Lily’s heat is nearing fast, and she’s forbidden from pursuing the pack she truly wants.
Life on the compound isn’t good enough for an Omega like Lily. At least that’s what she’s consistently told by the Prez of the Dead Palms MC, who just so happens to be her stepfather. But Lily never was one to follow the rules.
With new members patching into Dead Palms, it seems like Lily’s luck might turn with club members willing to break the rules with her and form a pack. But when one of them is your estranged stepbrother, a nomad no one trusts, and a Beta who needs to reign in his temper, all hell might just break loose.
Lies, club rifts, and pure mayhem stand between Lily and the men she knows she should be with. Only time will tell if the club will survive the betrayal and if they’re strong enough to form the bonds they all desperately want.
Sarah Blue is a USA Today best-selling author of paranormal, omegaverse, and contemporary romance. When she isn’t writing you can find her nose buried in a book or picking up a new craft she probably won't finish. She lives in Maryland with her husband, children, and two cats.
I'm in awe of this talented author. She is the Queen of Omegaverse in my opinion, and proves time and time again that she can make it work with any genre. Nobody's Darlin is the perfect example. Omegaverse and bikers? Why the hell not!
“There’s no how we’re goin’ to make this shit happen; if I touch you, it’s happenin’. You’re mine, and there’s no goin’ back. If I have to kidnap your ass, kill somebody, take down the club, I’ll do it.”
Lily is a biker princess. Add being an Omega to the mix, she's definitely off limits. Yet with her 21st birthday fast approaching, it's a hard reminder that Lily's first heat is inevitable. Without an actual pack, everything is in limbo.
Truthfully it's difficult to explain all the intricacies of this story since there's a lot going on. Apart from the usual biker dynamics, Lily has been forbidden to hook up with any of members of the MC. Obviously this is a sticking point since she's already smitten with Axel, a beta biker.
As the saga unfolds, we meet Cash, a new Alpha biker joining the club, and Tate, who happens to be a Nomad and Lily's stepbrother. It's all a little complicated even if it's obvious that these four would make up the perfect pack. There's just a lot of shit to wade through first.
Nobody's Darlin was long, however it felt like a journey I wanted to be on. Each character was well thought out, and all the men were the right amount of dominant and sweet. It was gritty as one should expect with an MC romance but also passionate and devoted for an Omegaverse. It was pretty damn good!
Sarah Blue has mastered the omegaverse. There’s something so satisfying about her books that really hits the mark for me. This one was spicy and cozy, had just a touch of angst, a well developed (and complicated *cough stepbrother cough*) family, and so much more. It had so many great things going for it I don’t even know where to start. That’s a lie, of course I’m going to start with the guys. They were all swoon worthy in their own right. If there’s one thing SB does right, it’s creating the perfect guys.
There’s Axel, who might just be my new favourite Beta from this author (I still love you River). He isn’t afraid to go after what he wants, but he’s a respectful man, he waits for his girl’s permission of course. He was obsessed with Lily and takes the “touch her and die” saying VERY seriously. I ate up every second of it.
Then there’s Cash, the daddy of the group. He took care of Lily like no one else could and was her rock from the first moment they met. He’s the oldest of the guys at 32 (Lily is soon to be 21), and that just made him even more appealing. I would pay good money to hear him say “Babygirl” IRL. Some characters can’t pull off that nickname but he sure could.
Lastly, there’s her angsty boy Tate, her stepbrother. They barely know each other as he has been gone for four years and they rarely interacted beforehand but, Lily sees his father as her own so there’s still that factor between the two. He tried to deny his feelings for her for a long time so you can imagine what happens when he falters just a little.
To round out the pack, there’s our girl Lily. She also isn’t afraid to go after what she wants. The only thing holding her back is her step father. That doesn’t stop from becoming a cam girl to earn some money on her own though. He wants her away from the MC world, including banning all members from even looking at her. But she doesn’t want another life, she wants the one she has and is determined to get what (and who) she wants.
Of course, the relationships and characters are a huge part of the plot in this story but there’s also a lot of other things going on too that made this almost 500 page book feel like 200 pages. Not only did we get to see Lily’s sweet relationship with her brother and her friend Shelby separately but, we get a little peak into their love story as well. On top of that, there’s external conflicts causing havoc as well as internal conflicts that kept me on the edge of my seat. Sarah Blue does not shy away from the gruesome reality of their lives. It really rounded this book to have the perfect balance of character to outside plot.
This was a great omegaverses and MC book rolled into one. This might be one of my favourites from her and I can’t wait to see where this series goes! I can just feel the angst that’s to come!
This felt like the love child between Sarah Blue’s ONE PUCKED UP PACK and OMEGA’S OBSESSION.
Everything that worked in those two books, Sarah Blue elevated to a whole new level in this one. I’m still blown away by what she accomplished with this story. She had me laughing, swooning, crying… the whole spectrum of emotions.
I really, really wanted to love this one. But I had a hard time connecting to the story and I honestly couldn’t get over how long it was…despite not having that much unique plot/action/sex to make it that long? Given the high reviews, I think I’m alone in this camp so take my thoughts with a grain of salt.
Loved the MC angle, loved the omegaverse angle. Wish I’d resonated with the rest!
It's what I always wanted, what I always dreamed about. A rough biker who's only sweet for me but treats me like his property at the same time.
Did I mention this is a stepbrother, MC (motorcycle club), why choose, angsty omegaverse?
This book didn't give me what I wanted, but what I NEEDED.
My heart feels full, I may or may not need to change my panties, and my obsession with this author has grown that much more.
Sarah Blue makes a note that this is much darker than her other works (still not dark romance though!) and I agree. The highs go high and the lows really swooped down there. The road to the HEA was turbulent but oh so rewarding.
Lily is an omega and cam girl, streaming in order to squirrel away funds for a safety net in case pack life treats her as poorly as it did her own mother. She lives in a MC and she loves it but her stepdad, aka the Prez of the MC, wants her to find a pack away from the club. But what if she's drawn to some club members? Like the flirty beta and new members that happen to include an alpha with a dark side and her very own broody stepbrother.
Secrets unravel, the heat gets turned on high, and shit honestly hits the fan.
I really enjoyed the way this story was told. There was time spent setting up the characters and club dynamics before building upon relationships and furthering the plot. Even after the climax, we get to wind down and actually see some of the aftermath and spend time with the pack as they do pack shit. It's an indulgent and rewarding reading experience.
The only drawbacks for me: I felt like some ends were left untied (Marielli's Mass fallout? what about Kurt's price on her? etc. I don't mind the unresolved friction between characters because I HOPE that means new books for them!) and I would've loved a touch more relationship building, but my concerns didn't affect my enjoyment all too much. Lily does end up freezing during the climax of this, which I don't LOVE, but her reaction is in line with her upbringing and the kind of omega/woman she is, so I will also not hold this against her.
Other than that, Sarah Blue's betas always end up being my favorite in her OVs, I don't know how she does it haha. And the DIRTY TALK HAD ME ON MY KNEES. Oh! And there's a cameo from Omega's Obsession in here!
Overall I adored this. Rating 4.5 rounded up to 5!
I received an arc of this book however all thoughts are my own
I love when you find a good omegaverse, and this one was great! This had so many of my favorite things, possessive bikers, step brother, heats, knots, praise and great FMC. This book had me hooked from page one and I couldn’t put it down. Usually in a why choose I have a favorite, but I loved all of Lily’s guys equally. Tate, Axel and Cash were all amazing.
This was going fine until her heat then I was like not only no but HELL NO. Everything went haywire and I felt like I was reading a bunch of jumbled mess.
📖 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗼𝗽𝘀𝗶𝘀: Lily is nearing her first heat and is ready to settle down with a pack. But the men chosen for her aren’t the ones that she wants - the ones she wants are in her father’s motorcycle club, and completely off limits.
🌟 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄: Sarah Blue’s omegaverse style is clearly my jam.
I loved her hockey omegaverse books, but when Nobody’s Darling came on the scene I knew I was going to love it. I saved it for a rainy day, and lo and behold I devoured this book.
I love the pack dynamic here - there’s no way you don’t root for Lily, or sweet Axel, broody Tate or commanding Cash. The backdrop and underlying plot kept me on my toes, and the spicy moments strung me along.
But there’s so many little things I adored too. I love that all of Sarah Blue’s books start with omegaverse explanations. She’s gracious enough to include maps and character lists. I was obsessed with the chapter headings, which all featured character art. And I appreciated the extended epilogues - after going thru so much with these characters it felt great to see their happiness.
I can’t wait until the next in this series.
𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹: 3.5/5 🌶🌶🌶
𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀: If you need more MC omegaverse, try Baby and the Late Night Howlers by Kathryn Moon.
Reading the synopsis you wouldn’t really know that this is an ABO book AS WELL as a hardcore MC book.
**SPOILERS**
Lily is an Omega who has been in love with her vagabond stepbrother for years. But he leaves and just never returns, having been pretty much kicked out of the MC compound by his “old man,” the MC Prez.
In the meantime, Lily mopes and pines for Tate, her brother, but gets close to a Beta named Axel who is determined to make Lily his, even if he isn’t an Alpha. Problem is, Axel knows he needs an Alpha or two to complete his pack in order to claim Lily since he’ll never be able to fully satisfy her during her heat.
Craziness ensues, with this bizarre subplot that involves a rival MC, kidnapped Omegas, and betrayal of the worst kind. During this time Tate returns with his friend Cash, they’re both Alphas. Tate falls hard for Lily when he realizes she is an Omega AND all grown up. He wants her…but holds onto this ridiculous familial loyalty that keeps him from pursuing and claiming Lily. Lily takes this all to mean he’s rejecting her, and falls into the arms of Axel and Cash.
Eventually Tate pulls the stick outta his ass and goes after Lily…but it’s almost too late! Her near death experience makes him realize he can’t live without her, and Tate, Cash and Axel mark their Omega, Lily. A whole bunch of other things go on, but honestly this book is SUCH A HUGE MESS OF MIXED GENRES IT GETS REALLY TEDIOUS!! You feel as if you’re being pulled in two directions. You’re either trying to read and learn more about the Omega dynamics Lily is going through, and her connection with her Alphas, and Beta. Heck, she doesn’t nest, she barely has ANY OMEGA qualities at all…I wouldn’t have minded that, IF THE AUTHOR had taken time to flesh out Lily’s character more, same goes for her men. But Lily didn’t come off as an Omega, even when she was doing “Omega like” things. She just came off as a petulant kid most of the time. I’d have liked if she had grown during the course of the book!!
The MC aspect was strange. It started out all right…Lily being the Club Princess of sorts, but then all this convoluted stuff began to happen, and your attention is swayed between Lily’s desperate tries to get her Pack of her dreams, and the collapse of her stepfathers MC. Throw in a drugging, a kidnapping , some knife play and torture and you’ve got yourself a good time *eye roll*.
It was just not fleshed out enough. The stories didn’t intertwine well, and never really connected in a way that was satisfying and conclusive.
Trust me, if you like more “traditional” ABO stories, then this probably isn’t the book for you. If you like “traditional” MC stories, then this book is also probably not for you. IF YOU LIKE a head scratcher for a plot, and pretty two dimensional characters, and a book with a VERY anticlimactic ending…then pick up this book and for sure, go ahead. Just don’t say I didn’t warn you. lol.
I’m going to be honest, I started out really invested in this book but eventually everything going on took me so far out of the story it was hard to enjoy it. There is a lot that happens, and it isn’t cohesive. I would not consider this a true ABO story, or even a true MC romance. There are certain traits that both of those types of stories have, and this strayed so far from them it felt like both genres were forced on these characters.
We meet Lily, the club princess, and she’s searching for the pack of her dreams. I struggled with her, along with the rest of the “pack”. There was zero character growth with Lily; she did omega-like things but never truly felt like an omega to me. The relationship building between her, Cash, Axel, and Tate also was severely lacking. This didn’t feel like a why choose—this felt like a girl with three separate boyfriends; the pack dynamic was not there; we were told a LOT of things but nothing was really ever shown. I also felt like Cash was a third wheel to the relationship; he doesn’t get near the page time the others do. The focus was drastically on Tate and his push and pull. I was extremely disappointed that Lily’s heats were extremely glossed over; the details were infinitesimal. I’m not even really sure these guys liked each other, they just wanted Lily, which is a hard pill to swallow when reading an omegaverse.
This book definitely had bones behind it, but the character growth and development, as well as the consistency to what is going on, needs work. I got to a certain point in the book and felt like it was wrapped up, that we were at the end. Wrong. I still had 20% left to read; it just got very tedious between all the things going on, lack of character development, lack of relationship development, and sadly, I skimmed the last 20% because I completely lost interest due to trying to keep track of all that was happening.
2.5 ⭐️ felt a bit like a book idea that when it came down to it didn’t really come together in a compelling way. Enjoyed the MMC characters but ultimately wanted to put it down a few times because I didn’t feel very drawn jnto it. the juxtaposition of the bikers speaking pretty eloquently in their heads and then every other action word was shortened to in instead of the ing form I.e. thinkin’ vs thinking, etc it was distracting for me. If you’re looking for an easy reading biker standalone it may hit the spot.
I spent the first half of this book trying to decide which of Lily’s men was my favourite. Cash, who looks big and scary, but makes her feel treasured? Axel, the flirty but protective beta, who she’s had a connection with the longest? Tate, the estranged stepbrother who is off-limits but can’t stay away? I loved them all, along with Lily and her entrepreneurial spirit.
What I didn’t expect though was how high stakes the story would get — that really took me off guard. I was swooning and then suddenly the motorcycle club business got real, and I had the confusing experience of . Still not sure how I feel about that, but whatever the feelings they were definitely strong. Although I was still kind of reeling by the time we got to the HEA, so points taken off for that.
I’m also really looking forward to the next book. Nobody’s Darlin’ is a standalone, but it sets up the story for the next group of characters and I am expecting a whole lot of delicious angst.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ “You should be my girl. I want you on the back of my bike, in my bed. I know you have needs, and I can’t keep you all to myself, but you should be mine. You and I both know it.”
This book was so good! It's probably one of Sarah’s best and up there as one of my top reads from her. I loved her treatment of the MC trope mixed with ABO dynamics. It’s full of club drama, secrets and betrayals, and protective alphas (plus a sexy AF beta).
The MCs were great. There were two all-in MMCs and one grump (to be fair, their relationship was forbidden, so he gets a pass). The FMC was strong and independent, not willing to sit by to let the men take the lead. And most importantly, she maintained that strength throughout the book.
Medium burn and spicy, there are MF and MFM+ scenes (no sword crossing).
The first book in an interconnected series, this book ends in a HEA. I am immensely excited for more.
(Bonus – character cameos from Omega’s Obsession)
Genre: Omegaverse MC Romance Tropes/Features: forbidden romance (stepbrother/stepsister), morally grey, unhinged sexy Beta, golden retriever Alpha, grumpy Alpha, hurt/comfort, angst, club drama, action Narrator: Multiple 1st Person POV Relationship Type: Why Choose – MFMM, medium burn, spicy Book Type/Ending: Standalone with HEA TW/CW: Available on author’s website
The first half of the story set up a lot of options for where it could go. But a lot of potential was just left hanging. The way Lily is described at the beginning as wanting to be strong and independent, crumples at any conflict. Her long time crush is quite superficial since she barely knows anything about him and her other two love interests were both basically insta love. Lily just felt like an underdeveloped character. The plot with her stepdad was poorly executed. He had the potential to be a truly sinister bad guy, but it kind of felt like he was a bad guy as an afterthought. There were some good ideas here but it felt like miss on the ending and was a solid 100 pages too long. The book also closely resembled Kathryn Moon’s “Baby and the Late night howlers” but lacked the passion and tension that story had.
I had high hopes going into this because I love Sarah’s work and it combines she combines two of my favorite genres in this story, MC and omegaverse, but I felt a little disappointed. I liked it but at the same time it like maybe it could’ve been a little shorter? I’m not sure how to word that but I found myself skimming through some parts as well as the last 10-15% of the book. It didn’t hold my attention very well and took me a few days longer to finish than what it usually does when I’m reading.
I loved Axel’s energy though. Tate seemed a little too hard on himself at times and Cash was a sweetheart. Fair warning, there is a minor character death so I wouldn’t read if that’s something you don’t like.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. Thank you so much Sarah Blue!
“It’s what I always wanted, what I always dreamed about. A rough biker who’s only sweet for me but treats me like his property at the same time.”
Nobody's Darlin' is the first book in the Dead Palms MC universe. I'm used to the sweeter side of Sarah's omegaverse but I loved to see her exploring this darker side (notice this is not a dark romance but check out the TWs anyway), which was also completely new to me.
Lily is an Omega and her first heat happens any time now as she approaches her 21st birthday. With that, her stepfather and Prez of the Dead Palms MC is bent on finding her a pack outside the compound.
To prevent her mother's story from repeating itself. So, she created an online personality, Marielli (YES, IT'S MY NAME AND I'LL NEVER GET OVER THIS, ILY SARAH), to stream anonymously and faceless, and with that raise some money to make herself a security blanket before finding a pack. She also doesn't agree with her stepfather's rule, she wants to be free to pursue whoever she wants, wherever she wants. Especially the flirty and hot Beta, Axel, who's more than ready to break the off-limits law.
New members are patching in, including the Alphas Cash and Tate, the latter happens to be the Prez's stranded son, making him Lily's stepbrother. Both suspect that something shady is going on with the DPMC. It doesn't take long for Axel to join them, and inevitably for Lily to become very fond of them as well.
Usually, when I read Why-choose romances I end up liking one character more than another, but in this case, I loved them equally. They are amazing, each in their way. We got Axel, the happy-go-lucky Beta that would do anything to make Lily his. I'm always weak for Betas and with him was no different. I thought I wouldn't connect as much with Cash and Tate, but I was so wrong! Cash is the epitome of "only soft for her", I swooned every time he called her baby girl (baby girl >>> good girl, fight me). And Tate oof was harder to get but all the will-they-won't-they between him and Lily just made things ten times better.
Did I love Lily for the simple fact that Marielli is her pseudonym? Maybe, but really she has become one of my favorite FMCs of Sarah's in spite of that. She's so feisty, her jealous side was something I didn't know I needed but I absolutely loved it.
Nobody's Darlin' is honestly one of Sarah's best books to date. I couldn't have asked for a better book to start 2024. I had high expectations for this book and they were completely exceeded. It's one of those books that is impossible to sput down, you need to know what is going to happen next. And to make it even better, we had a cameo of one of my fave packs. I literally squealed when they showed up!
That being said, Pack Valor has my heart and I can barely wait for the next books of the series. I desperately need Shelby's story!
I mean, everything Sarah Blue has written - I loved BUT I think Nobody’s Darlin’ is my new favorite. I realized quickly I’m obsessed with OmegaverseXMC. This story was fantastic and I loved Lily’s men so much. They all adored her and loved her so fiercely, I was swooning nearly the entire time.
Lily was raised inside an MC compound with her mom and her alphas, her brother, and a step brother that’s been on the road. But when he comes home and the pack brings in new members, things get a little haywire.
Spicy, emotional, and angsty. This book had a splash of it all. I couldn’t stop reading and was begging for it to never end. Some side characters I was also so invested in, I’m hoping they get their own stories too!
I received an arc of this book- thank you so much Sarah!
I loved this book so much! It’s definitely one of my top three favorite books by Sarah. She’s made such a great world with the omegaverse and I enjoy reading her omegaverse novels!
I thoroughly enjoyed a darker omegaverse novel than the previous ones I’ve read. I loved the MC world. It was thrilling and scary- loved the crime aspect of the club. This gave me Sons of Anarchy vibes and I loved every minute of it!
I instantly liked every main character in this book. Lily was sweet and naive, but also so strong and independent. She took matters in her own hands and made sure she took care of herself and her future. Axel was such a vibe! I don’t what it is with Sarah’s betas but they’re always awesome and have this attitude that’s so much fun! Axel didn’t disappoint! Cash was so dreamy! I completely fell head over heels for this man. He oozed “sweet and soft only for her” and I ate that up! It was impossible not to swoon for this alpha! Tate was difficult. By difficult I mean he had his walls up and around him to protect himself from anything and anyone. but when his wall slowly and steadily came down he was such a sweetheart. Absolutely precious and so selfless. I absolutely loved this pack so much and I loved their journey of becoming a family.
I also loved that we got a cameo by Liv, Daddy Grayson and River- that was such a gem and it made me squeal!
I’m so excited for the next installment in the Dead Palms MC series!
I was hankering for a Why Choose MC story and found a sorta rare MC OV. I definitely wish there were more of these. The best part about this book is the character growth for Lily. The time elapsed is long enough that the events don't feel rushed, and we get to see her shine. I would have liked some OW drama, but that's my mood talking. It didn't need it or anything. I actually really loved the positive relationship Lily had with the sweets.
My heart wasn't ready for the scene with Leon, and it got me in my feels. Here I was hoping he and Shelby and Mickey got a story.
The fellas were great. Tate was the resident forbidden love interest that resisted until the very last minute. Axel was the one who went after Lily with no regard for his life. And Cash rounded them out nicely as the caregiver who saw to her needs before she even understood them herself.
I'd love to have more stories from the Dead Palms MC!
I still feel freshly new to the omegaverse world, but it’s absolutely growing on me. Maybe because this is a why choose, age gap, stepbrother motorcycle club romance. Quite possibly. Did I absolutely gobble this up. Yes, yes I did.
So we meet the lovely Lily, who is getting ready to bloom in her heat around her 21st birthday. Her amazing step-dad is trying to get her to go to a different pack that is not motorcycle club affiliated, when all Lily wants is stay at the place that is her home. Lily has her eyes set on Axle. But everything changes when her stepbrother comes back to the club after being gone for years.
I came into this super excited because I have read Sarah Blue's books prior and enjoyed them. This one however, was okay. I felt like this book was super long? And even though it was, I felt like there were quite a few things that I really wished were explored. Like Mickey and Ambien's relationship, Axel and Cash's real name were not told -- Tate's real name was only given at the end which really put me in a whirlwind for some reason.
And as a SOA fan, I kept comparing because there were many parallels. Not that it's a bad thing but I kept picturing Clay as Prez and Tate and Axel are two sides of Jax Teller. The betrayal, the fall of the Prez, the lake house they run to even reminds me of Piney's cabin.
Oh, and stepbrother, definitely not for me. No matter how estrange. That was more of a me thing than the author.

First read of 2024 was smash, no surprise from my girl Sarah Blue!! Her books always resonate with me but this one was on a new level, I swear she was in my brain when she wrote this 🫶🏼
Sarah Blue is a really hit or miss author for me. Some of her books are 5stars others like this one are just not for me. I felt like the romance here was really a subplot to the MC drama going on with is fine if the romance is like grand and deep but this is very much not. The most meaningful relationship she has is with Tate but there isn’t enough tension between them to warrant the long wait.
this book broke my reading slump, so I forever owe it my life. if you enjoy omegaverse and just the angst of MC romance, then you’ll love this book. I did. I laughed. I felt anxious. I cried. I got a little red in the face during the steamy parts.
All in all a good read. Would recommend to the omegaverse crowd.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I think MC omegaverse is my literal dream. Something about the darkness of an MC with the devotion these men have to their omega just hits and I totally ate this book up.
Lily is an omega who’s about to go into her first heat and her stepfather, Prez of the Dead Palms MC, is determined to get her a pack far away from the club before that happens. Lily, however, is desperate to find a way to stay with her family in the only place she’s ever known. And she may already have her eye on a club member or two.
Sarah is so great at writing MMCs that I immediately fall in love with. We have Axel, our hot af beta with all the ‘touch her and die’ vibes. Cash, our smart and sweet alpha with a secret dark side. and Tate, the angsty forbidden step brother alpha with all the daddy issues. And all of them are ready to risk everything for their omega.
I definitely wasn’t expecting this story to take the turns it did, and it kept me up til 2 am to find out what was going to happen with these characters. I also wasn’t expecting it to tug so hard at my heart strings.
I really enjoyed this one and I’m super intrigued about what is to come with other characters we meet in this book. The crumbs Sarah left us have me very excited.
Please check trigger warnings, there is some dark and heavy content in this one! But if you’re an omega-verse girly I definitely recommend. And if you haven’t read omegaverse, what are you doing?!
I’m conflicted. I really was excited for this book, it’s two of my favorite things: omegaverse and motorcycle clubs. But it didn’t really blow me away like I expected.
A lot happened within the club that felt like maybe it should have been spread between multiple books. While the formation of the pack didn’t have much going on until the last like 20% of the book.
It was a bit insta-lovey with Cash and honestly Tate. I didn’t see the prior pining that is talked about because he’s been gone for 4 years and she was SIXTEEN last time he was there. Axel is the only one who made sense with Lily but I don’t know what they saw in her. She was “sweet and innocent” but also had an OnlyFans type account for whatever reason. She’s a sheltered MC princess who makes soap and is about to have a heat and that’s kind of it? Mariellis Mass was a bit much and basically forgotten after the beginning of the book until she mentioned the money she saved in the epilogue. Kind of pointless plot point in my opinion.
I’m curious where the MC will go in the books to come (it seems like it’s being set up for a series). Because the big internal conflict is already over and it will I guess just be a battle against the Wraiths now.
It’s a long book so it didn’t feel rushed which was good, and I like that we got a longer epilogue to flesh out the pack once things are happier but the 2 year time jump and random heat in the midst of the epilogue was an interesting choice.
I’ll definitely read more if this series continues, I’m a big fan of Sarah Blues books even if this was a bit of a letdown. It definitely wasn’t terrible!!

⭐️Omegaverse ⭐️Why choose (MMMF) ⭐️Step-siblings ⭐️"Touch her and die" vibes ⭐️Unhinged beta ⭐️Scary on the outside/cinnamon roll inside alpha ⭐️Conflicted step-brother alpha ⭐️Morally grey MMCs (but they draw the line at harming women, children, and animals.) ⭐️Hurt/comfort
This was a fun one. It's definitely one of the darker books coming from Sarah Blue, but it's still fun with some sass and humor. It did feel a little slow going in the beginning, but once you get to that halfway point, things really start gettin' going. I felt this was an interesting approach to an Omegaverse story with the motorcycle club aspect. There were moments where it sometimes felt like Lily's personality wasn't always consistent, but overall I felt she was a strong Omega. I liked all the men in her pack and their individual relationships with Lily and how they progressed and blossomed. Cash's connection seemed a little sudden, but it quickly grew on me. I don't think I could pick a favorite of the three. They are all so unique to each other and very well written. One thing I have noticed with Sarah Blue is that her stories have variety and keep you interested, and Nobody's Darlin' is no exception. It may have been slow in the beginning, but there were enough treats along the way to keep me interested in what was going on until the peak hit. All in all, this was a great and fun read that I really enjoyed.

Man do I love Sarah’s omegaverse books. They have yet to disappoint! This one follows Lily, who’s the daughter of the leader of the Desert Palms MC. What a journey. This book starts off with us getting to know the characters. Tate, her stepbrother is back in town and they’re patching in new members. And for some odd reason, her stepdad is hellbent on getting her bonded & out of the club. There’s quite a few moving parts in this book & I thoroughly enjoyed how the story played out. I love all of her packmates & liked watching them all form a connection with her. Hello Tate & all his angst. I do feel bad for how his father treated him. And Ambien deserved better 😭 Liked seeing Tate start standing up for what he believed in & rebuilding the club.
Once again, another great book. If Sarah writes it, I will read it. End of story.
This isn’t your typical omegaverse. It’s so *chef’s kisses’. There’s the perfect amount of action, suspense, passion, and love. My girl Lily, daughter of the Prez, has everything I love in a FMC aka where she’s a softie yet a baddie too at the same time. She knew what she wanted, knew what she had to do and took a risk… she won. She has her own secrets and issues but you can see her development as the story progresses. Her relationship with Axel had me swooning, who doesn’t love a golden retriever-like Beta? I think he’s the glue that keeps everyone together, gosh he deserves all the love in the world. My man Cash, he’s so dreamy I mean BDE (that man’s the definition of it)… he’s so protective, and knew how to take care of Lily, giving her a sense of confidence and strength. It took a while for Tate to catch up, but when he did oh wow I KNOW THAT’S RIGHT. Tate being the stepbro felt like a cherry on top. I think ayate had a lot of emotional work to do and it felt so nice when he (and Lily) understood each other. Don’t get me started on the wife/pack dynamic lol it’s perfect! I enjoyed every page of this book, it’s darkish but still has that fluffy essence I love so much from omegaverse ❤️.
This was a RIDE. I wish it was a ride on the back of Cash’s motorcycle, but it was a fun (and emotional) ride nonetheless.
If this is your first Sarah Blue book you should know she brings the Drama. I laughed, I cried real tears, and I was stressed the fuck out from time to time. But she also always makes it all worth it with a Happily Ever After. So don’t worry. Too much. Maybe a little.
Lily was strong and smart, if a little naive, and instantly someone I wanted to protect. And she was so relatable:
“My nosy nature and need for vengeance is what has me crawling out of the bed, heading for the shower.”
“I’ll have a breakdown when it’s appropriate, I decide.”
That’s so me.
Anyway, back to the pack. Axel was charming and cocky, but in a way that wasn’t annoying. He was a big “My Wife” guy. Cash was stoic, but sweet (for his Omega only). Also, secretly incredibly unhinged. We love that. Tate, her Sad Alpha. He was the most frustrating, but the one I most wanted to find his way. He also had a relatable moment:
“Fuck the government, the state of Florida, and fuck my dad.”
So true Tate.
My favorite thing about them was how fiercely loyal and protective they were of Lily and she was just as obsessed and possessive of them. They all weirdly managed to balance each other out and come together to be what was best for the pack and the club.
One thing I do wish we got more of was real dialogue with Lily and her guys one on one developing their bond. But instalove is kind of a given in the Omegaverse.
Overall, I really loved the story and it was a really great setup for the series. MC Romances aren’t usually my thing, but this may have changed that. I will be patiently waiting for more of the Dead Palms.
