A story with a small town Lake Huron Michigan setting and a bushel of hidden secrets. A Locke legacy of love, family and friends. Book 9 A Most Unusual Guest is a page turning, who dun it mystery with relatable characters, twist and turn plot, and a believable resolution. Foreshadowing throughout the story has this reader of the Easton Island series wanting more. What is Morgan’s grandmother hiding and what is the final outcome of the Locke Pointe home artifact. Hope Callaghan’s style includes a character list and tidbits from the previous stories to refresh the reader of past events. As a retired reader, who at times has a limited attention span, I enjoy Callaghan’s writing style: short paragraphs, with just enough description and dialog to keep the mystery moving. Recipe for Canadian Prairies Flapper Pie included.

This just keeps getting better!!!!
So many questions... Now we have answers!!! And yes!!! I've already ordered the next book in the series!!!!!
Love is in the air...with a few road bumps along the way! Brett and Quinn hit a bit of a snag while attending a concert by an up and coming new band. Wyatt and Morgan enjoy each other's company more and more. Even Grandmother Elizabeth might be letting her defenses down a little when an old romance begins to bloom once more.
But the true meat of the story is the medallion!!! Is it the real deal and who does it rightly belong to? Will the Biblical Architect be able to verify the authenticity of the medallion or will it all turn out to be false hope? If you've been following this series you will want to get your hands on this newest adventure as soon as possible! You won't be disappointed!!!!

Time for evaluation!
I have loved every book in this fascinating series, getting to know the family and inhabitants of Easton Island. What a crazy time Morgan has had! Finding a historical artifact and now trying to get it identified and authenticated has been an interesting process, along with following the relationships of those involved. But there are still some mysteries yet to be solved. I can’t wait until I can read the next book. I received a free ARC of this book from the author and write this review voluntarily.

Love Easton Island
Morgan Easton lived and worked in Florida and had no plans to leave her job nor the home she had shared with her mother. When a letter arrived from an attorney requesting her appearance at a meeting with strangers in a location that she did not know she was torn as to whether she would go. She did, and her life changed forever. If you have just picked up Easton Island I highly suggest that you read them in order as the story progresses. Thank you for keeping readers on our toes Mrs Callaghan!!

This is such a fabulous feel-good series! At long last the famous archeologist comes to Easton Island to examine Morgan’s medallion. Is it a genuine artifact or merely a reproduction? The book is extremely well written with an intricate plot and finely crafted characters. Highly recommended and you’ll want to read the books in order for the best experience. I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next in the series.

Many questions were answered in book nine of this fantastic series!! With an amazing author like Hope, her storytelling ability gives the reader time to recall the whole eight books that begin to build to a startling conclusion!! A Most Unusual Guest
Hope Callaghan has once again written the most mysterious and entertaining story. I Love the characters in this book. Hope describes so much detail to the area they are in and the places that they go to in so much detail that I wish these were actual places that we could go visit. They sound absolutely Charming and Beautiful yet there is something about them that is so unique. Thank you Hope for another mystery that I truly enjoyed reading.

Easton Island revisited.
I love this series! Ms. Callaghan makes her characters very true -to- life and the descriptions are so that you can imagine everything just as it is intended.

Easton Locke family legacy
The saga continues with a rare find, a covert visitor, a budding romance or two, and a family that has managed to stay loyal and true to each other thru some very difficult trials. A wholesome wonderful clean read that keeps unfolding with each new installment.

I have read all of the books in this series and cannot wait for the next one to come out!! I’ve become a huge fan of Hop Callaghan.
I love the connections between the characters as well as the mystery.
If you want a book that keeps you reading without a bunch of unnecessary garbage in it then these books are perfect!

This book was fine but it didn’t have an ending. I kept waiting for something to be resolved but it never did. I still will read the next book and hope it will help resolve all the issues.

And the beat goes on, as they say. I am loving this exciting series. Each installment brings more depth to the story and the mystery. I love the development of the characters, the strengthening of the family ties, the blossoming romances and, of course, Chester.

Another chapter in the life of the Easton family. One big question is answered, but now there is another issue which is a cliff hanger. As this new issue concerns the health of one of the main characters, one hopes the next in the series will be available soon and will end the suspense.

I LOVE this book!!
It was difficult to put this book down. I feel like part of the Easton family. All the characters are so likeable. All the food sounds so delicious. It was an exciting plot and has renewed my desire to ride a zip line.

Another 5 star from Hope. This was not my favorite of the series but will give readers some answers that we have been waiting for. However, there was a point towards the end of the book that definitely left me longing for more.

A very quick read. This continues to be a very comfortable series. Almost A-Day-in-The Life format. A very strong focus on the Medallion and its authenticity in this book. A few others seem to be looking at "coupling up". Wyatt has a really fun surprise for Morgan (and Chester).
