With the help of two canine cupids, Charlotte and Rex will discover the best presents don't come wrapped in pretty paper.
Charlotte adopted Louis thinking she had found her new four-legged companion.
Meanwhile, Rex, with a heart as warm as his coffee creations, welcomed Lucille, a four-pawed bundle of love, into his.
What neither Charlotte nor Rex expected was that their four-legged friends had plans of their own.
Louis and Lucille, with their uncanny canine instincts, are on a to guide their humans past friendship and into the arms of love.
But there’s one problem.
It’s Christmas.
Rex doesn’t believe in falling in love during the holidays. He knows the smiles and looks of admiration will fade when the music changes and the decorations are stored away.
Amidst the tinsel and garlands, surprises await them—one that will test their bond.
It's a tale of unexpected companionship, the warmth of newfound love, and the magic that dogs—and Christmas—can bring into our lives.

This is a cute & sweet, Hallmark-esque Christmas romance. The characters are likable and I rooted for them to be together. They are good people with matchmaking dogs. Remember the scene in the animated 101 Dalmations where the dogs tangle the humans up with their leashes? Yup. Matchmaking dogs... The book isn't terribly long so it is great for a cozy evening by the fire, sipping something hot. Coffee for the characters. Hot cocoa for me.
Enjoyable read.
No sex, language or violence *I received a complimentary ARC through StoryOrigin and voluntarily chose to review it.
What a sweet matchmaking story. Lucille and Louis are both adopted on the same day. Lucille by Rex and Louis by Charlotte. Rex was hurt by his ex-wife that he’d met during the holidays, so he vows not to get in any more relationships during that time. Rex didn’t count on Charlotte though or matchmaking going on with Lucille and Louis. Please grab your copy of this delightful read and see what happens.
I received an advanced reader copy of this book and this is my voluntary and honest review.
Another stellar read from Merri Maywether! This is such a great holiday read…it just makes your heart happy at the end of the day. The storyline is quite touching; the characters are truly interesting; the plot twists and turns kept you going; and the HEA was simply perfect. This book was well written and oh so good to read! Mistletoe Mischief is a small town holiday read. Two lonely adults, 2 mischievous dogs, some unexpected twists and a believable resolution! Yes, dogs are friends, who are always happy to see you! As a Hallmark movie fan, I related with Charlotte, and living in a male dominate household understand grumpy males. Coffee is my beverage of choice. A sweet holiday page turning read.
Brilliantly sweet , small town Christmas romance . Well written and beautifully described I read an advance copy of this book and my review is voluntary
What a wonderful, sweet romantic story of Rex and Charlotte and their dogs. These two dogs are so much fun and they really add to the story. I really enjoyed this story.
Charlotte and Rex bump into each other while looking for a dog to adopt. This was a really sweet and often comical romance. They are different but have so much to offer the other. Of course there is some angst but good advice cautions one to be honest about their feelings. Loved Louis and Lucille.
