Just because my brother found love doesn’t mean I have to.
I’d rather focus on other things.
Like money.
It never gives you sleepless nights that drive you insane.
But the single mom I hooked up with at my brother’s wedding?
She’s got me sweating.
I can’t get her out of my head.
Those curves.
That smart mouth.
She’s the right kind of trouble.
But I’m the wrong kind of guy.
Or not.

I loved Jude from the very first words on the page. On the other hand, McKinley left my emotions and opinions swinging wildly. Almost nothing about her life had been easy, but she’d also gone out of her way to make it more difficult than it needed to be. And all of that business of tripping herself up frustrated me so badly. It might have had a lot to do with how much of my own self-sabotage I could see in her. McKinley is a powerful reminder of how rare it is to be able to accept help with grace. Their ending was positively adorable, but I don’t expect any different from this author. Now, I can’t wait to see what will befall the next groomsman and bridesmaid.

I really enjoyed this book. It held my attention well and I thought the character development was very well done. I loved the growth of Jude and McKinley throughout the book, and how they helped each other see life from a different perspective. This book is a standalone that is part of an interconnected series. I think all the books in the series are really good and I recommend reading them in order.

This is one you cannot miss!

Jude and McKinley- Good to see most of the supporting characters from the other 3 books in this incredible series, they're tremendous as always! Another wedding, another one night stand hook up becomes a true HEA! Is it a curse for these bachelor friends, or a blessing? Boy oh boy has McKinley been through the wringer, this gal has been stomped over since she was 18 and pregnant. Especially by her baby Daddy and his Mother who threw her out, and made her homeless when she still had months to go before Henry was born. Then her boss continues to put her down, hit on her and underpay her so much that she struggles to live pay check to pay check. She has issues, imagine that! But along comes a true white knight, oh yeah! Jude, an investor with more money than he'll ever need, has a one night stand (so he thought) at his brother's wedding and it was sensational. He's managed to mess things up with her so much, one thing after another; he's just a dumpster fire when it comes to McKinley! Their love is steamy and tender, what a team! Will he ever get it right? Will she forgive him one more time? Brilliant Ms Parker, you don't disappoint, thank you!

I received this book as an ARC reviewer and voluntarily leave my honest opinion.

4.75 stars for this fourth installment of this series. This book is part of an interconnected series and can be read as a standalone. To me it is more enjoyable when it is read in order since the previous characters do play a big part.

I loved Jude from the very first page! He was so sweet, caring, swoon inducing and had the ability to make someone’s ovaries cry for attention when he interacted with children. McKinley….eh….my emotions had a bad case of whiplash from loving her to not really liking her and back multiple times. It wasn’t due to the writing, she just reminded me of my strong willed and determined self. I loved that she wasn’t someone to take handouts and prove she could do things herself. But most of the time, she ended up making things a bigger deal and harder on herself and her child than they needed to be.

I have loved each book in this series. I used my Kindle Unlimited to borrow the book so I could snag the deleted scene. I’m so glad I did because I was previously hoping that Logan and Tess would get a book of their own while reading. Now after that deleted scene and seeing the carefree, goofy prankster Tess at work…. Need her book!

I received an advanced readers copy. These thoughts and opinions are my own.

This story is about a single mum called McKinley, her 4 uear old son called Henry and Jude he buys property's to sell with his brother Flynn. He is very wealthy.
McKinley and Jude meet at Flynn and Ariannes (McKinleys friend) wedding. They hit it off. One thing leads to another. She suddenly leaves straight after.
McKinley works for Kent Brock, a sleazeball, who thinks he's a big shot realtor. They have a new client who wants to buy a string of properties. In walks her one night stand Jude. Kent, let's slip she has a son. Luckily, Jude loves kids.
The storyline is great and draws you in. It's one of these books you cannot put down. I was eager to find out what will happen. Poor Mckinley has a lot to contend with. Her ex's mother, demanding to see her grandson. Her big ego boss, Kent. Her dire one bed apartment falling apart and the landlord won't fix everything. I felt really sorry for her. Then there's Jude who thinks he can throw his money around and fix everything. They are chalk and cheese with each other. Can they sort their differences out and find their happily ever after, or will stubbornness affect the chemistry you will have to read it to find out.
Thank you Ali xx

Lessons have to be learned.

Jude is very rich from money he invested for himself and his brother. He’s also invested in real estate. Mickey (McKinley) works for a realtor and is a mother of a four year old. Jude and Mickey meet at Jude’s half-brother, Flynn’s wedding; him being the best man and her being a bridesmaid. She’s witty and curvy and direct, and everything refreshing in a woman. Yes, they had a one-night stand, but she had to leave. He was disappointed, but thought it best in the end. Now he’s looking to buy up some properties and he lands in the office where Mickey works. Surprise, surprise on both their parts. The old tradition of his family and friends, is that if hook up at a wedding, then you end of getting married to that person. There were many lessons to be learned by both of them, and that took a lot to try to fulfill. Pride got in the way for Mickey, and being helpful without permission got in the way for Jude. They had very steamy moments together. In the end there is an HEA.

Single mom, Mickey, and rich-boy, Flynn, hook up at Flynn's brother's wedding. It was supposed to be a one night stand, but then they are thrown together in a business arrangement. Flynn is smitten with Mickey, even though he swore he would never get tied down, and soon becomes enamored of Mickey's son as well. But Mickey doesn't need or want a rich hero in her life. She's gotten this far without one, and isn't just going to give in to some guy riding in on a white horse. This causes some significant issues on their potential relationship, and is a fun adventure to watch.
I really enjoyed this book, and was happy to find a female that wasn't just gonna give up her life for a dude with money! She really made him work for her affections, and it was great to see this character grow and spread her wings both personally and professionally. Highly recommended! Well done Ali Parker!!

Ali Parker has done it again with a fantastic book. Wedding magic again! Jude and McKinley (Mickey) meet at his brother’s wedding. Their immediate attraction turned into a hook-up with a hilarious ending😂😂! Back to their lives leads to an unexpected reconnection. Their story is original, entertaining, captivating and had me reading into the early morning hours.🥱. The characters are so complex and interesting. The ones that I liked, I really, really liked. The characters who were mean with questionable personalities I felt anger, resentment, and I couldn’t stand them. All this to say I was pulled into the storylines while being invested in what was happening between McKinley and Jude. The hidden ace is McKinley’s son, Henry.

I received this ARC from Bookfunnel. My review includes my thoughts, feelings, and opinions.

Jude and McKinley met when they were Best Man and Bridesmaid at his brother's wedding where they hit it off and spent the night together it happened so quickly that they didn't have time to get each other's numbers. But McKinley had to leave very early and didn't wake him to say goodbye.

Imagine Jude's surprise when whilst looking for investment properties, he visits a real estate office and discovers that McKinley works there. Jude wants to re-connect and in order to spend time with Mckinley he insists that she be the one to show him around the properties.

That's when their story starts, will Jude convince her to take a chance on them or will concern for her son, Henry stop her from taking things further?

I enjoyed Jude and McKinley's story, it hooked me easily and I read it in one sitting.

Another great addition to the Not You Again series. This is book 4 where we start at Flynn and Ariane’s wedding where Jude and McKinley are best man and bridesmaid. Queue the attraction and one night stand. Will the dreaded wedding curse strike again. We met Jude in the last book. He has done well for himself and has more money than he will ever need. McKinley is a single mom who is just surviving in her life, just barely getting by each day. Jude never expected to see her again but when he runs into her while looking for investment properties he can’t help but want to learn more. He also can’t seem to stop trying to help. McKinley is too stubborn for her own good and her sons and refuses genuine help. Read their adventures to see how they end up with their happy ever after. I hope we have more Not You Again coming. Would love to have a Logan book.

This is a brilliant addition to this series.
Jude is never going to settle down, or so he says, but when he sleeps with Mickey after his brothers wedding he can't stop thinking about her.
Mickey is a single mother has been down on her luck since before she had her little boy Henry.
When Jude goes to an estate agent to buy more properties for his portfolio he is shocked to find Mickey working there.
He can't stay away from her now but when he tries to help her she pushes him away.
Can they make it back to each other or will Mickey keep pushing him away.
They are perfect together but is that enough.
Absolutely loved the ending.

Jude is bestman at his brothers wedding, and against everyone's advice, he hooks up with McKinley, one of the bridesmaids for the night. She didn't mean to fall asleep, so when she woke up with a start, she fast got dressed and went home without waking Jude or leaving a note. They hadn't exchanged numbers, so that was it then.
Jude wants to buy some properties for investment purposes, so he walks into a real estate office to talk to the owner. He then calls in his assistant, who happens to be McKinley
Surprise, shock. Jude then states he will only see properties with her.
The story really begins now.
I ❤️ so loved this book that I read it in one sitting. I just kept turning the pages to see what was next.
Easy read, standalone HEA

Jude and McKinley meet at his brother’s wedding and enjoy a night of passion.
I just loved Jude’s character, he had a heart of gold but kept messing things up with McKinley by trying to solve all her problems for her. That said McKinley had big issues from her earlier relationship which needed to be resolved and throw in being a single mother she certainly had her fill of responsibilities on her shoulders. This all made her character more understandable in wanting to stand on her own two feet.
A great story, especially as it’s not every day that you get a male character that admits to wanting a family but the way Jude was with his baby niece Willow and then the joy he got from spending time with McKinley’s son Henry was such a lovely touch.

Jude and Mckinley meet at a wedding where he is the best man, and she is the bridesmaid. They have an intimate one-night stand, but she leaves early giving Jude a lasting impression he can't get rid of. When he connects with Mckinley again it is at the real estate office she works at and the sparks are still there between them. She has been in a bad relationship before and guards her heart closely. Will Jude be able to get through her barriers and will it lead them to happiness. This heartfelt story had me in their corner from start to finish.

Jude and McKinley (Mickey) met at Flynn's wedding and hit it off. Both were down for just one night but neither of them could stop thinking about the other. Jude runs into McKinley again when he is looking for a property to buy. McKinley doesn't want to jump into anything with him because she has a little boy, who is her main concern. Jude tries to help but doesn't realize that he is overstepping after she asked him not to repeatedly. I understand McKinley's reluctance to let Jude help her but I see Jude just trying to be there for her in ways that he can be. Both have to learn to see from the other's perspective for their relationship to really blossom. Another lovely story by Ali Parker.

Another great book from this series which can be read as a standalone. Other than that if you have read the previous series you will find some characters from there which is good to see them again in this book. The wedding seasons are great in this series as we all know what will happen. Despite that the plot is so interesting that you want to keep reading. Their love and chemistry are so on the spot that you want them to be together already in the beginning of the book. Of course it has it's HEA which I, personally will highly recommend reading it!

This is the latest in this series, but can be read as a standalone. Jude is aware of the myth amongst his friends that if a groomsman and a bridesmaid get together at a wedding they will be the next to wed, but he doesn’t believe it applies to him. At his brothers wedding Jude sets his sights on a night of fun with McKinley, who is happy to keep things as a one off night fun. But will date agree, or throw them together? And if so can they make a go of things, or let their own characteristics put obstacles in their way? Great characters, a lovely story with many twists and turns, a thoroughly enjoyable read, which I received as an advance copy.

I really enjoyed getting to sink into McKinley and Jude's journey. Jude is the guy that wants to do things for those he cares about, a bit of a fixer, but it's with heart. I loved how he was with his little baby niece, the super sweet side that came out. McKinley is an amazing single mom, all about her little boy and doing what needs to be done for him. I loved her strength. The two of them click well, but it's a journey with ups and downs that kept the pages turning. It's a great read from start to finish with visits from previous characters that I loved!

I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Two Wrongs Made Right, book 4 in the Second Chance Encounter series follows Jude and McKinley. Another wedding, another one night stand, this time it’s Jude’s brother Flynn’s wedding where he meets single mother McKinley. McKinley has had it rough, living paycheck to paycheck with her four year old son Henry. Jude is a real estate investor looking to buy some properties from realtor Kent Brock, who it turns out is McKinley’s boss. Though Jude wants to help McKinley, she’s not looking for a handout. But will the tradition of wedding hook-ups turning into weddings keep going with Jude and McKinley?

This is a well written book with strong characters in Jude and McKinley. The author does a great job developing the story and pulls you into their lives from first meet at the wedding to their sizzling hot night together and again when they meet at her workplace. Now they have a second chance at romance. The story moves fluidly with her descriptive scenes. I loved reading their story and highly recommend this book.

I received a free copy of the steamy novel Two Wrongs Made Right: A Not You Again Novel by Ali Parker and this review was given freely.
An unforgettable one-night stand with bridesmaid and struggling single mom McKinley/Mickey turns into a fast-paced but conflicted romance. When the wealthy Jude Olson finds his mystery woman working in a demeaning realtor’s office, Jude can’t stay away from her and her son, but his well-meaning attempts to solve her problems without consulting her backfire when pride and reduced communication nearly tear them apart.

Jude and McKinley meet at his brother’s wedding. He is the best man and he hooks up with a bridesmaid. Uh oh, could Jude be the next in the line? He’s really not sure what he wants. McKinley is a single mom who is just fighting to survive and has been burned more times than she can count. Jude definitely had his work cut out for him. He wants her to let him help her. She is adamant against taking any help. Can she finally let him in and will he keep fighting for them? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

You need to read this book now. What a great story. Jude, a self made billionaire and McKinley, trying to make the best of a job she hates meet as part of the bridal party at a friend's wedding. The characters are very well developed from the first chapter. You feel the pain and joy as their relationship develops. Of course the bonus is McKinley's son who has such witty repartee all throughout the story. This is another must read stand alone in the "A Not You Again" novels.

Enjoying this series by this author.
Jude and McKinley will pull at your heartstrings in different ways.
Jude is amazing and you fall for him on page 1.
McKinley ... she's a mess you grow to love and appreciate. You want to hug her and take away her pains, then on those stubborn moments where she forgets how to accept help, you want to shake her and tell her it's okay!
Regardless, loved this book and always excited to see more from this author.

This is the third book in the Not You Again Series. McKinley and Jude's story is beautifully written, and heartwarming, filled with family drama, push and pull, and miscommunication. I loved to follow them in their journey to love. McKinley, a single mom, is such a beautiful character, strong, smart, independent, and caring. Jude is very handsome, and supportive. They are perfect together. McKinley's son Henry is cute! The supporting characters are great. I enjoyed it.

What a wonderful story and addition to the series. This is a well written story with strong characters, Jude and McKinley, that were well developed. This was definitely a page turner that kept me engaged. It wonderful banter, sizzle, second chance, dual POV, angst, sweet romance, swoon worthy and a very unexpected ending. Don’t worry it’s a HEA type of ending. You’ll love every wonderful, descriptive word written in this story. Highly recommend read this one and rest of the series.

Terrific read addition to this series. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The story follows Jude and McKinley. Jude is the best man and she is the bridesmaid and they meet at his brother’s wedding. It was nice reading more about some of these characters. I loved that McKinley is a single mom. This mother barley makes ends meet but she never stops trying. Jude want to help, but she’s been through it with other men and trust isn’t something she freely gives out anymore. Great read.

I went through every emotion with this book and have book hangover. I loved Henry and Mickey and the things she endured was horrible. Please read this book. I can't wait for the next one. Great work Ali.

Every time I think "This is it! This is my favorite Ali Parker book," she proves me wrong. Dang it! This book was so good! The banter between Jude and McKinley kept me engaged from page one until WAY past my bedtime. Dual POVs, angst, swoon, delicious, well-written smexiness, really sweet romance and an unexpected but perfect HEA.
