Nothing makes people more vulnerable than having to open up. And for someone like Jasmine Stewart who has so much hidden, it’s terrifying to have people know her secrets. Especially when people generally don’t react well to learning them. But life goes on, and when you have people who truly love you, they won’t let the darkness eat you and help you get back on your feet. She has to rely on their strength now to keep things going given how many threats the demons face. This isn’t the first time she’s overcome the odds and shown people she isn’t someone to mess with… And it won’t be the last. We all wish it was, but no one could be so foolish to think that. Maybe this time it won’t be so bad to take on too much because she won’t be lonely doing it. She was never alone in the battles to help demons, but that’s not the same as feeling as if you’re all on your own. And she’s not anymore. Untraceable Succubus is a crime series where the sex is hot and often, and the main character kicks some serious ass on the road to finding out if she can have real love in her life even if it comes from multiple men. *This book is part of a series and cannot be read as a standalone. Like all my books, this is not light and fluffy and includes dark themes and events some may find triggering. Reader discretion is advised.
Erin is a born Chicagoan who decided to state hop a bit, given she works from home. She currently resides in Georgia with her pup, Lord Vader Flynn. With an eclectic and addictive personality, there isn’t much that doesn’t interest her or she won’t pour herself into if it catches her fancy. She has always been interested in the darker aspects of life and mythologies—especially vampires, shifters, the occult, and anything paranormal.
To date, she has published more paranormal books than she can keep up with the characters for, in different genres with dedicated readers who await each release to her numerous series under any of the three Flynn names she writes.
While I love all of Erin’s series, I think overall this one doesn’t get enough attention (from fans/readers, not Erin). I see less comments about on Discord, etc it seems despite the fact I find the plot as intriguing as Artemis and more than Enchantress or others. Hoping for more in the future!
As for this book specifically: While I did like some of the early moments with Dylan in the series, I did see red flags early on in regards to him just not truly hearing her and I never liked how it seemed he and Aidan were so antagonistic towards one another but then quickly went to ganging up on her, even behind her back. So I was glad to see that addressed here. It seems his attitude/current approach is a bit extreme now compared to what I thought his personality was originally, but I guess some of that could be allocated to his “bear side”. Either way, I did think it was best he was removed from the harem. Still have a few issues in regards to Aidan and consent that happened in book 1, but overall he’s shown growth and has truly apologized. Love the twins and Mason is still my fave. I would have liked to see an interaction with Bain. I get her attitude of avoiding at the end to salvage a possible friendship since his Mom is leader… but it felt a tad bit unrealistic (or out of character) from his end that he would just drop off without a word after being so bold with his approach to pursue (announcing via television after fight, confronting his mother, etc.) I assume this will be addressed in the future. I liked him initially, but the lack of any response feels like he needs to have zero future in the harem either.
Overall, I loved the book. Just as I do all or Erin’s works; however, my only VERY MINOR complaint is that this is dubbed a “crime series”… somewhat like Sera. Both series started similar where external cases were involved early on and then kinda dwindled and books become more just internal corporation matters or harem related. That’s not a complaint that I don’t want those items addressed or that any should be excluded. I know serum has a hundred balls in the air with developing all the many intricacies of her book plots and storylines. It’s always a lot to cover in one book each time. Just saying sometimes I do miss the approach of the early books where Sera/Jasmine are a bit more in PI/agent mode.
Love you Erin!! Keep up the good work. We appreciate you more than you know.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review: Untraceable Succubus Series by Erin R. Flynn
I absolutely loved Jasmine’s story (so far)! This series was such a fun, engaging read - it gave me the same addictive vibes as the Morrigan University series (seriously, read both if you haven’t already).
Between Sera and Jasmine, I’ve got to say, Jasmine wins hands down. She feels like a more well-rounded character, and her guys treat her so much better - plus, she doesn’t take crap from anyone. Total win. I just wish we got to see her badass side a little more often and maybe give the fellas some extra page time. Still, I adore her.
Now, can we talk about Mason, Evan, and Owen? Absolute favorites. Can we please have a series where the FMC actually gets treated right by at least a few of her men? Don’t make them all turn awful later - there are good men out there! These three even adopted a puppy together, and honestly, you can’t break up a happy puppy family, Erin. Mudbug deserves this. These three stay, or I ride at dawn.
Aiden - though… still on the fence. The tracker thing is a major red flag, and everything that went down at the Berlin club and with the Vampire Council just gives me the ick. Can we maybe swap his creepy ancient vampire energy for Tristan? He and Sera are done anyway, and he’s out traveling the world… just saying.
Dylan - I’d love to smack some sense into him (but keep the spicy scenes, those were chef’s kiss). He’s just too pushy. So much Lion-Tiger-Bear energy, oh my! Speaking of Lions… didn’t Phil have that special “reaction moment” with Jasmine? Hint hint, nudge nudge. I like Phil. Team Phil all the way.
Bain - He feels a bit too immature for Jasmine right now. Maybe with time he’ll grow into himself, but at the moment, he reads more like a friend than a romantic match.
And that connection with David? I need more! Maybe not instant baby-making levels, but something deeper - a dream sequence with the elves, perhaps? (That might be a safe way to avoid the instant baby situation, LMFAO.)
Lastly, Elijah - a.k.a. Demon Daddy - deserves a bonus scene. Maybe one where he, uh, “taps the bestie”? Who said that? Marlon Brando?
Bottom line: I need more Jasmine stories ASAP. She’s officially my second-favorite FMC in all of Flynn’s books. Also just saw that book 5 is about to drop for Morrigan university too this week - ahhh so excited!!
Read on KU. This is an amazing series. I put off starting it for ages because I didn't think it'd be something I like but I love the author so I picked up book 1 then did stop till I ran out of books! This continues the story and was great at furthering the storyline. Read them in order - each has its own plot but in order you get how the story and characters grow
I loved her putting herself first. She saw a toxic relationship and dealt with it. She told her friends what they did wrong and clarified her feelings and they listened. I loved that. She is trying to have healthy relationships and it shows throughout the book. I am glad that the author is giving a little to this character. I believe that in doing so she is showing that having healthy relationships is good for the soul.
So many expectations that were established when Mason was introduced either faded away or turned sour. Too much of this book was about how Jasmine was overextended and dealt with logistics. I thought some very interesting characters were neglected and the ending seemed out of character. If Jasmine is just going to settle into routine, I hope that the author pursues the neglected storylines with other characters in this corporation.
I could not put it down.. ok I have not been able to put down any of Erin's books that I have read (and some of the different series I have read start to finish 4+ times) I cannot wait to see where Jasmine's story goes. Each character is vibrant, I love the lore and how much of the world is incorporated
Erin does it again. I love the worlds she builds and the people in them. I don't necessarily like all the characters or situations but they are always in service to the story. Eagerly awaiting the next adventure, the next story and the next person she crafts so well.
I am inspired by how BA Jasmine is. She had a breakdown but then got back up and strutted her way back to the top. She does exactly what is needed to protect her people. I am so excited that I found this series because the demons are so awesome and I enjoy more of their story.
Erin is one of my favorite authors. However, this is not my favorite series. I tend to skip over the steamy scenes. The story besides the steamy scenes is engaging so 4 stars. I get that the steam is integral to the plot, I mean the character is a Succubus, but not really my thing. I rather enjoy the rest of the characters.
I felt this was a bit of a drag I think for myself I have forgotten what went on in the other previous books I reread the first book again to try and remember all the characters, while I love this author I just feel her series go on too long and I find myself losing interest but I do love that her heroine's are superheroes
Wow! I’ve been waiting for this book. I love all of her series but this one truly is my favorite. I love how all of her series deal with real problems and while the sex scenes are amazing her books are about so much more than that. Thank you Erin Flynn for putting out good in the world and writing such amazing books. I eagerly look forward to the next one.
Erin is one of my favorite authors! I have devoured almost every one of her books. If you like a tough, no nonsense, and take no prisoners female lead who takes care of business and also has a sweet (and sometimes confused) side, this series is for you. I have read and reread this series and anxiously await the next book(s)!!
It’s been a while since I read this series and the only way I could keep up with all the people was the notes I made earlier. That said it is a great series which I will eventually reread to have the full context. I Iove this series and Sera’s as a case per book really helps with the quality and not just the continuous stuff.
I reread the other books to get caught up and am so glad. I loved seeing the progress and how she grew and learned so much. I'll have more thoughts and ideas as I let the story sink in.
Some definite growth and change in this book! I'm so proud of Jasmine for figuring out some of what she wants and making it happen, for making good choices and staying true to herself. What a great addition to the series!
As always, Erin coming through with absolute banger of a book! I have missed this series, so im so happy that this got update! The story was engaging, cliffhangers driving us crazy in best way possible as always. Keep up good work Erin, we love you!
Really enjoyed this! Only downloaded it last night 😂 I’m sad it hasn’t worked out with one of her men. But good to see her finally getting the love she needs.
Jasmine may never have a quiet life but she is finally gathering people around her who care for her as much as she does them. She is forever saving so many that sometimes she just needs someone to save her from herself.
I love the story and how descriptive you are. Jasmine's growth emotionally is wonderful and the strength of will she has is tremendous. Thank you for sharing this alternate reality with us. 🥰🥰
I gave this book 5 stars because I enjoyed it and how the plot is progressing. The characters are layered and thought out very well. Rh. no m/m. Cursing is used fluently and abuse is mentioned often, so be aware if that is a trigger.
Love these books! Love learning more about the characters and seeing the different relationships mesh. The story cohesion and on going plot is still engaging and getting more pieces of the picture.
Fantastical! I hope there will be more. Love the world building. The characters. Everything. The way you put pieces together in all your work, always leave me wanting more.
I absolutely enjoyed this story, just how I like my books. I especially liked the ending, it was long overdue. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next one, unfortunately there’s no release date, yet. I will keep an eye out. Absolutely 5 stars.
Another good read. I’m surprised how much I have enjoyed the series. The blurb of the book is nothing like the series and I am glad I read it after so long not taking the chance. Characters are awesome
Thoroughly recommend this author. All her series have strong characters & detailed plots. Genuinely cant put them down until I finish all the available books.
I feel like I already read this book. Names were changed is all. Nothing surprised me in it, nothing had me wondering how the heroine was going to survive the situation.
