing standing in his way is a mega, super, overpowered Power Man.
As with all the Timeless issues, there's flashes of 'history' that are the various storylines that will be told in the current year.
2,5/5. An original story but a case of just not for me. The art wasn't to my taste and I have to admit that Luke Cage and iron Fist aren't near my top 20 super-heroes. Still promising for the Marvel 2024 with new series coming in and maybe a change of style that would be welcome after two not really good years.
Marvel's comic that they put out each year to tease the year's upcoming stories. This one is about an Old Man Luke Cage fighting Old Man Moon Knight for the fate of the Earth. I quite liked it and I can't always say that about Lanzing's and Kelly's writing.
