They claimed her once. After seven years in the military, they're home. Now, they'll claim her again.
Rory and Cooper haven't forgotten Ivy. She is the one for them, the one who became theirs one starry night before shipping off to boot camp. They didn't expect seven years to pass before they saw her again. She's changed, has secrets. But they don't care. They'll do everything they can to make her theirs. Because in Bridgewater, one cowboy is never enough.

Warning: Panty melting! Take Me Fast is book 3 in the wildly dirty series where two obsessed alpha cowboys track down the woman they claimed one starry night. This standalone HEA is all about her - no M/M.

I liked the change of pace for this book. Instead of a woman who doesn't know about Bridgewater, Ivy grew up there and is open to the lifestyle, she just didn't think her men wanted her. Cooper and Rory love Ivy, but they left for the military and lost touch with her. Now after seven years, they've tracked her down and are going to get their woman, but there's a wrench in their plan in the form of six year old Lily. This was a cute story and I really felt bad for Cooper and what he went through in the military. They all made an adorable family and there were some spicy romance scenes too!

In this episode of the wonderful Bridgewater County community! We are introduced to Ivy, Rory, and Cooper who were high school sweethearts. Growing up in the Bridgewater community they all knew what the polyamorous lifestyle was about and wanted to obtain that after they followed their dreams. However, fate had other plans. Ivy moved out of the community after her grandmother dies. Rory and Cooper joined the military to serve their country. All of them go through events that change their lives during the separation and when Rory and Cooper return to Bridgewater first thing on their mind is to find out were Ivy is located. I loved this new couple, I loved the new/different emotional factors that were explored, and I could not wait to read more books about this town.

This specific video review will be included in the December 2018 wrap-up.

This is the third book in the Bridgewater County series and technically can be read as a stand alone since the characters from the other books really don't play a part in this installment. However, once you've read one of Vanessa Vale's books you'll probably want to read more.
This installment featured a new romance trope from the rest of the series. Laura had one night seven years ago with her two crushes, Rory and Cooper. They went onto boot camp and she left for college before Laura discovered she was pregnant. Fast forward to the present, and Rory and Cooper are ready to finally claim Laura for good. Will her secret, Lily, tear them apart before they've even started?
I really enjoyed this latest book and look forward to more in this series. I like that there is an actual story to go along with the steamy scenes which is not always found in menage romances.

I just have a weakness for Vanessa Vale and her Bridgewater stories and Take Me Fast is no exception - EXCEPT there's a plot twist in this one that I didn't see coming. That made the story that much more entertaining for me! Plus, there was a level of sweetness to this story because the trio, Laura, Rory, and Cooper, fell for each others as teens and lost their virginity together. So it's a menage AND a second chance romance all rolled into one! There were some parts that annoyed me slightly - like Laura's skepticism of Rory and Cooper's level of commitment (I mean, she grew up in Bridgewater with them, so she should know that those men were play for keeps when they find the one). Other than that, Take Me Fast was fun, sexy, and sweet - another great installment in the Bridgewater Ménage: Bridgewater County series. I give it 3.5 out of 5 wine glasses.

Ivy had Rory and Cooper when she was 18. Only they were shipping off to boot camp and she was going off to college. One night was all it took for Rory and Cooper to know that Ivy was theirs and they would claim her again after they finished their tours. They tried to find her over the years but with no luck. When they find out where she is they fully intend on bringing her back to Bridgewater to be with them. Totally caught off guard when Rory and Cooper show up after 7 years Ivy panics and has no idea how to tell them that they have a daughter.
Such a sweet and spicy second chance romance.

*3.5+ so I rounded up to 4*

I liked that this was more than 3 people finding happiness because there was a bit of reveal in this one. But at the same time I felt like Ivey was using that as an excuse and it wasn't holding water. I'm glad that the men took it out of her hands.

I also liked that all 3 of the MC's grew up in Bridgewater so the lifestyle was nothing new. It was interesting though that knowing that, Ivy still thought it would be ok to run away from Cooper and Rory.

Ivy always had a thing for Cooper and Rory but they never noticed her it seemed in high school until her senior year. The summer after graduation, the three got together for a few weeks to get to know each other. The night before Cooper and Rory left for the military and Ivy for college, they had a passionate night. Cooper and Rory knew then that they would come back and claim Ivy. During their leaves from the military, they kept trying to find Ivy but she disappeared. It is now seven years since they last saw Ivy and they are back in Bridgewater for good. They get a clue of Ivy's whereabouts and finally find her. They are ready to do anything to make her theirs.
Ivy had loved Rory and Cooper and their night together but since then her life has been hard. The grandmother who raised her died. She got pregnant from her time with her two boys. She had to struggle to care for a baby and go to college. Now life is looking up because she has a good job. One day after work, she sees Cooper and Rory waiting for her. She has missed them but the secret of her daughter is a heavy weight. They want her back but will they still love her when they find out the truth?
This is a hot and sweet story. This is the first Bridgewater story I have read and I definitely want to go back and read the first two. I voluntarily received a copy of this story and this is my honest review.

This is the third book in the series and my favorite so far. It had me right from the beginning and the story sucked me right in. It's a MFM and it gets really steamy between the three of them. They have been separated from each other for years, but fate may just work it magic for them to get their second chance. Rory and Cooper have changed since high school so has Laura. There is one part in this book that's my favorite that involves Cooper. It's the moment he truly starts to heal.

All of the Bridgewater County novellas have the fairy-tale like quality: an instant and undying love, a brief and quickly resolved moment of tension, then everything falls perfectly into place for a happily-ever-after.

This one seemed like the cutest of the novellas to me. Two veterans come home, scarred, traumatized and heart-sick. Then they seek out their high-school sweetheart for a second chance romance, discovering they had a kid with her years ago. I really liked the heroes.

Another wonderful read

What I love about this author and her books are that the emotions are REAL and the problems and issues they face are dealt with in REAL ADULT WAYS. Not in these over the top emotional games most romance books tend to make their hero’s go through.
That is not to say that her books are predictable because they aren’t. They’re just so wonderful to read and experience.
I am truly loving this series.

I loved that story. I like to see from the point of view of each character and how they faced their tribulations and together they built a relationship of love, care and complicity.

The only bad thing about this book is that it ends, I would like to follow Threesome for a longer time, they are great together.

Take Me Fast was not what I was expecting. I thought Ivy was hiding a really dark sceret, but in reality she was hiding that she had a daughter with Rory and Conner. Although, I dont know why she hid it from them after they came to her in Seattle. It all ended in a happily ever after though when they moved back to Bridgewater and was able to be a real family.

Take Me Fast is Vanessa Vale's third book in the Bridgewater County series, it differs markedly from many of her earlier titles, and it earned 4.5 stars from this reader.

The difference occurs at the outset with a prologue, taking us 7 years into the past. Laura has been attracted to high school seniors, Rory and Cooper, for quite some time, although she's been dating Tom for most of the year, it's Rory and Cooper to whom she wants to give her virginity. She's finally dumped Tom and on the eve of their high school graduation, the three virgins lose their virginity to one another in the back of a pickup truck and soon thereafter Laura is off to Seattle for college and Rory and Cooper join the army, confident that she's the one, and that she'll be there when they return.

Fast forward seven years, Rory and Cooper are back in Bridgewater. Cooper is now a wounded warrior with scars and PTSD to show for his service, and the men are shocked to discover that Laura is nowhere in town. After checking with the college she attended in Seattle, they discover that she dropped out after her first semester, and they've been unable to discover her current whereabouts. They do learn that her grandmother, who raised her, died shortly after they left Bridgewater. Thanks to gossipy Jessie at the town diner, they do learn that Laura is teaching in Seattle, and off they go to claim her, but they're in for some surprises, one of which is a reluctant Laura, who is shocked at their sudden, unexpected appearance, and who is reluctant to tell them anything about her life, including a secret she's been keeping--their 6-year-old daughter, Lily. The men still believe that Laura is "the one, " and now, all they need to do is convince her of that.

I was very glad to see Ms. Vale include a wounded warrior in this novel, but the only negative for me wasn't the fact that 18-year-old Laura kept her pregnancy a secret from Rory and Cooper, which was understandable. By the time she discovered she was carrying their child, they were already in boot camp, and in no position to leave or to support her. Luckily, her late grandmother's sister in Seattle took her in and helped her through her pregnancy, providing Laura and her daughter with a loving home.

What I couldn't understand is why, after seven years of missing her two men, Laura was so reluctant to tell them about the existence of their daughter. Knowing that these are Bridgewater men, and having been raised there, did Laura actually think the men wouldn't want their daughter in their lives? Did she really think they'd try to separate her from her daughter? Her reluctance just didn't ring true to this reader, and it's the reason I didn't give this novel a 5-star rating.

As always, Vanessa Vale has written an engaging story, with interesting characters, and with a lot of heart and a lot of heat. To discover what happens as these characters find their HEA ending, you'll just have to read Take Me Fast and find out.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance reader copy of the this book and received no compensation for doing so. The opinions expressed are my own.

YOU’RE OURS—YOU ALWAYS HAVE BEEN

Book three in the Bridgewater County series is another amazing adventure that is a spinoff from the historical based Bridgewater Menage series but takes place in present day. The town of Bridgewater, Montana, still holds with the founding father principals of two or three alpha dominant males claiming and marrying one woman, and partnering for life. This method has proven successful for over a hundred years and why change what works? The story will read as a standalone. It does have characters from in books one and two.

Ivy, Rory, and Cooper all went to school together. While the two boys knew that Ivy was their one, during high school, she dated Tom, but it wasn’t a serious relationship. They have since graduated, Ivy and Tom are no longer dating, and summer is coming to an end, and Ivy, Rory, and Cooper are together, in the back of a pickup truck out in Baker’s field, all three virgins, and this will be their night. Then the guys are shipping off to boot camp, and Ivy is leaving for college in Seattle.

Fast forward seven years and lives have drastically changed. Rory and Cooper have experience war, injuries, and loss, but they are out of the service and back in Bridgewater looking for their girl. Ivy is no longer in Montana, having stayed in Seattle, but she has her secrets too.

The plot will have Cooper and Rory returning from a seven-year stint in the military back to Bridgewater to open a helicopter business, and to find the woman that was to be theirs. Ivy had never returned to Bridgewater from Seattle, so it will take a trip to find her. Their reunion leaves Ivy in shock seeing the two men she loved and left behind. Can she have just one night with them for old times sake and say goodbye? “What we did was hot. Steamy. Wild. But it as more. It was—special.”

Cooper and Rory have known since high school that Ivy was the one for them. Secrets will come to light, and now the three of them will be faced with new decisions. Now she will have to decide whether she will return to Bridgewater or will they move to Seattle. “All that matter is that we’re in your lives. However, you’ll have us.” No matter where they are they are not going to lose her again. They will be a family.

“You’re trying to use your brain to figure out an issue of the heart.”

“ There would always be risks in this life—the more I loved, the more I risked losing.”

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Rory, Cooper and Ivy have grown up in Bridgewater, Montana, where relationships between two men and one woman are the norm, (if fact Cooper himself has two dads.) They have desired each other for a long time but no one makes a move until their last night together before they are due to go their separate ways, Ivy to college in Seattle to train as a teacher and the boys off to join the army as helicopter pilots. A night of passion follows.

Fast forward seven years and the boys are back in town and looking for Ivy, the girl that got away. Having previously tried to trace her in Seattle and finding that she had only been at college for one semester, they have hit a dead end in their search. Step forward Jessie, waitress in the diner, who informs them that she is living with her Great Aunt Sarah. The boys head off to Seattle and are overjoyed to find the girl that has filled their dreams for many years. Unfortunately they are disappointed that she doesn't seem to be as pleased to see them and after much reluctance, she agrees to go to dinner with them, for old times sake. The boys intend to use this time to show her how good they can be together in the hope of winning her around. But, as in all good stories, everything is not as it seems and when the reason for Ivy's reluctance is revealed, can they all move forward and overcome the feelings of betrayal? Can they have a future together?

OMG! I cannot say how much I loved this book. The characters were so well written and the chemistry between the trio sizzles and burns especially in their intimate moments. Cooper was the vulnerable veteran, suffering from PTSB and survivor guilt and he needed Ivy's love to move forward. Rory, who had been supporting Cooper alone for so long, was desperate for a close family that only Ivy could give him. Ivy herself had experienced sadness and challenges in her life too and these lonely souls came together to support and repair each other. I wanted everything to work out so desperately for them and was so engrossed I could not put it down.
So, so good. A definite read more than once book. Well done Ms Vale.

Ivy spent one night with the two men that she had always wanted before leaving for college. That night changed her in more ways then she expected. But now years later, she's got her routine and settled. However she's about get a surprise she always wanted but didn't think would happen.

The connection between the three is just as intense as it was way back then. Ivy is scared to take a chance on a real relationship with them, but Rory and Cory vow to show Ivy just has wonder a life together can be. But Ivy has a secret that could derail everything.

Will they be able to finally claim the life they always wanted or how too much time passed? And can Rory and Cory forgive Ivy for keeping the secret from them and embrace it?

And even after the curve Ivy throws them, they still do whatever it takes to make their relationship work and last.

Ivy is a strong woman that won't back down when is striving to have a stable, happy life. And when is decides to take a chance on a happy ever after with Rory and Cory, she jumps in with both feet.

This is book 3 of the Bridgewater County series where we see the current day forming of menage relationships in Bridgewater. Ivy has always loved Cooper and Rory but they only get one night together before the guys leave for boot camp. Now it's years later and the three of them are older. Rory and Cooper know they want Ivy and after searching for her for years they finally find her. Unfortunately she's not sure if she can be with them anymore because she has a secret that will change all their lives.

This book made me so emotional I was crying and smiling a lot. Ivy is a strong woman who had to make hard decisions but she didn't want to ruin Rory and Cooper's dreams or their careers. When they find out about her secret the guys are even more invested in getting her back into their lives. Lily is such a cutie and it was really fun to see the interaction between her and the guys (I wish the book had been longer so I could have read more scenes with them). As always in a Bridgewater book the sex is hot! The guys are determined to show Ivy that she's meant to be with them. And she knows it too because she is also from Bridgewater. I love seeing the thought process from the characters who were born in Bridgewater versus the thoughts of characters just arriving in Bridgewater for the first time. The faith and believe by Bridgewater people that when they know they've found the ones they KNOW is always fun to read. Another great addition to the series.

This is the 3rd book in the Bridgewater County series from this author and once again she has done a fabulous job telling us the sto ry of Cooper Rory and Laura.

These 3 characters have known each other since they were kids and became a threesome at the age of 18. shortly after the boys left to join the military. Cooper came back damaged after a really bad incident at war. Laura left Bridgewater to go live with her aunt in Seattle after her grandma died and needed her aunt's support when she found out she was pregnant. Yup you guessed it the father is none other then Rory and Cooper.

Seven years later after trying all those years to find Laura they got wind she was up in Seattle, it did not take them long to figure out that Lily was their daughter. Now to convince Laura to be theirs was a tough one but Cooper and Rory know deep down she is theirs.

If you are looking for a fast paced, steamy love story this is it for you and don't forget to read the whole series because i tell you each one of these books are fabulous!!

Marie's Tempting Reads ARC Review:

A sinfully sexy, ultra H-O-T, heartfelt and oh so AMAZING romance! Vanessa Vale is quickly becoming a favorite author of menage romance. Take Me Fast had some wickedly great characters. Two gorgeous men with hearts of gold and who are sweet, loyal, persistent, protective, giving in the romance department, and just all around drool-worthy. Ivy is a gorgeous woman. She is a little gun-shy even though she was with Rory and Cooper once because of an intimate secret she is hiding. Once they work past Cooper's PTSD and Ivy's weariness, things heat up good, fast, and delicious!

This menage romance is filled with heartfelt sincerity, sweet romance that makes my heart sigh and me happy, and sex so gloriously HOT I was constantly squirming in my seat. I am SERIOUSLY loving Vanessa Vale and her sexy menages!

Take Me Fast gets a DELICIOUSLY WICKED FIVE SHOOTING STARS!

Take Me Fast is a wonderful story of Ivy, Rory and Cooper who rekindle their desires for each other after one night seven years ago. After returning home from the military and finding Ivy gone, Rory and Cooper stop at nothing until they track her down and find themselves in for a big surprise. Vale has given her readers another fantastic read and continues to get me lost in another world that I never want to leave. What makes this one stand apart from the previous two is how the two Bridgewater men aren’t the typical alpha cowboys we’ve seen before. Their seven years in war has shaped them drastically into a set of tortured war heroes. It’s refreshing to see a more complex side of the main male characters in a book and the way Vale writes just tugs at your heart strings until you find yourself falling in love with them. This is a definite must read that is both sweet one minute and sexy as sin the next.

This is the third installment of the Bridgewater county series. This book is a new favorite of mine. I read it in a single sitting and, as always, wanted more! I really liked that it includes characters that all grew up knowing each other and the Bridgewater lifestyle. I enjoyed the characters' history playing such a part in the story.

I was really struck by the heartwarming tale between the hot and steamy love scenes. Also, the development of the characters from teenagers to adults and what they've each been through in their lives is well portrayed. They all have had their struggles and while it has shaped their personalities, they are still meant to be together.

I can't wait to see what comes next for the Bridgewater County stories.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Ivy, Cooper and Rory have always been the best of friends and loved one another. When they turn 18 they decide to lose their virginities together. Soon after, Cooper and Rory join up and become Helicopter pilots after basic training. They try to keep in contact with Ivy but she's disappeared off the face of the earth after her grandma died. She has a secret called Lily that they are soon going to discover. Cooper is seriously injured and is discharged from the military. He and Rory set up their own helicopter business but Cooper won't fly yet. Their next mission is to find and bring back Ivy to their arms. Vanessa Vale has written a great story here that drew me in at page one and kept me engrossed to the last page. A real page turner. This series is quick. I loved this one the most so far. Ivy, Roy and Cooper grew up together and 7 years ago they were all together one hot steamy night in the back of the truck. All virgins. Then Roy and Cooper went off to boot camp while Ivy went off to college in Seattle. Or so they thought. It has been 7 years and the boys are home from war and still hung up on making Ivy theirs, however they have no idea where she is. You know Bridgewater so it doesn't take long for them to find out where she is and for them to go to her. However, Ivy has a secret and will that secret stop Roy and Cooper from getting their girl.

I loved the little twist in this one. Didn't expect it and that is good because with these type of books it all happens so fast and they tend to blend together as far as the plot goes so the twist was fun. Next one please!!

Perfomance good - story lacking

Rory and Cooper left to find more and got more than either imagined. They came home to find their glue but she was gone. Ivy had one perfect night to send her off to college. She gained and she lost much that day. She had not been in Bridgewater for years. She stays away to give a new life a chance. She worked hard for seven years to forget the past but each day it was getting harder to do.

I had issues with Rory and Cooper. I foudn it hard to contemplait that these to smart men would overlook the obvious when it came to locating Ivy. I questioned their true desire to find her. Once connected I questioned a few other things.

Narration was the saving grace here.

Take Me Fast is Vanessa Vale's third book in the Bridgewater County Series.

Ivy loved Cooper and Rory forever, it seemed to the teenager, until one night the summer before they went their separate ways, the three 18 year-olds spent an unforgettable night in the back of Cooper's truck.

7 years later, Cooper and Rory are back from war, and know they have to track down Ivy, because she is the one. Can Cooper and Rory convince Ivy they were meant to be together? And what secret is Ivy hiding?

I really enjoy each and every one of Ms. Vales books, and this is another 5-star read from the Cowboy Menage Queen.
