If you are looking for some slow burn romance that hits you in the gut with some emotional scenes that are earned and some mid point twists that leave you questioning everything you thought you knew about the book, then this book is for you. The characters are likable and relatable and the author places them in situations where you are able to see how they deal with situations of regret, forgiveness, moving on and trusting God.

Such a lovely series. Three books(so far). An easy read book. I read all three while on vacation. I couldn’t wait to start the next book

How do you find love when you're afraid to love again?
How do you move forward when your past is holding you back?
How do you protect someone when every way you turn your concerns are doubted?
These characters face these very challenging situations while a very sweet love story is developing almost in spite of all the difficulties.
On every page the characters face big life changes, new friendships, possible love, challenges, tension and a heart-racing threat. I cared about the characters and felt invested in the outcome. I wanted a happy ending for them! I won't spoil whether they got that happy ending or not, you have to read it yourself.
