Over a hundred and fifty produced episodes made him one of the most prolific writers and an award-winning pioneer throughout the sixties, seventies and eighties. He created TV series, also co-wrote three Elvis Presley films, then wrote and produced the hugely successful three-hour Presley biopic “ELVIS” for ABC-TV.
He also received four WGA nominations and is on the Writer’s Guild list of 101 best-written TV series for “Gunsmoke”, “Columbo” and “The Fugitive.”
