The Monroe Brothers #2

Finding Sunshine

Rate this book
A rugged mountain man was the last thing I’d tick off on my Christmas checklist. As a single mother I’m used to counting only on myself. Imagine my surprise when I arrive home to find my porch decorated with holiday lights. I didn’t expect Knox’s kindness, or the way he makes my heart skip a beat. He’s handsome, sexy, sweet, and attentive; everything I want under my Christmas tree.

I’m 100% focused on my daughter, I don’t have time for socializing, dating, or falling for a grumpy mountain man whose family owns a Christmas Tree Farm. But Knox is constantly there, offering support and friendship and unknowingly reminding me that I’m still a hot-blooded woman and not just a mother.

Because Christmas is his job, Knox has completely lost his Christmas spirit, but in return for his generosity, I’m determined to help him find it once more.

From cutting down a Christmas tree for my home and decorating it with my daughter, to including us in his family’s Christmas celebrations, I’m soon drawn into the magical spell of a Christmas romance. This year, Christmas seems to have brought us both some unexpected surprises. He adores my daughter, and she adores him, just like I do.

Every day I fall a little more in love with Knox, his family, and their farm. But Knox’s priority is his family and the Christmas tree farm. Can he ever put me first?

Will the magic disappear after the holidays, or will this love last forever?

5 star Review Finding Sunshine (The Monroe Brothers #2) by Lea Coll

I love any story that is centred around Christmas; it’s a time to get together and celebrate.

I enjoy Lea Coll’s style of writing; her characters are engaging and Finding Sunshine combines two of my favorite tropes, single parents and the holidays, so this was a win/win for me.

I was invested in Knox and Sarah’s
story from the first chapter. The fact that Knox’s family owns a Christmas Tree Farm was an added bonus.

I fell hard and fast for our hero, such a swoon worthy, caring, loving man, he ticked all the boxes for me. There were so many moments where he just melted my heart.

I loved how he cared for Sarah and her daughter, Addy; It was truly heartwarming. Addy almost stole the book away from Knox and Sarah.

It was entertaining to watch their relationship progress and I was cheering for them to get the happily ever after they all deserved. Knox’s brothers and their camaraderie pulled me right in.

Could the magic of the holidays season bring love for Knox and Sarah?

This is really wonderful and romantic story. The two main characters Sarah and Knox make a gorgeous couple. The plot is enchanting and readers will enjoy each turn of the page. Addy will be a constant scene stealer as she worms her way into readers hearts. The dialogue is easy to understand and uncomplicated. The author has presented a heartwarming and engaging holiday romance with a happy ending that readers will enjoy.

I recently read Finding Sunshine and I have to say, it was an extremely entertaining and captivating read. The characters were so well-developed and intriguing, and the writing was beautiful. The sweet romance between Sarah and Knox was heartwarming, and the emotional depth of the story was truly touching. The book's focus on family, Christmas magic, and love in bloom was a perfect blend, making it a wonderfully sweet and uplifting romance. I highly recommend Finding Sunshine to anyone who enjoys a heartwarming holiday romance.

Sarah and Knox’s story in Finding Sunshine by Lea Coll, book two in the Monore Brothers series, is a wonderful, heartwarming and romantic holiday romance between a single mom and a grumpy landscaper. Sarah’s daughter, Addy, was a welcome addition, adding depth and layers to the story while not only stealing Knox’s heart, but many of the scenes she was in.

Knox and his family own and operate a Christmas tree farm. Each brother also has a side hobby/business, for Knox it’s his landscaping business. Knox is putting up Christmas decorations for Sarah, a single mom, because her adorable and outspoken daughter, Addy, told Knox that she wished their home could look like the others in the neighborhood. Sarah is overwhelmed with work and other daily things; unable to really afford to decorate their home. Wanting to pay Knox back, she invites him in for a snack. When he notices that they don't have a tree and might put up an artificial one, he offers to have them come to his family's Christmas tree farm where he'll get them a real tree. This man just continues to do generous things for her and her daughter, and it’s not ending anytime soon. Sarah and Addy were welcomed into this family with open arms no questions asked; making her and her daughter family. Their attraction and off-the-charts chemistry encourages them to attempt a relationship; which leads to feelings that scare Knox as he believes his family should come first despite his falling for Sarah and Addy. Knox will have to work through his feelings of guilt for not being with his father before he died before he can open his heart to the possibility of a family of his own. Meanwhile, Sarah will need to become stronger and stand up for herself, especially with Addy’s father, before she can follow her own dreams of a career on her own.

Ms Coll once again created a delightful, amazing, kind and wonderful family of brothers, with each brother being somewhat different. This close-knit family, although sharing some similar traits: grumpy and stubborn, is incredibly supportive of each other. I'm really looking forward to the rest of the Monroe brothers' stories. I highly recommend Finding Sunshine to other readers and can’t wait to see which Monroe brother is next.

Knox and Sarah’s story is both sweet and spicy with the magic of the holiday season sprinkled liberally throughout. Knox is the quintessential book boyfriend who steals your heart and never gives it back. It is Sarah’s young daughter Addie who first steals his heart. He can’t help but grant her request to make her house look like the other houses in her neighbourhood that have been decorated for Christmas. Sarah is not sure what to make of Knox and his brothers decorating her house without her permission. As a single mom, her finances and time are limited, so decorating has not been high on her list of priorities. Knox convinces her that the lights and decorations are a gift for young Addie who reminds him of his young niece. The next thing you know Sarah agrees to go to the Christmas tree farm that Knox’s family own’s to pick out a live tree with Addie and him. Both Sarah and Knox are very well are of their attraction to each other, and so are the members of his family, but they agree to just be friends. Both say they are not looking or ready for anything beyond friendship.

Sara is afraid to risk her and her daughter’s heart again after her relationship with Addie’s father. She has had only her family to support her and her daughter for so long and trusting someone not to hurt her and Addie is hard. For Knox, a relationship would divide his focus and he is afraid to do that again. His focus had been his education then new job instead of the farm and his family when his father had a heart attack and died a few years ago. Since then his guilty feelings have kept his focus only on the farm and his family. However, the attraction and connection between them is just too strong for Knox and Sarah to put aside. He persuades her to give a relationship beyond friendship a chance and she cautions him to be careful with her heart as well as Addie’s. Can they put aside the guilt and pain of their pasts to reach for love and forge their own happily ever after?

Knox, Sarah and little Addie instantly grabbed my heart and attention, making it impossible to stop reading their endearing story. The magic of the season, the Christmas events and the family connections all make this book a very enjoyable and special read. I received a copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving this honest review.

What a great addition to the Monroe Brothers series – I loved it! This is the second story in the series and is the story of Knox and Sarah. Sarah is a single mother to the adorable little Addy who asks Knox to decorate their house so that it looks as festive as the other houses on the street. Knox can’t turn down this little cutie pie so he readily agrees to have his brothers help him decorate their house for free. As the guys are finishing the decorations, Sarah and Addy come home and Sarah is mortified that her daughter has asked this gorgeous guy to do this for them!

Knox is a sweet and caring guy who hides behind a grumpy façade due to his taking the world on his shoulders. Sarah is a struggling single mom who is trying to do the very best for her adorable daughter and who has lost a bit of herself in attempting to be an independent mom. These two made a super cute couple who came together easily. They are both extremely loyal, strong and stubborn. They communicate easily, are willing to admit to their mistakes easily, are really good to the other and have amazing chemistry. You just simply want to root for them to figure things out with each other and to quit putting everyone else’s burdens and happiness above their own.

The total scene stealer for me is Addy! What a cutie! No matter who she is deals with, she simply shines. No wonder Knox melts with her!

This easy and sweet story, especially at this time of year, seemed exactly like a Hallmark movie would be – grumpy flannel wearing guy, Christmas tree farm, snow, lights, family and a little bit of magic! I read this in one sitting because it was just too sweet to put down. I’m loving these Monroe brothers and look forward to more of their stories in the future!

Finding Sunshine is the next book in this author’s Monroe Brothers series. It’s the spinoff from her Ever After series. This one focuses on a family who owns a Christmas tree farm, and it’s a holiday romance due to the story’s timeframe. If you’re the type of reader who enjoys reading books based on the time of year you’re experiencing, grab this one before the Christmas season ends! It’s a complete stand-alone title with only a brief mention of characters from the previous series. However, as a self-proclaimed big fan of this author’s books, I highly recommend reading all of the Ever After books in order, then diving into the first two books of this one.

For longtime fans, I know we were all looking forward to Runaway Love, and I really liked the story. But this was, by far, my favorite to date. I haven’t quite put my finger on why, though. Maybe it was Knox’s struggle with his feelings around his father’s death that resonated more deeply with me as I’ve wrestled with a similar situation in the not-so-distant past. But I don’t think it’s the only reason I loved this one so much because I also felt Sarah’s pain deeply (tissues may or may not have been involved). Or perhaps it’s this idea of a close-knit family that loves big and doesn’t think twice about including more and more people in their definition of family. Although, at this point, I think I’ve figured out it was more like all three points woven into this swoony holiday romance, complete with an adorable little girl who nearly stole the show.

As usual, Lea Coll delivered a cast of well-written and well-developed characters, sweet and swoony moments, and sprinkled in a bit of holiday magic (and a few breadcrumbs for the next book) for a winning combination.

Perfect blend of sweet, steamy and holiday magic makes for a super swoony read

Finding Sunshine (The Monroe Brothers Book 2) by Lea Coll touched my romance heart and added a dose of magic too. Single parent romances are always a winner in my book and this one set at Christmas as well as a Christmas tree farm is a holiday explosion overload, but in a totally great way!
These Monroe Brothers are spectacular as well as flawed, including Knox. And his friendship with Sarah and Addy is a beautiful thing.
Despite the baggage both Knox and Sarah carry, friendship becomes something more and even though they both claim neither wants a relationship! Honestly, I love Sarah for Knox and Knox for Sarah and Addy! Sarah and Knox are the perfect blend of sweet and steamy while also including/considering Addy's thoughts and feelings. These two so supportive and open to one another that this relationship is a no brainer from almost the very beginning.
Overall, I love this author's stories. I haven't read a book by Lea Coll that I haven't liked yet and Finding Sunshine is definitely not an exception! In fact, this small town Christmas romance is utter perfection to me, but not so perfect that it's overly done on the sweetness scale. Like I said, a perfect blend indeed. Romantic gestures, family, Christmas magic, love in bloom and the recipe for Knox and Sarah's HEA is complete.
I read an ARC of this book and voluntarily share my review.

I loved the first book in this series and couldn’t wait to read this book! I loved Knox in the first book and loved how he pushed Emmet to get things right with Ireland. Now he gets a chance at his own happiness with Sarah and Addy.

I didn’t view Knox as grumpy. I saw him as being closed off with the weight of his guilt over his dad’s passing. But would he let that guilt ruin what he began with Sarah and Addy?

I really felt for Sarah. She had her own challenges like being unhappy with her career, struggling to get financially secure, and an absentee father for her daughter, Addy. I felt that she was doing the best she could, right up to when Knox pointed out some things she could do to take more control of her life.

Knox and Sarah had amazing chemistry! And I absolutely adored how he was with Addy! The fact that he and Addy became friendly while he was putting up lights in her neighbor’s yard and wanted to make her happy by putting up lights on her home as well was so heartwarming!

There seems to be a pattern of one (or more) of the Monroe brothers helping the brother to figure things out in the romance department. I can’t wait to find out what happened between Talon and Holly, and what the deal is with Heath and Marley!!!

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest opinion.

Single Mom and Grumpy Mountain Man
Knox is a grumpy landscaper who is putting up Christmas decorations for Sarah, a single mom, because her daughter, Addy, told Knox that she wished their home could look like the others in the neighborhood. Sarah is overwhelmed with work and other daily things and really can't afford to decorate their home. She wants to pay Knox back so she invites him in for a snack. When he finds out that they don't have a tree and might put up an artificial one, he offers to have them come to his family's Christmas tree farm and he'll get them a real tree. One thing leads to another and their attraction leads both of them to just try a no-strings relationship. Of course, that leads to feelings and Knox feels that his family should come first even though he's falling for Sarah and Addy. Will Knox be able to have both his family and possibly a family of his own? Will Sarah be able to follow her own dreams of a career on her own? I really liked this story about this wonderful family. I'm looking forward to the rest of the Monroe brothers' stories. I received an early copy of the book to read. I'm leaving my honest review.

Not my favorite of the series so far since I really liked Emmitt’s story the best. But Knox’s story beautiful, just not my favorite. That being said this book was very enjoyable and had a great character line up and development. Especially adorable Addy. I loved that little girl’s big beautiful heart and sunshiny personality. She brightened every room she was in.

Sarah being a single mom really touches on real life struggles. Single moms tend to lose themselves trying to be the best mother ever and not wanting to rely on anyone else. Sometimes they tend to neglect themselves. This book touches on this and really gives readers an outlook on the real life struggles. This plot really touches on the soul.

Knox is a wonderful character. He is sweet and caring, yet seems to take the world on his shoulders. As we get his story we get a bit more glimpse into his brother Talin. I believe his story will be sad and heartbreaking.

Overall this is a wonderful story. It is full of wonder, happiness and love. This series especially this book should be picked up by Hallmark. They make wonderful and heartfelt stories that touch the soul. Can’t wait for the next one.

Knox is determined to stay single. He's hesitant to build any lasting relationships, since he holds himself responsible for his family and their livelihood at the Monroe Christmas Tree Farm. He knows he doesn't have room in his life for someone special. He fears that he won't be able to manage it all and will shortchange everyone.

However, when little Addy asks Knox to decorate her house for Christmas to look like everyone else's on her block, he can't resist the precious little girl. He's seen Sarah, Addy's mom, around at school events since his niece is in the same school as Addy. He's always thought her to be attractive but has been unwilling to push for anything resembling a relationship with Sarah or anyone else. While decorating her house, he has his first real interaction with both Sarah and her daughter.

What starts as a friendship quickly evolves into something more. Knox is very sweet and supportive. He falls in love with both Sarah and her daughter - he truly sees them as a package deal. Sarah is somewhat hesitant to get too involved too quickly, as she has what's best for her young daughter at the forefront of her mind at all times. It's great to see a lead character that works to balance home, family and work. While it's hard, she does a great job at it.

Told in alternating point of view, the reader gains insight into both characters and how their experiences inform their actions. While these two will face hurdles, both real and imagined, their commitment to each other and Addy are a great holiday read that centers on family and relationships in a non-traditional family. Overall, this is a very sweet, low angst holiday romance.

Four stars.

This is an honest, voluntary review of an ARC of the story.

Christmas and romance what more can you ask for. My two favorite things
Knox was not looking for love all he has time for is his family the tree farm and his landscaping business romance love were not in his sights. But love doesn't have a timetable . It will happen even if you are not looking for it.
Sarah is a single mom trying to do the best she can. The only thing she has time for is her daughter and work. Like Knox she has no time for romance. She has been burned by her ex who has no time for their daughter and it has made Sarah reluctant into getting into any type of relationship with someone.
But once she met Knox and started spending time with him she realized how different he was from her ex. Knox made time for her and Addy. He treated Addy like a father should treat their child and his family accepted Sarah and Addy with open arms. Knox and his family shared and included Sarah and Addy in their many family traditions, how could you not fall in love.
The series is about the magic of Christmas. Each release has you believing in the miracles of the season. Falling in love, family, and finding your forever all rolled into one.

Knox Monroe still regrets that he was not at the Christmas Tree Farm when his father died of a heart attack. He has moved home to be there to help his mother and brothers with the farm and his landscaping business. When young Addy sees him placing Christmas lights at her neighbors’ homes, she asks if he will put lights up at her home. He almost has them done when she and her mother arrive home. Meeting Sarah, Addy’s single mother, soon has him helping with anything they need giving him a chance to get closer to Sarah. Sarah is thrilled with the simmering attraction between them, but worries that if things don’t work out between them how it will affect Addy. Slowly she feels welcomed by Knox’s entire family and looks forward to spending time with them at the farm. When his mother has a health scare, he feels the same fear that he felt when he was not there for his father. Is this going to tear Sarah’s new found romance apart? A beautiful, heartwarming romance just perfect for this holiday season. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (paytonpuppy)

These brothers are proving to be alike in many ways. They’re stubborn, strong, loyal, hardheaded, and they don’t always handle stress in the best ways. But I’m also seeing the super positives here. They’re loyal, they’re loving, they admit when they’re wrong, they learn from mistakes, and they hold themselves (and each other) accountable for stupid words uttered in times of stress. All of this combined makes them feel so human and real that it’s hard to stay angry or upset for long. And just like his brother before him, Knox has found his perfect match in Sarah. Because she doesn’t let him just hurl words and ride off unscathed. No way. She gives him the truth and lets him think about it, while his family is always ready to go to bat for those they love. And this time around, they love Sarah as much as they do Knox. So of course they all have a part in fixing mistakes. I just hope we see more of this with Heath’s story, since I’m pretty sure his is going to sting. Maybe not as much as another brother’s, but I think we’re building toward that one so it doesn’t shatter us from jump!

This romantic novel is perfect for the holidays and Christmas since the main stage is The Monroe Christmas Tree Farm run by the mom and her fours sons all hunks. One, Emmett, is already taken and now it's Knox's turn to stand under the holly which he does when meeting Addy, the precocious six-year-old going on ten daughter of Sarah. She is the sunshine in everyone's life. Nattering nonstop to Knox as he decorates and installs christmas lights at her neighbor's house she moves him to do the same for her own house. Her mother Sarah is stunned at the effort put in by Knox and his brothers to install lighting on her porch without charge and it sparks up more than appreciation as she admires his biceps while he doesn't miss how curvy and beautiful the single mother is. Soon Knox, Sarah and Addy are inseparable spending time at each other's houses and visiting the farm which they all love so much. A very sweet romance with delicious steam. Light angst, carriage rides, waterfalls, love in abundance. Sweet read. Received this arc and have voluntarily reviewed.

Who doesn't LOVE a Christmas Tree Farm in the winter !! Especially the Monroe Christmas Tree Farm with ALL of the sexy, hot Monroe Brothers !! This installment is for the rugged, smart and loving Knox Monroe BUT he is also a tough nut to crack since he thinks he has to be around the farm all of the time since when he wasn't the family had a tragedy .. BUT he is the only one that thinks that.

So when he meets Sarah and Addy, her daughter, he knows he wants and needs someone special in his life and Sarah might be it until .. yes we all know how these brothers screw things up .. cough cough Emmett ..

Can Sarah and her adorable little girl Addy make Knox see that they are worth fighting for or will Knox be stubborn and bury his head in his work .. landscaping, holiday light and the tree farm and miss out on the BEST thing that just stumbled on to him.

Sarah has her own crosses to bare .. being a single mom and an ex that cares one day and doesn't care the next .. So these two are quite a pair !!

Can't wait to see what Heath and marley have in store for us !!

Knox first meets Sarah’s young daughter Addy when she asks him to put lights up at her house, like he did the other houses in her neighborhood. Sarah is a single mom and does not have the money to pay for that service so Knox does it for free, with his brothers. That act of kindness starts a friendship and then a romance. They both share a love for their families and a concern about being in a relationship, given all the other demands in their lives.

I really liked the two main characters and the emphasis they placed on doing good in the world and being close to their families. They have things in their past that make taking a chance scary - his dad’s sudden death, her ex’s lack of involvement with their daughter - but they do it anyway.

I have read the first book in this series and really liked it but this would be fine as a stand alone.

I read an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Sometimes love walks into your life when you least expect it but for some reason, the universe knows that you need it in your life. Finding Sunshine is a wonderfully sweet romance that finds a single mom, Sarah, and a somewhat grumpy, family Christmas tree owner, Knox, meeting under the cutest terms, her daughter, Abby. She wanted Christmas lights on her house just like everyone in the neighbourhood and saw Knox decorating her neighbour's house. Well, Knox could not turn down this pretty and sweet little girl. He surprised Sarah and a friendship formed. Their friendship turned into something much more.
Their story is one of friendship, hope and love as well as the importance of family. Did they get their HEA? Yes, but the road was bumpy along the way. Ms. Coll delivers a beautifully written storyline that will grab onto your heartstrings and never let go.
Finding Sunshine is a wonderful holiday book to pick and to give to friends as a gift.

If you are looking for a romantic, magical read look no further than Sarah and Knox’s story in Finding Sunshine . Christmas is my favourite time of the years and this book is one of my favourites reads this year.
Single mum Sarah can’t believe her eyes when she comes home to find Knox and his brothers decorating her house for Christmas and what made it even noteworthy special was because they were doing it because I’d a conversation through the fence with her daughter Addy.
What follows is a truly magical, wonderful and hallmark Christmas movie worthy romance that touched me on so many levels. I fell hard and fast for Knox, I adored Sarah but it was Addy who stole my heart. Finding Sunshine is a journey that will certainly leave feeling all warm and cozy and chomping at the bit for the upcoming holiday season.

This is the second book in the series of the grumpy Monroe Brothers, and is the story of Knox and Sarah. Knox is the second oldest of the brothers, and feels that he let down his family by not being there when his dad passed away suddenly. He carries his guilt like a mantle that weighs on him constantly. When he meets Sarah's daughter, Addy, when he is doing putting up Christmas lights, he agrees to surprise her mom by putting up lights for her. The chemistry between these two leaps of the page and they both fall hard and fast. Knox's interaction with Addy are so adorable and almost steal the show.
I really love Ms. Coll's style of writing and the character development never comes across as rushed or forced and the love and loyalty Knox has for his family shines through. Love the Monroe brothers and their interaction with each other. Looking forward to the next in the series!

I’ve absolutely loved being back with the Monroe Brothers. Even though this is the second book in the series, it can be read as a standalone. As with all of Lea’s books this is beautifully written and reminds me of a hallmark Christmas movie, I could absolutely see this playing out in my mind as I was reading. I absolutely loved Knox and Sarah as a couple, I thought they were perfect for each other and their chemistry was amazing. I loved Knox, underneath the gruff exterior he was really swoonworthy and I loved how he cared for not just Sarah but her daughter Addy too, She was just adorable and stole every scene she was in and as well as stealing Knox’s heart she also stole my mine. I love how close knit the Monroe family is and I loved how they welcomed Sarah and Addy in as their own. I cannot wait to see which Monroe brother is coming next. Overall a very sweet heartwarming story that I highly recommend for the Christmas season.

These Monroe Brothers are shaping up to really be something. Wonderful close knit family but they all have a couple similar traits, grumpy and stubborn but you have to love them and want each to have their own story. This one is Knox, a landscaper who meets a little girl who want her house to look like other in the neighborhood. While decorating the house as a surprise, Addy and her mom come home and Knox is immediately drawn to her single mom, Sarah. It's a lovely story of second chances, strong family, lots of attraction and a wonderful 6 year old that wins you over with some steam and conflicted feelings of responsibility to ones family. I can't wait to read the rest of the Monroe brothers stories.

I have found my own perfect sunshine as my heart is still woven between the pages of this masterpiece this author has produced another heartfelt romantic hit with this breathtaking single-mom romance, Sarah and Knox are both frightened to grip what is right in front of them so put themselves in the friend zone, Knox knows in his heart he wants more with this wonderful woman and her enchanting daughter but his head tells him he spends all his time working between the family Christmas tree farm and his landscaping business how can he have more, but one little girl request for Christmas lights sets the scene perfectly, family traditions the sweet Addy and the magic of Christmas is all that is needed for this perfect HEA.

This is the second book in the series and boy do Monroe brother know how to charm your pants of when they set their mind to. Knox was looking for anything but meeting the cute little Addy and her mom Sarah the world shifted and soon he couldn't imagine his life without them.

Sarah is trying her best being a single mom. Her daughter is her life but when Knox enters her life, she couldn't help to start imagining what life could be like to let him into their lives and hearts. They fit perfectly and even when his old demons reaper he's given a second chance for them to ride into the HEA together.

This is the second book in this awesome series, and this is Knox and Sarah’s journey.
Sarah is a single mom to her daughter Addy, and Knox is busy with his family’s Christmas Tree business and well as his landscaping business. When Sarah arrives home she is surprised that her porch is decorated with holiday lights, especially when he is so busy. These two have feeling for each other but are scared to reveal them and have put each other in the friendzone.
This is a well written story which is easy to read, emotional roller coaster, with family, friendships, engaging and realistic characters, traditions, romance, and love, which leads to an entertaining, haunting, and heartfelt magical gem.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Family at Christmas

Book two in the Monroe Brothers series, and I loved book one. Sarah and Knox beat out Emmett and Ireland, but not by much. Be prepared for a wonderful holiday tale of two who have been burned by others before, but take a chance on the magic of the holidays.

Knox will steal your heart, and Addie will steal his. Addie has asked Knox to decorate their house with lights like the others in the neighborhood. With the help of his brothers, they make it happen, but not before they are caught by Sarah and Addie returning home early. Can the single mom and the former architect find a way to heal their hearts and try again?

Thank you to the Authors for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.

Sarah and Addy plus Knox equals the perfect holiday romance. Although this really could be read anytime you need to feel warm fuzzies.
Knox is hanging Christmas decorations as part of his landscaping business as the winter months tend to slow down.
Which is how Knox meets a very special little girl who wants to brighten her mom's Christmas and asks Knox if he would hang Christmas lights on their house.
Not only is this the sweetest thing, but it gives you that feel good selfless moment we could all use more of.
This new series is just the best way to warm up no matter way you are. There are so many great moments in this story you won't want to miss a single one.
I have voluntarily left this review.

Sarah is trying to give her daughter Addy the best life she can, but her ex-husband is making that difficult. She is struggling financially so when she can’t afford the decorations her daughter would like Addy recruits Knox and his family to help.

Knox is enchanted by Addie and wants to give her a holiday that she will remember but what begins as decorating the outside leads to him offering them a tree from the farm that his family owns. He has closed himself off to love but as Addie and Sarah spend time with him and his family he sees what his life could be like.

This is a story about love, family and the magic of the holiday season. Due to their pasts neither Sarah nor Knox were looking for love but sometimes the best things in life happen when you least expect it.
