I am mad at Stephanie. How dare she end this book with the biggest cliff hanger I've ever had. OH MY GOD x1000000
All the stuff we all learned reading the book still has my gasping and what I've read. My brain is still processing everything I've learned and oh my god. Oh my f-ing GOD (or gods?)
This is my favourite book so far in the Hellbeast series easy. The amount of romance and love and adoration I feel from not just Ella/Jared but from Keria/Dom to Amelia/Lucius to Pip/Adam all the way to Libby/Frank.
We've seen so much of Ella and Jared and their interactions with Libby and Frank that I fall in love a little more in their family every time they're mentioned. I've learned and gotten to know more about them as a family and honestly can't wait to see where this family goes

"The HellBeast's Soul" begins seamlessly at the end of "The HellBeast's Past". The Summoner Games are coming to an end. Jared, Orth, Marcus and Asher have little chance of surviving... at least until a surprising twist occurs. This further twist influences the rest of the story and ultimately brings Jared and Ella back together... at least until the end, when Ella is forced to make a decision.
- Surprisingly, the cliffhanger at the end of the book doesn't bother me much. However, I hope #10 won't be too long in coming.
I would love to give spoilers, but since there are some unforeseeable surprises here, I don't want to spoil the reading fun for others. Just this much... not everyone here is the person we seem to think they are. And it gets romantic... Jared brings out all the guns for Ella. Ella in turn is a mystery of secrets with an unexpected family relationship to a person close to Jared in the past. All of this was well staged by Stephanie Hudson.

Stephanie has blown me away again with the 9th book in this series.
I love her story telling and how you feel like you are a part of the story being told as she takes you on a journey along with her characters Ella and Jared. This last book was about Ella becoming a summoner and what that means to her and Jared, plus the part where she blew in and took control of the summoner book was just brilliant.
This author can make you laugh out loud then make you shed a tear all in one sentence, i can't get enough of her books as she is a one click author for me and this series is a must read. That ending "WHAT" she has done it again with leaving us with a huge cliff hanger of epic proportions. I need the next book to see what happens in the next instalment as the twists of this story is just mind boggling.

I love the Hellbeast series so much lol not only do you have Ella and Jared but you see more of ALL the characters you fell in love with in the other series (well except Vincent which is sad lol) while there where events in the book that took you by surprise. I do feel like this one did have A LOT of Easter eggs leading up to some major reveals.. Like Franks bombshells and then I do feel like she eased us into there being more with Lerna but I won't lie I didn't think it was that they were freakin family! I also laughed bc she basically pointed a bright light 💡 on Ella being pregnant with her emotions being all over, her eating habits and how while unintentional she wasn't drink her beer as much 😎Definitely a great read 🫶🏻 Can't wait to see how Ella decimates that BIOTCH Lerna and kicks Garmr out of his false place of power in book 10!!

This is one of my favorite series of all time starting with afterlife. I don't do spoilers because I don't like to read them. But this one left me with a lot of questions. Like where was Vincent at the meeting of all the king on New Year's Eve. Then we have Frank with what he revealed. Totally blew my mind, but I love it. But I do not like the way it ended. I knew it was going to end on the cliffhanger. This one had me laughing and crying and happy and sad. I wish I would have waited to read it until HellBeast10 comes out. Please don't let it be very long till it is released. I don't think my heart could take it. I totally love you Stephanie Hudson and I hope there's a story for ortho and Asher.

Holy cow this book just keeps giving me all the drama! I was not expecting at all about Frank! It alsoeans his threats against Jared were wayyyyy more valid than anyone realized. I was definitely like I didn't see that coming. Right along on this drama train is something I was fully expecting once she stopped drinking out of no where! I was like oh girl. I wish she was able to tell Jared this book because he would have lost his shit, especially after she said yes. Then to end this crazy train! I was not expecting 1. For Ella to realize she is an old soul and her past to some extent and 2. Who she was related to, and what that means for Jared and his past and what that means for him amd Ella. I'm sad this is the end until the next book comes out. I'm definitely invested

Wow. Heavenly heart and soul shattering, beautifully healing, heart stopping.
Stephanie Hudson has done it again, there is no other author out there who can write in such a way whereas you have no choice but to be pulled in by your soul and feel everything as if it is happening to you. I am eternally astonished and forever grateful for the gifts that are her stories, they'll take you on such an incredible journey full of love, laughter, tears, courage, soul searching and earth shattering moments. I can't wait for more. X

Holy H€llbeast!
I would give book 9 twice as many stars if I could! This was most certainly worth the wait! And Stephanie certainly didn’t disappoint us!
The Summoner games were mind boggling. Especially once Marcus and Orth joined Altas and Jared in the cells. But that last battle?? When Ella appears? Awesome!!!
If you’ve been following Jared and Ella’s trials and tribulations then you surely do NOT want to miss this!! I am waiting on pins and needles for the wrap up to their story.

Genius
Stephanie Hudson is my all time favorite author. She is a wicked genius with a twisted sense of humor. She can make you laugh and cry in the same paragraph. I can read her series then reread them right after and never get enough. All of her separate series tie into the main Afterlife series so you are really reading continuations of the main story. I love them all. Words can’t express how addictive her books are. So beware. Once you open a Stephanie Hudson book, all life outside of it ceases to exist and you start craving the next one.

Their journey has been filled with every twist and turn, up and down and one betrayal after another. All our favorite characters are gathered in this book, even those we've grown to hate. The storyline is fantastic and the world building is one of a kind. The hardest part is having to wait for the next book. Please, please, please Ms. Hudson don't make us wait to long.

Omg! I’m so overwhelmed with emotions
Well I devoured this book in one day! It was definitely an overwhelming emotional experience! I can honestly say I did not see some of the twists coming. Holy surprises that was crazy and awesome! Stephanie Hudson has done it again with her fabulous writing and story telling! I can’t wait for the next book! Hell beast is by far my favorite even though I love all your books 🥰🙌❤️

It was over way too fast. I love the way that Stephanie describes everything to help us see in our minds eye the colors and shapes that surround the characters!
Lots more montsters lots more secrets, revelations from surprising people only to surprise more!
I am gonna have a hard time waiting on book 10 as I am sure there will be many new revelations and more secrets that will be brought into the light!

Ella makes her return from the past right as Jared is fight for his life, she comes in kicking a$$ and saving the day.
I won’t say anymore about the storyline as I don’t want to give away spoilers in any way. There are quite a few surprises in this book that left me shocked. I know this book was only recently released but I’m desperately waiting for book 10.

Nothing Happens
Nothing happened in this book. The previous book ended on an awkward cliffhanger. That was wrapped up in the first quarter then precisely nothing happens until the last few pages of the books. Seems like first few chapters and last few chapters are the only ones that progress the story line and the rest are just fillers with editing errors. I really enjoyed this series but I think this is my last one.

I absolutely love Ella and Jared. This series is one of my favorite series ever. I was so happy they found each other but heart broken for Ella to tell Jared everything. I felt her anxiety to the core. And Jared knowing what really happened 😢. Then the whole plot twist that I never had a clue in any of the other books floored me! Stephanie Hudson knows how to write amazing stories that keeps you wanting more. I never want this story to end!!

Jarod is my favourite king, even when he was featured in the other books he quickly became mine. 😂😂
This has been an amazing series but OMG this has been the best. So many twists and definitely an OMG moment which I had to read again to make sure I read correctly.
The adventure is not over for Jarod and Ella looks like another adventure to come.
If you read anything read this series, it is absolutely one of the best series I have read.
Stephanie Hudson has knocked it the park with this.

Wow! Stephanie you outdid yourself with this one! You sucked us in then spit us out hanging over a green portal to who knows where. Fast and furious and over much too quickly! It answered a lot of questions we had plus it answered a lot we didn't realize were questions at all. Good job.

WHAT?!!
OK, for some reason, I thought this was gonna be the last book in the series. And what in the world was that ending!?!?! This book was really good, but I just felt like it needed to move like it needed to go. I mean there were some really cool things that we all knew were going to happen but the cliffhanger that was just ugh…

Absolutely brilliant (again!!), I don't know how anyone can write such epically genius tales so consistently! Another absolutely brilliant, page turning drama fest.....with the sexiness that is Jared, didn't want it to ever end.....and now back to waiting for the next one!!

Wow!!! Just loved it….
It was everything I hoped it would be as amazing. A great book added to this series and as to all good series the was full of drama with several answered questions and and plenty of spice. Felt like there would be a HEA only to throw in a surprise detail leading to a cliffhanger. Stephanie always keeps us wanting more in her great writing style.

Stephanie Hudson is an amazing Author
She has written another book that once I started reading I could not put down until I read the whole thing! I love her stories. I love that it included Afterlife. Keira, Sophie and Pip Dom and Lucius. There was a few explosive revelations that I was saying hallelujah when I read them. This book will not disappoint!!

A different storytelling, ends in a cliffhanger
This is book nine of the series. I have been reading all these related to Afterlife with Dominic and Kiera. This book threw me off because each chapter ends in a punchline of sorts. The first chapters were odd, but about halfway through the actual story started to take shape for Jared and Ella. Trouble follows these two.

Still good but seems to be dragging now
I adore Stephanie Hudson as an author but a lot of this book could have been dealt with quicker and it was only near the end that I got really gripped
Will I read the next book and anything else she release? Absolutely but every series seems to have “filler” books that don’t feel like they add much overall
