A grumpy goblin. A witch with baking magic. A recipe that brings them together.
Pamina Silveri is the best baker in town. Her delicious pastries and sunny personality are enough for the townsfolk to overlook her scandalous patronage and witchiness. Full-figured and sweet tempered, she catches the eyes of many eligible young men. But her heart longs for a true love match like the ones her sisters have found.
Lorenzo Bartoli has endured hardship after hardship, leaving him bitter and guarded. When their estranged father passes away, leaving him and his sister his abandoned bakery, Lorenzo travels to the quaint mountain town to see the shop their father abandoned them for.
In need of a fresh start, Lorenzo reluctantly agrees to take over the bakery. There’s just one neither sibling inherited their father’s baking talents. When a beautiful, kind-hearted witch offers to help them, Lorenzo agrees. He’s determined to keep things strictly business, but the more time he spends with her, the more he finds himself warming up to the possibility of love.
Can Pamina melt his icy heart, or will things end in heartache for both of them?

This series isn’t the greatest thing I’ve ever read, but damn it’s cute and I’m glad to spend my money on baking and magic and a self-published author who gets conversations started.
Once again we have a very straightforward narrative which branches off into important topics like reconciling generational guilt and its relationship to mental health, racism, body-shaming, the danger of making assumptions, and personal growth before successful partnership.
“The Goblin’s Bride” is my favorite of the series so far. Individually and together, Pamina and Lorenzo are the most realistic characters who you want to see succeed. And it made me do the least amount of work to enjoy and see the whole world built around Zamerra.
Paired with the music of Aviino and Blue Wednesday for a happy but mature vibe.
The Silveri Sisters deliver another solid installment! The “refuses to communicate/misunderstanding” isn’t my favorite romance trope, but I do enjoy a grumpy/sunshine pairing, which made up for the moments of “just talk to each other!” I appreciate Pamina - her empathy, her unpushiness but also her ability to stand up when needed. Our new goblin characters were also strong additions to the cast. With the rotating perspectives I do miss spending time with previous characters. I hope the author continues to expand this world after the five sisters individual stories are told and maybe we get additional books peeking back into the lives of everyone. The cast of characters really make me what to spend a vacation in this idyllic town.
There are five Silveri sisters. All witches with different talents. This is the third book in the series and is Pamina's story. I do like the highlighting of each sister's stories separetly, with all the family as "background" cast. Each family member is mentioned and a hint as to stories yet to be told are tiny Easter eggs spread throughout the story. Pamina is a lush earthy witch with magical skills in the kitchen. She aches to have a love story as special and full as her sister's but has almost resigned herself to never finding it. Can the belligerent half goblin, new to town and anxious to leave, be the one to win her heart? Is she the one to melt his? The answer comes with alot of stolen glances and misunderstandings. I enjoyed the ride. I received a free reader's copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my opinion of the tale.
Cute shorted read. I love that this series tells the tale of a different sister while still having tidbits of the other sisters stories as well! Such a sweet little story!
This third installment of her series was the shortest but also the weakest. I didn't feel as if we saw enough of the internal turmoil both characters had with their own traumas. I would have just liked to see more heartfelt deeper moments like we had in the first two books. In Warlocks bride they both had such deep issues they confronted together and in Faes bride we saw a man and woman come together despite the odds. In the Goblins bride we really didn't see much other than a man who was constantly rude to the girl her likes and a lack of love declarations and more of him staring at her ass. It was for sure eye rolling every time I heard him say he was looking at her backside or her curves. Like damn can he just compliment how sweet she is for once? I also would have liked to see maybe more of a family moment with this man. I feel like if this book had gone to maybe 260 pages, then some of these things could have been fixed or maybe this man needs to be scrapped and rewritten.
Not the worst thing I have ever read but because I liked her first two so much, I went into this having really high expectations.
I am really enjoying this series, the sisters are all so different but similar in that they all want someone to love them. With her mother having had visions about 2 of her sisters Pamina is sure she'll never find love because her mother hasn't had a vision of her but when the bakery owner dies and his son and daughter move to town she finds that she is attracted to the grumpy goblin who now owns the bakery. But, having faced rejection all his life, will Lorenzo let himself fall for the enchanting witch that is teaching his sister to bake? Love the development of their relationship, even with all the misunderstandings! Looking forward to Serafina's story next.
1.5 ⭐️ first of all the vibes in this series are immaculate! it’s so cozy and cute, however, I felt like the romance in this book was super rushed. like the main characters didn’t even really start to talk to each other until like halfway through and then they just like… confessed their love? based on what. also getting engaged a week into their relationship is INSANE BEHAVIOR I was just a little disappointed bc the romance in the second book in this series felt a lot more thought out than this one. but honestly I think I’m still going to read the rest of the series, the setting is just soooo good

Is it possible for someone to be more determined to misunderstand, more touchy or more overprotective than Liliana Silveri? Apparently, the answer is yes - and his name is Lorenzo Bartoli. It is a good thing that Pamina Silveri finds more to love in him than in the local wannabe lothario. This tale reminds me of Landi's "Once upon a Cake" (or maybe I just like cozy romantasies set in bakeries). Sweet, warm and comforting - this is a good tale to read and relax with - with a cup of tea and a snack at hand.
The broody, burned-by-a-previous-lover Lorenzo falling for soft-spoken, always gentle, gifted baker Pamina over the course of the book is an absolute delight. The mentions of cooking delectable food and baking delicious pastries is the cherry on top!
Giulia is wonderfully written and for her tenacity for doing, well, everything she does through the book, she's a half-goblin after my own heart.
The idea of a large, happy family, chock-full with it's quirks and the occassional sisterly dispute is heartwarming. And the idea of the enchanted villa is just magnificent, IMO.
This one left me feeling all warm and fuzzy and craving freshly baked pastries along with a strong coffee.
There are five Silveri sisters. The sisters are witches- but each has a different ability. This book is the third in the series and covers Pamina. Pamina is an earthy witch with magical skills in the kitchen. She wishes for her own love, but has given up. There is a half goblin that has come to town. Read this story to find out if there is a happy ever after. I enjoyed reading this story.
A cozy fantasy romance filled with warmth, magic, and baked treats. When a grumpy goblin baker and a sunny witch with baking magic are brought together, sparks fly in the most heartwarming way. With grumpy–sunshine charm, cottagecore vibes, and a sweet slow-burn romance, this story is perfect for fans of cozy fantasy and magical love stories.
Pamina and Lorenzo’s story was so sweet and I fell in love with both characters! I have enjoyed the Silveri sister’s journey and I’m sad that I’m all caught up. I can’t wait for the next book to come out and to read Ella’s story!
Bakeries, family secrets & romantasy? This was a short cute wholesome romance filled with longing and hope for a happy ending plus Grumpy sunshine which is always a good idea
Lovely book to end the year with. Looking foreward to read about the last two sisters. This serie is like a hot cup of tea by the fire while it storms outside.
This book was so sweet. I loved the characters and how the connection was built. I love how cozy and warm this made me feel and loved all the familiar characters from previous books
4.75⭐️ The sweetest, coziest love story! Just what I needed in this winter time. Literally had me giggling and kicking my feet in the air. The best one in the series ,yet, in my opinion.
The healing magic of food This begins with the community coming together, with food, after the funeral of a local shopkeeper. Fresh-baked goods just may be the new start these two recent orphans need. Readers are treated to a sweet and savory romance that slowly builds up like scrumptiously warm bread.
A perfect read for cooler soup weather – makes me want to throw together some minestrone!
What’s cookin’ with the other two sisters? We’ll find out in the upcoming ‘The Wolf’s Bride’ and ‘The Druid’s Bride’.
This was another amazing installment of The Silveri Sisters series. This one was cozier than The Warlock’s Bride, but both Pamina and Lorenzo have trauma in their past, and they have a number of conversations about how to overcome those who have hurt us. I thought this was balanced perfectly between romance, humor, and seriousness. Something that carries through all of the books is the meaning of family. I absolutely adore the Silveri family, and the sisters act like real sisters. In this book, Lorenzo (the hunky half-goblin), has a delightful sister, Guilia. She was a great addition to the cast, and I hope we see more of her!
I don't think I've ever read a book with the grumpy/sunshine trope. I think I like it! Lorenzo is carrying a lot of baggage from the past- a father who abandoned him and a broken engagement. He has so much anger and sadness. His heart's been broken multiple times. Then he meets Pamina. She understands his heartache and encourages him to forgive & forget, to move forward in happiness. It's hard, but he finally comes around and admits his feelings for her. Such a lovely romance!
